Coco Bongo Mariscos & Mexican Restaurant

The drinks here are just as impressive as the food. Whether you're indulging in one of their handcrafted cocktails or opting for a refreshing non-alcoholic beverage, every drink is made with the freshest ingredients and an undeniable amount of care. You can tell they take their time to ensure that the drink is not just a beverage but an experience. The combination of exceptional food, carefully curated drinks, and a warm, inviting atmosphere makes this place a must-go. The prices are more than reasonable and everyone is so friendly. We've visited a few times, and this is one of my favorite hidden gems!

I could have given a much higher rating. But the most disappointing part is that the manager/owner depended solely on her two actively working wait staff to take care of everyone in the restaurant that was quickly beginning to fill. There were other workers busy on their phones. We had been wanting to try this place so many times. We are that kind of patron that will wait many years to see if a place survives before we try it. Sad but true.When we walked in we told her it was just two of us for lunch. She didn't speak English and quickly nabbed another waitress who was fluent in English. Although very kind--wouldn't have let a little language barrier stop us from enjoying. It still took us about twenty minutes to get the waitress to return to take our drink orders. My husband was getting impatient and went to the bar to order. Once again, the staff were just sitting busy on their cell phones. When our drinks arrived, we were impressed by the beautiful cocktail! We were also presented with a soup that had a shrimp floating in it and some tortilla chips. Even though, it wasn't exactly soup weather outside, we ate it and it was quite tasty. Another thirty minutes passed before our lunch of tacos were served. They were actually very good! But after only one, I was in need of a box! The food and cocktails were very good. It just took FOREVER to get our drinks, food and check. The sad part was that the restaurant wasn't even full! I couldn't imagine if it had been! We would be willing to try again in hopes of a different dining experience!There is only one waitress who so The cocktails were amazingly delicious!

This place has so much hype and not sure why honestly. We came in on a Sunday right before noon. Ordered and the food sucked! Everything is overly salty! The ceviche we ordered literally looked like it was days old and had a refrigerator taste to it. So nasty, not fresh at all!!!! I will never return to Coco Bongo! The guacamole was the only thing edible.

Overall experience was good! Drinks and food was very good! There was a bit of a language barrier since the menu is in Spanish only, but we were able to use translation on our phones. Music could of been turned down a little bit too. Will be back.

If you are looking to waste your time and money this is the spot!! Ha... By far the WORST service! PEOR servicio!!!! La comida estaba ASQUEROSA! Frijoles ácidos como si les pusieran un chingo de limón! A lo bien! Raza este lugar vale madre

Horrible service,my server was rushing me,I asked for cheese dip they didn't have any,I asked for 1 single taco for my kid all she said was we only sell them in order of three,I asked for a Mojito she said she was gonna try to make it because the bartender was off that day,I ended up leaving this place. I didn't even got to try their food but I don't think I would give it a second chance.

Honestly the prices and the food you get is on point. Most likely servers will know little to no English but the seafood it's great. Loud music and full of flavor!

We gave it a shot, chicken tacos, ceviche, chicken nuggets, shrimp, and other food as well. Sucks to say food had no flavor ,it was over cooked. Only up side were the chicken nuggets and fries. The service was okay they took our drinks forgot about mine until I asked. The table set up and chairs were dirty. They had a singer/ karaoke which I don't personally mind. My main gripe was the food definitely do not recommend If you are hungry and looking to have a good meal, sorry to say.

PLEASE READ! Don't even want to give this place one star! Went in and all of the servers ignored us - no they weren't busy. Finally a bus boy sat us. Every server saw us sitting there and was ignored by every single one. We weren't even acknowledged or given menus. While we waited 10+ minutes all the servers stood at the bar talking to each other. As two parties walked in they were seated and served asap. We still even gave them another 5 minutes to come over and they never did so we finally just left! My older dad was so excited to try this and left upset. Please do not waste your time and gas going here!
