Confectioneiress Cupcakes & Sweets

This place is tucked away but the cupcakes are amazing. Must try and great daily selection. We had a variety of flavors but love the chocolate cupcakes and cookie and crème. Delicious.

I have been a long time customer of the Confectioneress (they even made my 13 yr olds birthday cake when he was 2!). I have placed many orders over the years with no problems and excellent customer service. I refer everyone here because it is (was) so amazing.Ownership changed last year and there have been some bumps (stale macarons, not friendly staff when I walked in)- but I let it slide and continued to order. Today I walked in to pick up my Valentine's Day order and was told they did not have the order and it must have gotten lost from after I placed the order and was never fully processed. I said "ok, sounds good- do you have any more left to just purchase"? They told me no even though there were some just sitting out- those were not available. I asked "any other solutions" and they said no. So I walked out. I understand the situation but there was almost negative customer service in this situation.As someone who only shops small, this is disconcerting. Sadly will have to find another go to bakery.

Ordered a vanilla cake from their website and got an email confirmation the next day. The cake was DELICIOUS. There were 7 of us and we only ate half the cake! It is a great size for the price and I will 100% use them again. Highly recommend!!

Anytime we are looking for a special treat - we come to the Confectioneiress in Zionsville for tasty cupcakes. I believe they are under new ownership starting in 2024 - same great cupcakes and my family also love the shooters. We came by on Saturday to pick up some treats for my daughter's 15th birthday. Service was quick and easy. It's NBA Allstar game coming up, so they had basketball themed chocolate dipped Oreos and cake pops. They were so cool, I had to take a picture! I have never sat inside with a cop of coffee, so can't say much about that experience, but if you want to get some treats to go, it's a great place to swing by!

Friends gave me a gift box of their cupcakes and other sweets. The taste and freshness was amazing! What a gift to have this bakery in Zionsville ! Barry E

Best cupcakes I've ever had...and I've had more than my fair share. The cake was moist, the fillings, and the toppings were delicious. I had the Turtle Cupcake and the Coconut Lime Cupcake, both were simply divine. I will definitely be going back and next time, I'm getting more than 2 cupcakes. Everything looked great, the shop was clean and neat. I live pretty far so I hadn't heard of them before, but I won't forget them!! Make the trip to Zionsville and definitely go get some sweet treats from the Confectioneiress!!!

Half price cupcake day on New Year's Eve?! Heck yes! We drove straight to Bites by Confectioneiress and realized that it has closed and has moved into this location (only four minutes away so no problem!). I picked up two chocolate, two vanilla and two pink champagne cupcakes that looked amazing and our friends loved. I also picked up a homemade egg, bacon, and cheese pop tart pastry that the two young girls at the counter warmed up for me. The inside was still freezing cold when I got to my car and it was pretty salty, so I would probably only stick to the desserts next time.The inside of this shop is super cute and they have other assorted desserts such as macarons, cookies and cake. They have a big glass case of cupcakes, and the earlier you go, the more options they'll be. I'll be back!

Disappointed in these cupcakes after reading all the reviews. The frosting is super sweet and the chocolate base cupcakes were dry. Tried once but won't need to again.

I saw their advertisement for 1/2 priced cupcakes on Instagram and decided to try it out! Great location with easy parking. Plenty of seating if you'd like to sit and enjoy in their store, however I opted for to go! Cupcakes were delicious

My first time at Confectioneiress was definitely disappointing. I ordered macarons and a specialty cake for Halloween, drove to Zionsville from downtown Indy to pick it up, and unfortunately, they gave me the wrong flavored cake. I had no idea until they called hours later to tell me of the mix-up. I did appreciate the call; their customer service was top notch! Since we were planning to take the cake to family and were not going to be able to drive back up there for the correct cake, they offered a 50% discount which was kind, but did not seem like enough since the cake was a $70 special order weeks in advance. I am not sure if it was just that the flavor was something we would never order or if the cake fell flat, but we were underwhelmed and disappointed. I hope to give them a second chance for a future order because the scone I had for breakfast on my drive home was divine.
