Cooper's Hawk in Avon is probably one of the classiest places the city might have. Steaks and sandwiches are always cooked to perfection and the sides gives off a taste that your taste buds crave more of. I went with the prime rib sandwich with everything on the side so I can eat it at the speed I wanted so I could fully enjoy it. I ate it with pickles ans Mary's mashed potatoes and it was the perfect mix. I couldn't finish it so I took some home and it tasted pretty good heated as well.

The Avon location is our favorite. We went for NYE and had a fantastic meal and wine pairing to kick off the new year. We enjoyed the Thai lettuce wraps, salmon entree and a surf n turf. We paired our dinner with the Cooper's Hawk white wine.The topping on the cake was the service. Our server, Francis was amazing! She knew the menu and wine list well and took excellent care of us. We have been back since and will always ask for Francis. She is our new friend and we told her so! :)

My family and I moved the area recently and we were looking for a nice dinner after a hard day. We ended up at Coopers Hawk. We started with the house made meatballs. These were absolutely delicious. I could have made a meal out of them. So good!I ordered a filet mignon, cooked medium. My steak arrived. Upon the first cut, i found it to be undercooked. I didn't mention it to the waitress because i wouldn't have allowed it to be sent back. I ate around the steak, eating the most cooked areas. What i ate of the steak was good but it would have been better had it been cooked to my liking. My wife ordered a prime beef sandwich. It looked great. She really enjoyed it. We ended with desserts. My wife had the chocolate cake and i ordered the Reese's cookie with ice cream. My wife enjoyed the chocolate cake. The Reese's cookie with ice cream was good as well.Now for the service. The waitress was initially attentive but then she seemed to lose it. I had two drinks (water and a Diet Coke). On three occasions during the meal, both drinks were empty and needing to be refilled. After eating our dinner, it took a while for her to come back and check on us, and she seemed surprised when we asked about desserts. After receiving (and finishing) our desserts, we waited about 15 minutes for her to come back. I saw her in the distance putting several loads of wine glasses away. She eventually came back to get the signed receipt from a neighboring table after they left. I asked her if i could give her my card, since we were ready to go and she said she would go get our bill. We left a short time later. Overall, the food was pretty good but the service disappointed me.

Service was a little slow BUT when he finally came around he was amazing! Brandon was Very knowledgeable of the menu, great recommendations/suggestions, checked on us often. Even gave us extra pretzel bread after he boxed up our food. Wine and food were top tier. Definitely check this place out. As far as the ambiance I loved the playlist and it was a calm environment.

I just finished up my first time at Cooper's for my Uncle's 60th Birthday and it was truly a fantastic meal with exceptional service. Alicia, our server, truly made the evening spectacular! We all had filet's and they were cooked to perfection. We will all be returning the next time we're in Indiana!

Went to Coopers Hawk for Xmas Eve lunch, it wasn't super packed, which was just a loss for everyone else. The meal was excellent, the wine tasting unexpected, and the service was great. You gotta go.

We had a fabulous dinner last Saturday night! We arrived around 5:00 so it initially wasn't too busy. Our server was super cheerful and attentive. The restaurant was clean and pleasantly decorated. As a first time guest, I was a little distracted with the wine store and bar taking over the entrance area, but it made the dining room more secluded. The food was sooooo good (only a slightly undercooked broccolini)!!! Everything from the appetizers to the bread to the meals was fabulous!! I can't wait to go back!! (Please consider expanding into the Louisville area! I promise that you'd do so well!)

Met several friends for lunch today at Coopers Hawk in Avon. The restaurant is always a warm comfortable environment. Our server Dottie did an excellent job taking care of us. The food came out quick and tasted great. We started nibbling right away on the warm pretzel bread with butter. I order the appetizer Thai chicken lettuce wraps, which is more food than I can eat in one setting. It's a very well rounded dish and comes with 3 yummy sauces. I definitely recommend this.

Cooper Hawk is a must try! You can dress up or dress casual. Service is always friendly and very helpful if you have any questions! They offer recommendations that we wouldn't have thought of originally. The drunken shrimp was very good. The only thing i would say is there wasn't a lot of shrimp, so definitely keep that in mind if you want to share with the whole table. The main course was very yummy!!We ended with a wine tasting as well which is a great price! We have a couple of friends that are wine club members which seems worth all of its perks. We enjoy visiting Cooper Hawk.

First time trying Copper's Hawk and we were left sorely disappointed and unsatisfied. We had reservations to sit at the patio; we were sat at a dirty table, it got wiped down while we sat, then we had to ask again for it to be wiped down properly because there were still sticky parts. We believe our server was having a bad day because she dropped our knife and bread, she told us she'd get us a new one - forgot then we had to remind her. The dark chocolate martini was tasty and the pbj old fashioned was not a quite thoroughly enjoyed by my dinner date.The candied bacon and artisan cheese plate was aesthetically pleasing; we found ourselves reaching back for the pistachio and honeycomb. We also requested to sample the wines that were recommended on the menu to go well with our meals, she forgot - we asked another server and she brought them out as we were more than halfway through dinner...leaving us not buying a glass of wine with dinner. I expected much more from the Chicken Francese as it was the Chef Recommendation. There's a discrepancy on the menu and online menu with which wine it was supposed to be paired with; the in-store menu says it's the Côtes du Rhône Blanc and the online says Côtes du Rhône Rouge. I was expecting a white wine per the dining menu, but was served a red one, so we were quite confused and once again, disappointed. On a happy note, my partner enjoyed his gnocchi carbonara very much!The Salted Carmel Crème Brûlée was very soft and didn't blow us away. The s'more budino was better but nothing incredibly special. All-in-all, we live close so we might be back again for a lunch or so, but it's nothing I'm going to rave about to anyone that they have to try it.
