First time trying C & C. When you walk in, the atmosphere is very cool, darker tones, hip establishment. It's not very big which is nice as it's more intimate. Our server was great though I could tell she was busy as there was a time between greeting our party of 8 and taking our drinks that took a little longer than usual. *would love to see a mocktail menu added at some point although our server did recommend a Paloma (sweet and tart grapefruit based drink). Good overall. Serving bowl for the soup was really little. Not sure if worth the price. All of our sides were a hit. Our table got the Mac n cheese (don't let the jalepenos scare you. My husband hates them but liked them in this). We also got the mashed potatoes, drunken mushrooms and sweet potatoes. I went with the salmon. Really good. Hubby got the scallops. Dessert was Choc cake. I'm not a choc cake person but this one was yummy. Chocolate chip cookies courtesy of the chef at the end of the meal was a nice touch but we were already sweeted out.

Had reservations for Fri 1/10/25 to celebrate the Hub's bday. Originally for a party of 6 at 6:30, but we turned into a party of 12. When I called for a bigger table (about 2 weeks beofre the day), the manager Matt said they could take a group that large at 8:30. Yay!Well, that Friday turned out to be the day we got 10" of snow. And, although we live fairly close, most of our dinner party was coming from the Southside, Avon, and even Bargerville. So our party of 12 ended up just being me & the hubs. We kept the restuarant updated throughout the day, and they were very nice about it. (Turns out, our waitress told us about 80% of tables cancelled that night becuase of the weather.) So, with just the two of us, they said come anytime, to we got there about 7:30.We were seated in a little booth on the bar side. At the time, we only saw 1-2 other parties in the dining area. The decor and atmosphere is dark and cozy. (Dark enough, in fact, that phones can be helpful reading the menus. And my food pics are darker than normal becuase of the lighting.) The offerings are $$$ but the service and the overall vibe is much more casual. That being said, our server was friendly and talked to us about some of her favorites from the menu. On her recommendation, we got the crab dip. Very creamy and lots of crab on top. We also got the bourbon beet salad, a pretty dish with two types of beets and pears with goat cheese and pecan streusal.Hubs is an old fashioned fan, so he got their Cooperage. I had a glass of cab. I ordered the braised short ribs, tender slices that came with cheddar polenta and crisp burssell sprouts. This was plentiful enough that Itook hallf home. Hubs had the chilean sea bass, a nice sizeable piece over a tomatoe buerre. He was in heaven with it. We also got a side of drunken mushrooms. Dessert was coffee and their bourbon chocolate cake, beutifully layered and light. Everything was done to perfection.Dinner came to $198 before gratuity. Would definitely be an enjoyable evening to reconienve the larger group for a nice meal. #yum #ReviewsByRL

We wanted SO badly to have an amazing dining experience here but we left feeling a little 'meh'. As others have mentioned in reviews, if this restaurant wants to compete with other higher end places they have work to do especially with service. We had a reservation for 4 around 8pm a couple days before Christmas. We were greeted but the host certainly wasn't wearing what I thought a host would for an expensive restaurant. We were seat at a 4 top that was 2 tables put together and literally BY the cold door/waiting area. My view for this $$$$ meal was the thermostat and the walk/entering people (see photo of view). The waitress greeted us and asked for drink orders. They advertise as a bourbon place but the guys didn't really see anything "fancy" about their bourbon (mainly just rum of the mill selections) so neither even ordered a drink. And side note- the font on the drink menu is horrible. It was certainly a challenge to read.?.?. I told the waitress it was our first time there (as we were staying at the menus)...and she had no reply. Just stood. Didn't try to update anything. After silence, I finally asked about how the sides were served and portions. Again, at an upscale restaurant there needs to be more assertiveness, helpful advice and info provided. We had to pull it out of her. (Again, I just wanted to leave!) However, while looking over the menu the table was so wobbly we had to hold onto our glasses when we leaned on the table. I was not impressed at this point and wanted to leave...but we asked and they moved us to another table. 100% improvement. We finally ordered an app and our meals. We got the French bread. It was nothing fancy. It was good...but too much cutting and just plain with butter. Meh. Now the steaks...they were FANTASTIC. Cooked perfectly. 2 had NY Strip and 2 had filets. They were melt in your mouth type of steaks!!!! Sides were solid & pretty good but didn't blow out socks off. We had creamed spinach, Mac & cheese, and mashed potatoes. We only had waters and they were refilled pretty regularly how we, paying this much money, just seemed like the waitress needed to be more polished & engaged. It's like the restaurant wants to be fancy but we just had too many issues. We left a little dejected but...At least the steaks were on point. Price wise, we thought for the "overall dining experience" they are a little too high. We go to other steakhouses in Indy/Fishers that are similar in price but their service is boatloads above C&C. So we didn't mind paying their prices but C&C just isn't in the league with them. Steaks 5/5Sides 4/5Crème brûlée 5/5Everything else 3/5Overall I gave 3/5 because I doubt we would go back.

