Rockstar date night dinner location!! From the service, to the wine, to the food everything was spot on! The focaccia bread with oil was to start and free. The Cabernet by the glass was dry and delicious. The Caesar salad is a big portion and ice cold with amazing dressing. I got the short rib gnocchi which was so savory and unique. It was like a pot roast and a pasta dish married. My husband got the bolognese and loved it but liked the gnocchi better. We finished the night with tiramisu and it was a big portion and the perfect end to the dinner. Very creamy and chocolatey! Will be going back!! One thing I will add is the short rib gnocchi did not heat up well the next day so I wouldn't recommend taking it home!

We were looking for a late dinner on Saturday night and this was one of the few places open until 11PM! It was still busy @ 9:45 and we wanted to sit in the bar area. Service was excellent, efficient and helpful but not intrusive. We shared the tomato & mozzarella salad, and also shared the fusilli pasta w/chicken and mushroom special, and gelato affogato for dessert. We also had wine- the special for the day and a classic Chianti. Bread was also served. We enjoyed the ambiance of this place and the meal. The pasta dish was not our favorite but it was a generous portion, hot and prepared as described. We will come back and remember the late night hours!

Do you have a really ugly date coming up? Bring her to Convivio. Not because she doesn't deserve good food, it's just that you won't be able to see her in this shadowy Italian realm. We kicked off Jackson's belated birthday dinner with a bottle of white that I can't remember and the Polpette Al Sugo. You could be very COVID symptomatic and still taste the veal in these meatballs. Potent stuff really.A thought - how many different servers could you persuade to grate cheese over your pasta? I'll set the line at 3.5 for any betting foodies. The reason I ask is that our servers were generous to offer from multiple angles. Look at that dairy generosity! My toe was dipped into the nightly special seafood pasta. Beyond my never ending quest for ridiculous amounts of sauce, the noodles stood tall. To be fair you could throw shrimp into anything and it's serviceable.Would I return? For sure. Would I rush to return? Not so sure.Lastly, whoever was smacking the domestic macro beer over this cuisine is an absolute sweat. Game recognize game.

The first thing to say is WOW. The atmosphere is so intimate and beautiful. From the lighting to the cocktails, you'll be impressed. Our server was amazing and I wish I'd remembered his name. He was great at helping us pick out what we're eating. Everything was scratch made which made it harder because I LOVE Italian food. I couldn't miss out on something delicious. We will definitely be back for more.

I have been to this location a few times, and it has yet to disappoint. The service has been great and quick and the food is always wonderful! We went yesterday and started with bread and oil -- LOVELY! I then got a Caesar salad, which is big enough for two, or a main course, but I would highly recommend it as it's delicious and the parmesan cheese is abundant! YUM! This is the second time I have ordered the Rigatoni Funghi Salsiccia, and I am so glad I did! It has a heaping of sausage and mushrooms and the pasta itself is cooked to perfection! It's full of flavor and very filling! J got the Pasta Special which was great, I can't remember what it was called -- but I would describe it as a Roast but make it a pasta dish! Short Rib braised beef, green noodles, an almost gravy-like sauce. YUM!!!You have got to try this place out and be sure to ask for extra bread!

We had the most wonderful experience with friends last night. I want to give a shout out to Kelly, our server who is also a sommelier-it was like private dining in Sonoma with our own wine expert. Ask for Kelly!!

I wanted to love it but it fell flat for me. Would really be a 3.75 ;)Vibe: not much of one, really but I didn't mind that. It was simple and tastefully done. Just no wow factor with lighting, wallpaper, seating, etc. We initially were sitting at a table then I saw a booth open and asked to be moved. Is that terrible? Call me a both queen I suppose. The booth was much more comfortable, cozy, and intimate because they line the perimeter of the restaurant. I'd request a booth in my reservation! Yes, definitely make a reservation. It completely elevated the experience and felt like private dining since we were at the very end. Service: Excellent! Louise took wonderful care of us from the time we were greeted through the time we paid. Attentive but not over bearing. Friendly yet genuine. 10/10 for him!Food: It is a mix but I think that's more because of my expectation going into it. That's on me! I had high hopes of a next level delicious Italian meal.I got the fried risotto thinking it would be like an arancini. No. It was lots of coating and not much risotto. The tortellini was freshhhhh like they had just filled and boiled those gems. Those were delish! The pumpkin dish lacked flavor and unity -- lots of delicious ingredients -- prosciutto, butternut squash, a cream sauce. It just has a bit of an identity crisis. My friend doesn't eat pork and they wouldn't put it in the side for our other friend to share which was also bizarre to me. We were going to share a chocolate cake but they ran out. James, the manager, comped us some cocoa dusted gelato dessert that's not on the menu but Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, you better secretly request it. It was the highlight of the meal! Sooo delicious and fun. So kind of James to go above and beyond for us!Cost: What you anticipate for an elevated restaurant. Dishes are $22-$40. Will I return? If someone suggests it and wants to go. Otherwise I won't be looking to go back any time soon.

Everything went well with our visit to this restaurant. We dined there for our 15th wedding anniversary. This restaurant set the mood with it's pure elegant decor and classy feel. And then there was food!!! OMG, the bread, Caesar salad, Mussels Pepata, Filetto, Ragu di Agnello, Tiramisu and Torta di Cioccolato was DELICIOUS!!!!! Now for the cherry on top...Service..we had Ms. Alissa as our waitress...she gave us an awesome experience and very knowledgeable of everything on the menu...Convivio Indy fell nothing short of a 5 star experience....thank you for taking part and adding flavor to an awesome wedding anniversary!!!

Cozy restaurant w/thoughtful servers & delicious food. Went w/some friends Sat evening (we made reservation). The focaccia bread was crispy on the outermost crust, then delicate in the center, & served w/some wonderful tomato something or other We ordered the burrata w/breadsticks, some cocktails & wine & chatted at length. Then we got our entrees & each was delicious. The pansotti was lovely little pasta purses filled w/cheese & greens & covered in a creamy sauce. The tagliatelle Convivio was an explosion of flavor w/a bit of a kick. And the Barbatelle had a beautiful combination of earthy, sweet & creamy flavors (I subbed ricotta for the goat cheese). Our server was helpful & fun & we had a great time!

An intimate space which perhaps was a bit overwhelmed by our boisterous Monday birthday dinner but they managed quite well recommending various dishes, and an excellent wine for our first time at Convivio. The staff works well together, but our waiter, Horatio, was particularly charming and very adept at the pacing for our celebration. We loved the calamari, the beet salad was spectacular, and the butternut ravioli entree was divine. We shared a plate of the meatballs (yum!) and the squid ink pasta as well. They were generous with the goodie bits of shrimp, etc., to make that a great item to share. With a complimentary tiramisu dessert and coffees it was a fabulous night! So glad we went, and can't wait to try it again. Thank you for a lovely evening!
