I'm a senior golfer and recently played Deer Creek for the first time with my two sons who both live in Mooresville. The forward tees sometimes 25-50 yard advantage. I loved it. Course is in excellent condition save for a few spotty tees. Greens are undulated and fast. Lots of water and doglegs. Also enjoyed the elevated tee shots and approach shots to uphill greens. Watch out for hole 2 I think it is-the water sneaks up on you. Facilities are excellent-clubhouse, snack bar, restaurant, putting green and driving range all first class. Also one of the friendliest and most helpful clubhouse attendants I've ever run across. Highly recommend this course! And almost forgot to mention-can't beat the price!! FYI-I was not offered a senior rate and did not ask for one as the web site did not display a senior discount. Would have been a bonus!!

Great course with soft fairways making it easy to get some air with your iron shots. Very affordable $25 with cart and a bucket of balls for the driving range are only $4.

Honestly, Deer Creek is one of my favorite golf course on the west side of Indy! The course offers a challenging 18 holes for a cheap price of $25 a round including a cart! The club house pro is knowledgeable and friendly. The course has a putting green, chipping green as well as a driving range with $4 buckets of balls. The course is very well kept nearly year round you'll find that each hole is different and presents a new hazard to avoid! Be aware that there are many holes that contain water so you may want to bring an extra sleeve of balls for this one! Between the dog legs left and right as well as the peninsula greens you'll find yourself itching to see what surprises the next hole has in store. If you've never played here it's worth the few hours it'll take to complete this course!

Overall, a very nice course. Plenty of challenges here. The one staff member I met was welcoming and friendly, certainly a huge improvement over Quail Creek and Twin Bridges. The carts are slowish but the cart paths were mostly in good condition. My primary concern of significance is the green fees. This is an expensive place to play golf. One real complaint: the pro here is way overly conservative. A little moisture he calls for cartpath only. Worst of all, the cartpaths are so far away from the near edge of the the fairways not to mention the center of the fairways. I pity you if you are in the far rough. It slows down play dramatically. Though I use a cart, I take every opportunity to walk, but it is inconvenient to have your clubs so far from your ball and this is a major reason play is slowed.

Very nice course. Well-maintained. Nice mix of holes. Friendly & helpful staff. One of the nicest on the western fringes of Indy, and also close to National Rd and I70.
