Sitting in the window seats was a lot of fun, as we could see everything that was going on at the bar.

We had very high hopes for a local wine tasting that allowed dogs inside. We really miss dog friendly wineries since moving to Cincinnati. We will probably visit one more time to give them another chance. We were the only customers there on a Saturday afternoon and the service was ridiculous. We had to ask a LOT of questions to even get a tasting flight put together and got no suggestions and no follow up to see if we liked/disliked the wines or wanted a glass or bottle. A man came in half way through a someone who we guessed was the manager? Owner? Came out of the back and had a lively conversation and open a bottle at the counter for him to try (she and the young girl who "helped" us) also partook. ... we were completely ignored and had to actually interrupt them after over 20 minutes to ask for our bill as we had been completely ignored and didn't feel like waiting longer for a glass of wine. The wines we had - a red and white flight - were ok but nothing special. We saw a few bottles we actually like on the shelves but didn't feel like going out of our way to buy anything because of the truly rude service. Again, we may go back (solely because it's dog friendly) to see if we just happened in on a bad day but if this is business as usual I don't know how they're staying in business.

What a lovely place to get your wine fix! We were day tripping in Cincinnati for Christmas Eve and needed to kill some time before our next event. A bar was calling our name, and as wine lovers, Corkopolis was the nearest place to catch our attention. Half bar, half wine shop: You can either browse the selection and purchase some bottles to-go, or sit for a spell and enjoy a flight. If you do, it's a very relaxing, cozy place! Although they weren't serving food the day of our visit, they do typically have cheese boards and such. We did try some of their chips with our wine and they were great. The woman working the bar was very friendly to us and helped with some recommendations. Great wine spot in downtown Cincy!

Seemed like a great place. We were staying across the street at an AirBnb, so it was super convenient. They had an excellent selection and we loved the really local feel the place gave off.We were only able to try it once (due to a tight schedule of fun events) but it was fun. You'd think with our close proximity and my wife's love of all things wine, that we would've been a dozen times that weekend, but it wasn't meant to be.We were the only people there (mid-afternoon on a weekday) at the time, but a bunch of folks came in to grab bottles for the road during our visit. We got to talk to the 2 guys working the shop and did a lot of browsing. Our wine by the glass was tasty and the recommendations were excellent. One of the bottles of port wine my wife discussed with the guys was actually from a cellar she visited in Portugal last summer. They highly recommended it and she felt the same. Great visit!

My company rented their back room for a happy hour, and it was great! It's a very simple, basic room, but the food they provided was even better and more diverse than what we asked for! I decided to go with a rose for my drink, and it was probably one of the best I've had. Service was great and accommodating!

Corkopolis was fantastic! I was meeting an old college friend in the city while in town for business and we wanted to snag a decent drink away from hotel prices. This little gem was within walking distance of my hotel, and they had such a cute selection of boutique wines available. You can also order flights, which was what we did. What I liked about their style was that you can mix and match -- most places do a pre-set white/red/sparkling flight. Here you could pick whatever three wines you wanted from their list that they poured by the glass. Very cool! The atmosphere is casual and inviting, and they also offered some light bites. We didn't order food because we had dinner reservations, but the couple next to us got a cheese tray that looked fabulous! If I were local, I'd probably visit here frequently. I highly recommend checking it out if you like wine.

My date and I made an impromptu stop here one night before seeing a show. I've always loved this location and had the time to pop in for a flight and seized the opportunity. The two ladies that were operating the market were as friendly as could be, leading us to a couple seats in the back and introducing us to their house wine selection and the small plates listed on the menu.Together, we ordered a pair of flights, one red and one white, which would allow us to taste most of their featured selections. They didn't quite get the drinks right, but that just meant one more taste for the both of us, so I was not too displeased with the mix-up.However, I was pretty disappointed at the selection. My date was able to find a Pinot Noir that she enjoyed, but otherwise, we were not too fond of any of the wines we tasted...and I like a lot of different wines. Somehow, they all seemed to taste very similar showcasing an incredibly limited flavor profile. I was amazed that we could have somewhere between 60-80% of their featured wines and not find much difference in the tastes and nothing that I really enjoyed to boot. I don't really understand how that is possible, but my best guess is that the person selecting the wines only really likes a very specific taste in their wine, regardless of the varietal. There just was not much in the vein of subtle yet supple, nor rich and full bodied flavor - all were just sort of dial down the center.I'd be willing to give them another go, but I think if given the option I would probably be more selective in where I choose my wine night.

Came here for happy hour but wouldn't consider it a typical happy hour, there was a very small selection of food and drink. The cheese board was yummy paired with a glass of wine, but I wish they offer more since they have a (relatively higher priced) variety - like a happy hour flight or something!

Went early Saturday afternoon - had great service and a fun wine tasting for $12 (or 5). We also had some cheese - which were all very tasty, almonds, olives, and prosciutto. Liked that they had some things to nibble on with the wine. They are set up like a little market - with to go options of wine and beer.

This is by far my favorite place for a glass of wine downtown. This wine bar has a very clean and trendy atmosphere, yet is still comfortable giving it at at-home feel. In my experience, you walk up to the counter to order your wine. They have a good selection of pours as well as bottles (chilled/unchilled) that you can carry out. The staff is always friendly and you will often find the owners there enjoying a glass of wine. There is a small menu of charcuterie and the like - all of which I've tried and are tasty (but small). They also hold themed wine tastings which I would highly recommend. You get a lot of wine, get to learn a lot about it, and they proved charcuterie to snack on during as well. Biggest plus - they allow dogs inside. Go grab a glass!
