Cool Creek is another park which is my go to spot between Carmel and Westfield on the North side. While the hike itself is pretty easy, it's a lovely space to walk, and just spend time near the small creeks and enjoy the open event area. Lots of swings, chairs and seating spots brim throughout the park making at even better spot to just hang around on a good weather day. The public does a good job maintaining the park and I absolutely recommend Cool Creek!

A few friends and I have made our way through COVID exploring parks throughout Central Indiana for chilly walks and fresh air. This was my first visit to Cool Creek Park on the north side of Carmel. You'll find ample parking, a large kids play area, s handful of trail paths that lead over the creek and easy accessibility to the highway. The creek was noticeably clear and offered a very peaceful setting. The only reason I held back on the fifth star is that the trails are not clearly marked and many seem to lead to nowhere after a very short walk. I can understand why this would be a popular spot to stretch your legs given how close it is to the ac

My husband and I are trying to make an effort to visit a different park each weekend this winter. I use to live in the apartment complex right across the street but for some reason never visited. In the past, I have walked the paved road loop and that's about it. This was weekend, we decided to explore some of the trails this parks has to offer. It was definitely muddy with all of the melting snow but good thing we came prepared. :-) It was peaceful and absolutely beautiful. We also saw a ton of kids sledding down one of the hills. Good to know for another future snow storm Lastly, this park also has tons of shelters to use with plenty of parking spots. I bet it would be pretty private once all of the trees get their leaves in the spring and summer.

We have been doing a lot of walking during the quarantine and this has been our favorite park to date. It's such a big park hidden right off 31.Once things open back up there is a huge and amazing playground for kids at the entrance. Beyond that there is a nature center and a performing pavilion with a large grassy areas for picnics. There are 2 main trails but they were marked very well so we just followed some other people. The trails were mostly mud or rock but felt adventurous through the creeks and bridges. We even saw some deer! One part of the trail had some hills so we got a decent work out. Will definitely be back.

This park has a fairly large (and new) playground for the kids. There is also a workout area (with equipment) for adults next to the playground.

This is one of my favorite places to spend a few hours at on a nice sunny day. The park offers good walking trails to get a hike in with the family. They also have benches and covered tables to picnic at while you're visiting the park.

This park is wonderful! I used to come here as a kid and was obsessed with the rainbow slide. I thought it was so magical, especially because it's the first thing you spot when you go around the bend. This park is cool because you don't expect there to be a hidden park in such an industrialized, strip-mall-filled area. There are woods for you to walk around in, an outdoor amphitheater, a park for kids and the best part - adult outdoor workout equipment. It's almost like a playground for adults next to the kid's one. You can watch your kids while doing your own fun workout. While I don't have kids yet, I imagine that this is ideal and I personally love seeing all ages being represented in a park! There is a nature center on the premises that is interesting, as well as a lot of free parking. Go let off some steam and explore!

Cool Creek Park is a beautiful nature park with wonderful hiking trails and bike paths for all to enjoy. I came here for a live summer concert as part of their live concert series, and was pleasantly surprised with the grounds and the park. It is a beautiful scenery with the grounds and trees, and the concert had excellent acoustics with the music. I have not been to the nature center, but I'm sure it is a lovely facility. I have not been to the park itself to walk or enjoy the scenery, but I hope to do so very soon. It looks like a beautiful place to have a family reunion BBQ or an event.

Wonderful little park. Facilities and trails are well maintained. Like to walk both roads and trails. Only a mile or so doing one loop unless you overlap. Very pleasant park.
