I'd had the privilege of enjoying Cretia Cakes at Zoobilation and Museum by Moonlight and fell in love! Both times--if I remember correctly--I fell in love with the caramel cake.While I was initially bummed to find out they didn't have an always-open storefront (or perhaps not yet ), I knew that when the chance arose for a cake or cupcake order, I'd want to order directly from Cretia Cakes. In hosting family and friends recently, this was the perfect opportunity. I ordered three dozen cupcakes: caramel cupcakes with caramel flavored buttercream (some they also added caramel drizzle on) and coconut with coconut buttercream. Incredibly moist and delicious!Some cupcakes it feels the icing is the star while the cake is just average, but I truly enjoy the balance of both and I believe Cretia's offers this.The team was careful to verify my order to ensure it was right and even followed up further to ensure they followed all of my details correctly. Pro tip -- 1) Cretia has cake and much more! I also ordered three pans of yeast rolls which were so scrumptious and perfect with the rest of our dinner. 2) Be sure to check their website and social media for specials and deals. The caramel cakes are the only thing getting me through this quarantine situation! I was able to order my cakes online, then pick them up curbside 2 days later. I love how accommodating Cretia Cakes is during this crazy time!The order of 4 mini caramel cakes is perfect! I love that you can indulge just a little, or split it on date night. I should also mention: They are mouth watering good!! Very rich and caramel-y, so they are named appropriately!Thanks so much Cretia Cakes for the amazing desserts!

I've had two cakes made within a month by Cretia Cakes. Each time the cakes were exceptionally made but with terrible and untimely customer service. Hours of operation are posted on their website but not considered by the business themselves, and up-charges placed on my order during time of pick up that i had no knowledge of. They really need to work on their customer service but they do a fine job. Great jobs on the cakes, but I will not be returning. I will be doing business with other black owned bakeries who respect my time and money.

I came here a few days ago just to try the cupcakes . This place is located in a small plaza on a very busy part of west 86th street. I called ahead of time to make sure they were open because it seem like the few times I drove past they would already be close at like. When I came in I was greeted right away. In the showcase was cheesecake slices, cookies and cupcakes . There was something else but I just can't remember what it was. I went ahead and got all four cupcakes which was a strawberry, chocolate, lemon, and confetti. The total was $7. So each cupcake was about $1.75 a piece . They were good as well. I just wish this place had a bigger variety of flavors. Maybe one day I'll come back and try something else. Ps. This place is very clean. I love all the space and the decor. Nice choice of colors !

This amazing bakery and woman bailed us out of a terrible jam when Long's bakery cancelled the order for my brother's wedding. I called her THE MORNING OF THE WEDDING and she busted out 6 dozen delicious cupcakes for us to pick up by 1pm!! Thank you so much!!!!

Best coconut cake ever. And they got it done for me in record time. My new go to bakery!!!!!

I purchased a 2 tier cake for my wife's birthday after a recommendation from a friend. Cretia Cakes kindly walked me through all the options and we landed on a bottom layer lemon and top layer strawberry with buttercream frosting. The cake was beautiful and absolutely delicious. It was the perfect density, moist, and couldn't have been better. In addition the price was very fair. Don't hesitate to call Cretia Cakes for any of your baking needs. It's our new go to!Simply put my wife said "This is the best birthday cake I've ever had!"

Cretia cakes is AMAZING! I asked for a "Bluey" cake and a blue colored smash cake for my nieces first birthday and they absolutely knocked it out of the park. It look exactly like the photos I sent them AND everyone was talking about how the cake was delicious (which doesn't always happen with cakes that look this good!). I couldn't speak more highly of them and they were SOOO easy to work with and coordinate with too.

I went last minute to have a cake made for my daughter's birthday. They were able to get it done on time. Everyone loved it. It was not just delicious but it was cute too.
