Me and Becky went to Da Vinchi for an early Sunday Supper the other week- we were lucky and it was not busy, so We got seated Right Away! We splurged on the il Fomagio appetizer- we thought it would be OK, but it ended up being a DELIGHTFUL treat!! Becky ordered Bolonase and I got a Genoa pizza with roast Mushrooms. Both had generous portions and Becky was thrilled with the thick shaved Parmesian cheese- she called it the Best Bite!!! My pizza was awful spicy, but I knew what I was getting into. As a bonus, I was able to use the Fommagio Sauce to dip my Pizza Crusts- most Restaurants can't make Breadsticks as good as Vinci's pizza Crust! The service and ambiance weren't candlelight dinner level, but Becky said that it had the right "vibe" for the college kids. The pricing was good and reasonable for a Lunch or Quick Dinner date. And the food was so good that Becky said we'll keep coming back until we've finished the Menu!!!

If you're looking for a true taste of Italy, DaVinci's is a gem that delivers on every level. From the moment you walk in, the ambiance welcomes you with its charm.I had the pleasure of trying a few dishes, and each one was nothing short of amazing. To start, the meatballs were a standout--tender, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. They were served with a rich, savory marinara sauce that complemented the meatballs without overwhelming them. You could tell they were made with care and the freshest ingredients.Next up was the Penne alla Vodka--a classic, but executed with such finesse. The pasta was cooked al dente, and the creamy vodka sauce had just the right balance of richness and tang. It was indulgent without being heavy, with a touch of heat from the red pepper flakes that really brought the dish to life. I couldn't stop eating it, and it paired beautifully with a glass of moscato. Finally, the specialty calzone was a thing of beauty. Crisp on the outside with a perfectly golden-brown crust, it was stuffed with a mouthwatering blend of cheese, meats, and vegetables. Each bite was bursting with flavor, and the homemade marinara for dipping added an extra layer of deliciousness. What stood out the most was the attention to detail in every dish. You could taste the authenticity in the ingredients, and it was clear that everything is made with love and a deep respect for traditional Italian cooking. The staff was also incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, adding to the overall great experience.I can't recommend DaVinci's enough. Whether you're in the mood for classic Italian comfort food or something with a unique twist, this place delivers. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu--and I have a feeling you'll be hooked after your first visit, too!

A few friends and I stopped by to grab some food after attending a conference nearby at the university. The wait time was probably the worst I've ever experienced. We were told the wait time was 45 minutes but we waiting close to an hour and 15 minutes. I wish I could say the food was worth it but sadly it was subpar. We ordered the pear salad, tortellini truffle pasta, and individual pizzas. The salad was good but the bacon could've been more crispy. The tortellini pasta was too heavy on the cream and lacked flavor and my pizza was ok but nothing mind blowing.

We ended up doing takeout as it was very busy, but the takeout was done flawlessly and their pizza was super good. We all got pizza and salad but it'd be great to go back and try some of their pastas and appetizers!

What an amazing surprise! We were visiting IU and had to stop by to see what the fuss was all about. We ordered several plates that were delicious in flavor and freshness. Service was great as well. One thing to be aware is how busy this place is and be prepared to wait during peak hours. Honestly worth the wait. We ordered the Penne A la Vodka with Chicken, Seafood Ravioli and the Siciliana pie. All great.

I have been to Da Vinci multiple times and i absolutely love it. The location is really nice, with really cool decorations, and outdoor seating. I have always been seated before the wait time we've been given or there hasn't been a wait time. I love their pizzas as they're super unique and flavorful. This time around we got a chicken fettuccini Alfredo which is not my favorite compared to the other pastas they have. The bolognese was very good, but the pizza was the star of the show. I loved the white sauce and goat cheese, which I don't typically love. There weren't that many pistachio pieces on the pizza, but it was still incredible. I love this place.

Da Vinci is in a great location near downtown and is always busy (for good reason)! The restaurant itself has quite a bit of seating, but you can usually expect to wait. Parking is limited and you typically have to pay to park. I've always had pleasant interactions with staff and food comes out quick. I'm a huge fan of the Pera pizza, it hits the spot every time. The appetizers are hit or miss for me, but any of the pizzas are solid!

Da Vinci is THE spot for a girls night! It has the cutest decor and allll the vibes. Alcoholic Drinks are wine and beer - but really don't need anything else's? We had a variety of pizzas and pastas at the table and I can't say a bad thing about any of it. I can't stress enough how much you should branch out and try something new even if it sounds weird to you. Pistachio pizza? Sounds weird. It was incredible! Everything we had was soooo delicious.Definitely recommend the garlic cheese bread for the table - it was 10/10.Our server was so sweet and attentive even though she was super busy! Overall definitely recommend!

Da Vinci is such a good place to eat if you are ever in bloomington! I highly recommend making a reservation or coming in as soon as they open because they almost always have a wait! The staff is super friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the menu. My favorite thing there is their burrata appetizer and the penne alla vodka pasta!

Went here for dinner with a group of 6 on a busy Friday night. Must say the food was absolutely delicious and the service was fantastic. Our server (Hope) went above and beyond...couldn't have been better. Everyone in our group thought their food was great. Various pasta dishes, pizza, and appetizers. Highly recommend this place...and if you have Hope as your server, that's a bonus. Will be back next time in Bloomington.
