So glad to see another independently owned bookshop in Zionsville. Curious Squirrel Bookshop features social consciousness books and authors. The store offers adult (fiction and non-fiction), teen and children's books, puzzles and accessories. There is a nice children's area, complete with toys and comfy spots to read. Books are competitively priced.Aubrey, the owner, is welcoming and engaged with the community. The shop offers programs such as open canvas painting on a regular schedule. As always, street parking is a bear unless you go early in the day.

What a great little bookstore, right in Zionsville on the main brick street. It was easy to find street parking. I first went there as a part of a therapy dog organization that the bookshop was hosting, so that young children could sit and practice reading to the dogs. The interior is cozy and inviting, and there are places to sit, plus a nice kids area. The owner Aubrey was so kind and welcoming. The collection of books, games, stickers etc are wonderfully diverse and showcase authors and topics for everyone, full of represetation. Such a lovely place! #ReviewsByRL

I absolutely loved this bookstore! There was free parking lot right near the store. The walk from the parking lot to the store is about a 2-3 minute walk. When browsing the collection at the store, you can really tell that diversity was at the forefront of their mind. There were books by LGBTQ+ authors, South Asian authors, black authors, and more. There were also bookish stickers and pins, book related bags, and other gift options. The booksellers were very nice and had so much information about the books and things that I was looking for!
