Colosseo Pizzeria

Learned of this place thanks to Fox59. It's hidden within a narrow space amongst the middle of a strip mall off 126th and 37 (near where The Ram Brew Pub used to be). When you walk inside, they have maybe 8 tables with all but 1 being high tops. The gentleman (not sure if he is the owner) behind the counter is extremely friendly and courteous as he mans the phone, communicates with the kitchen, and serves both those at the tables as well as those doing pick-up.While they offer appetizers, salads, and pastas, we decided to try 3 of their pizzas, which are all 12" Neapolitan style similar to Tre Mori or the Songbird Social House. We ordered the Ortolana [$15 - Mozzarella, Peppers, Artichoke, Onions, Garlic, Fresh Roma Tomato, Signature Tomato Sauce, Basil], Estiva [$16 - Mozzarella, Shaved Parmesan Cheese, Organic Baby Arugula, Fresh Roma Tomato, Signature Tomato Sauce (Extra Virgin Olive Oil], Black Pepper), and Quattro Formaggi [$16 - Mozzarella, Asiago, Mascarpone, Gorgonzola, Signature Tomato Sauce]. We also each had a Mini Cannoli ($2.50 - Crispy Pastry Shell Filled with Sweet Ricotta Cheese Filling and Chocolate Chips).We agreed that we liked all of them, although we each had different favorites from the three. My favorite was the flavor combination of the Estiva. We also agreed that we preferred the pizzas here to the other places I mentioned above, but the other two probably have better atmospheres if you are dining in. We took our food to Peace Water Winery in Fishers, which was a little more than 5 minutes away.

Recent trip was even better. The pizzas came out perfectly baked and topped. The service was excellent as well.

Parmigiana pizza had a great flavor. The sauce and the crust were the standouts. The crust was not chewy, thin, and the sauce was well seasoned. The flavors of the pastas were good, but the cacio e pepe was too creamy and saucy for us. Great to have a pizza option like this in the area. The employee helping us was so friendly, checking in on us and ensuring we had a good dining experience. The dining area is small with about six tables inside, but provided a quaint dining experience.

We had heard great things, but stopped here for our first time recently. We called ahead and ordered to go. The food was ready super quickly. They were very nice on phone and super welcoming when I walked in to picked up the order. The inside was very clean, even though he said a large party had just left. I only got a cheese pizza, since I am pretty basic, but it was very good! I don't like when pizzas are cooked too much and have dark bottoms, but this one did not have much of that at all. The ingredients all were very fresh. Overall, it was very good and we will definitely be back.

A little Italy in Fishers! A small but mighty restaurant delivered the goods! Our waiter, Ulysses, was charming and very attentive. He knew all about the fresh ingredients. We started off with the calamari. It was so fresh and tender. The fries were hot and crispy. The pizzas are 12 inches so we ordered 2. The Amanti Della Carne (meat lovers) and the Parmigiana (eggplant parm). BEST pizza we've had in a long time. Start to finish, five stars for service, knowledge, and food. We will DEFINITELY be returning.

The food this place is pushing out is top tier! Not to mention the young man working the front is incredibly kind and well spoken. Two pizzas and two salads was perfect for a family of 3. Can't beat the price for such quality food.

The food here is fantastic and the host Ulysses was so attentive and friendly. It felt like we were the only guests in the room. The caprese salad was wonderful, the Diavola pizza was authentically Italian with fresh ingredients, and the crust was the best I've had in the Fishers area with a bubbly light and crispy authentic kneaded crust. Finally the mini canolli was absolute perfection. Coloseo also has various pasta dishes which we'll try next visit. You'll find Coloseo off E 126th and Enterprise.We all want small family restaurants to thrive..give Coloseo a try...you won't be disappointed

After being seated, we heard a lady in for some carry out boasting about how they had the only pizza she's ever had that tasted like Italy. She wasn't wrong. Really good food with simple, high quality ingredients got a 5 star from us. Top it off with the mini cannolis from Ulysses and you got a great night. We'll be back.

I wish I would have taken pictures to share! We started with the garlic cheese bread with a marinara sauce on the side. The sauce is simple but has excellent flavor. Next, we ordered the meat pizza. The crust is light, the four meats are sliced thin and not overwhelming and the mozzarella was melty and fresh. I am not normally a meat pizza lover, but this was tremendous. Last we enjoyed a complimentary mini cannoli served on raspberry sauce which was the perfect end to this meal. The restaurant is small with 8-10 tables and they offer carryout. The gentleman who took care of us was knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. You are not going to find better pizza in the area and the prices are affordable. We will be back soon.

We have been looking for a new pizza place for a while and have tried many of the popular local options. They aren't very consistent anymore so we decided to try Colosseo. We ordered two pizzas - both had a perfect crust. The pizza isn't overly "doughy" and the sauce is a nice compliment to the quality ingredients used on the pizzas. Shortly after we placed our order, we got a call back letting us know they were out of one ingredient we selected. It wasn't an issue for us, but they gave us free cannolis for the issue. Our kids highly approved on the sausage pizza and cannolis! We picked up our food and the staff is extremely nice. The restaurant is small, but does have room for dining in. Great food, great people. Our new go to pizza place!