My husband and I made reservations and had dinner at Cooper & Cow on a Friday night. Cute little place with very attentive staff. We started off with the French bread and crap dip for appetizers, they were both delicious! I had the Midnight martini that was really good. If you like coffee, you will love it! I ordered the bacon & potato soup that was really good as well. I ordered the chicken with mashed potatoes for dinner, while my husband had a steak and Mac & cheese. To end the night, we went with the bananas foster and it was amazing! We had a great dinner and a wonderful experience here and will definitely be back!

We went on Friday evening around 6pm. It started empty but by 8pm all tables were filled. Our waiter was very attentive and service was great overall. Food was excellent. We really enjoyed NY strip steaks. Flavor was good and cooked to perfection. Background music was easy on conversation. It's a great spot for a date night.

Had a lovely dinner here! Love the cozy moody ambiance, giving haunted mansion vibes. The cocktails are very good; ordered the old fashion twice (one of the best I've had)! For appetizers, we had the baked Brie and the lobster cocktail - both were very yummy (although I would suggest a softer bread). Ordered the center cut filet for dinner and was really good quality beef - perfectly cooked and seasoned. For sides, we had the broccolini and drunken mushrooms. The whole meal was a real treat! Would definitely come back! Wonderful for a romantic dinner with loved ones.

The service great. Our waitress was so sweet and helpful and gave her honest opinion on the menu options. We ordered the short rib croquette (needed seasoning but was ok), the potato soup (very white cheddar heavy) which we didn't like, the salmon (very good), and sea bass which was also good. The restaurant was clean and romantic and I'd go back again.

Friendly greeting and walked into a dark & cozy atmosphere. We did an early dinner reservation at 5:15 on a Sunday and were the only ones there (for 10-15 mins or so) Cody had great recommendations. My old fashioned was a solid drink and my husband enjoyed his JD 10 and 12 year (at a good price too)The Arancini as a start could be up there with the best appetizer we've ever had. Unique flavors and perfect crispness. Again, Cody was on top of service. Friendly, attentive & good suggestionsI opted for the short rib with polenta and Brussel sprouts. It tasted like elevated comfort food and it was perfect for a Sunday dinner. My husband really enjoyed his filet and it was cooked to perfection. We got the jalapeño Mac n cheese, which was very good, but I wish there was triple the amount of jalapeño. They were pickled jalapeños so no spice, but the flavor was great and we wanted more (just a suggestion ). Honestly I would pay for extra on top next time.We ended with complimentary birthday dessert and opted for the key lime pie. Beautiful plating and fresh flavors. Although a bit tart all around for my taste- I could appreciate the flavors. Solid dining experience. I can definitely see us coming back soon in the future. A good addition to Fisher's dining.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this establishment and was immediately captivated by its romantic ambiance. The low lighting and smooth jazz playing in the background created a truly enchanting atmosphere. I highly recommend it for a romantic evening or a special occasion. To start off, the cocktails were expertly crafted and well balanced. I personally enjoyed the Bees Knees cocktail; it was absolutely perfect in every sip.Moving on to the appetizers, they were a highlight of the meal. I indulged in quite a few and was not disappointed. The crab cake stood out with its delicious flavor, and the crab dip, served with chips, was exceptional. If you're a fan of raw sushi, the tuna stack is a must-try. However, the Arancini fell a bit short for me. On the other hand, I cannot stress enough how delicious the Bourban bacon was. Trust me, you won't want to miss out on that! For the main course, I opted for the braised short rib. While it was enjoyable, I found that its flavors were slightly more muted compared to the outstanding appetizers. For my next visit, I think I'll explore their selection of steaks, hoping for a more robust taste experience. To conclude the meal, I treated myself to the champagne sorbet, and it was the perfect ending. It offered a light and refreshing sweetness without being overly heavy. I left the restaurant feeling satisfied and already planning my next visit.I must commend the exceptional service I received during my dining experience. The staff went above and beyond, earning a well-deserved 10/10 rating. With such a positive experience, I'm eager to return and explore more tantalizing options from their menu.

Walked into Cooper as it was an hour before closing the waitress didn't seem to welcoming. I asked if she is still sitting she paused and said they are closing in 40 minutes and to sit at the bar. So the service was wow that's not what you would expect. Ryan the bartender was quiet initially as he was busy then was pretty good after settling down offering menu and drinks. The food was good he recommended the Australian Wagyu and it was good and he was right you don't get that too often. The crab cakes was really good and chowder was ok. I'd come back for the food and not exactly the service or try not so late. But my flight arrived late and I had limited choices.
