I recommend trying the Cheeseburger and the staff is amazing. Good Vibes! It was a very chill environment.

Food was ok, the wings were good, service was definitely good. I was at the bar. No customers, hardly based on I was in on thanksgiving break near campus. Bartender was on point, her name was Kayla. Down to earth and knows how to host. The restaurant is definitely bigger than what I thought and clean.

Coaches used to be booming when it opened ~15 years ago. The food used to be hot, the vibe bumping, and the service great. Fast forward 15 years. 5 people in the place at 6 pm on a Friday. No vibe. TVs old and small. Only had canned beers. Bar service was fine. Can't imagine it would still be open if not attached to the Hilton Garden Inn. Very depressing place to be.

Second stop on our progressive food tour! We ordered all the food! Coaches got their game on with some not so average sandwhiches and appetizers! This is kinda perfect for a college town bites and just a quick stroll from campus.Coaches' is keeping it classy, sticky, and sweet with their Teriyaki glazed Salmon. Check out their @devourbtown CATCH OF THE DAY MENU, now through April 1st. An oldie but a goodie, the bacon cheeseburger, loaded with veg, simmered & saucey, sandwiched between a sweet roll. After eating this big bite of heaven, you won't know if your coming or going. The Aloha is a tender juicy chicken sammie with thick ham and grilled pineapple that will have your taste buds at a luau. If veg is more your style check out their field of greens devour special featuring this big and tasty Portobello burger! We also got the tenderloin. This baby will barely fit on the camera and its pretty delicious too! Loving these sweet rolls for all the sammies!I was a fan overall. Bar food is not my choice of cuisine, but if I happen to be back in this area and needing a quick bite or a group after the game, this is the perfect place!

Had the fish and chips, . . not bad for frozen Cod but small portions and big price. This restaurant is average and will serve decent food at a slightly higher price than many of the other restaurants around. There are several better options within walking distance. Only time I would recommend this restaurant is if you're staying at the hotel and don't have 10-15 minutes to walk somewhere else.

Run away fast. Because it's attached to the Hilton Garden Inn I thought I'd give it a shot. 5 people at the bar and it took 17 minutes for anyone to acknowledge I was there. The people next to me had been waiting for 40 minutes to get wings. I would just say I'm shocked they can keep the doors open with the terrible serve and overpriced limited menu. Plenty of other places in the square right there that will far exceed the service and food.

Went to a beer school event this past week. Super cool! Local beer samples & awesome food.

Went to this place tonight. Got there with a party of 8 people at 9:01 pm, thinking we would watch the NBA and NHL playoffs. We noted their posted hours online were that they close at 10:00 pm. Doors were locked. When I inquired, I was informed that management made the decision to close an hour early because they had less customers than staff. That checks out - the last time I went there was during the College Football National Championship game earlier this year. I thought in a Big Ten college town with two Big Ten teams in the national championship game, it might be busy. There were 3 other people in the entire restaurant. This appears to be a zombie restaurant that is on its last legs. Food and drinks were actually pretty good. Staff was very nice. But apparently nobody goes to this place and their management response is to intermittently shut down to mitigate losses. Seems like an obvious death spiral. Fool me twice . . . you can't get fooled again.

I'm staying at the Hilton Garden Inn. Coaches is attached to the hotel. It was a cold night so I decided to just try this place despite the mediocre reviews. I wish I hadn't. The woman in the bar was pleasant and put a game on that I wanted to watch. She also brought us drinks quickly. A male server came over and asked if we wanted food. We ordered and then WAITED and waited for our food. We were watching a game but after a long while he came and said that the food was running late because of a big party. The food finally came and it was just average at best, probably below average. He asked if we needed anything and I said ketchup. However he never brought any over. I finally just tracked down a bottle a few tables over and grabbed it. There are a lot of great food options in Bloomington, do yourself a favor and try someplace else.

Quite arguably the worst dining experience I've ever had. We waited an hour for our food in a completely empty restaurant (less than 10 patrons total). The chicken sandwiches we ordered were terrible quality and were $11. The chicken patties didn't even fit 1/2 the size of the bread. Our pitchers of beer were also $30 a piece. We were given zero discount for the terrible service and food. The owner of this restaurant should be embarassed. I'll smile when I see this place permanently closed three months from now.
