Club 14

The food was hot and pretty tasty! Unfortunately there was only one waitress working which impeded her from being very attentive. The ambiance is a bar that nicely decorated with car & high school memorabilia.

We love Club 14. It is usually our go-to date night spot. You can never go wrong with anything on their menu. They take great pride in everything they make. We love the thin crust pizza, cod nuggets, salmon, shrimp cocktail, salisbury steak, and jalapeno Mac and cheese. Side salads are always so fresh as well. The staff is top notch, and there's a really pleasant atmosphere. Often you are even greeted by the owner. We plan to be long time customers of Club 14.

Very friendly place with nice energy and good food. I was surprised and pleased to see chicken livers (and gizzards) on the menu and happily ordered them. Crispy, light and delicious. I asked for a side of gravy which was the perfect sauce. I also ordered the asparagus which was perfectly prepared and buttery. VERY impressed with the wine selection for a bar in a small town. Even had a nice rosè! I will definitely come back when I'm in the area. My only complaint would be the utensils which were just a little bit too light weight and for some reason awkward to hold. Otherwise, great find.

For the last 50 years or so, there was a bar in Peru, Indiana called Club 14. It was full of guys with a beer in one hand, a cigarette in the other hand, and a pool cue in the other hand (having three hands requires a sufficient number of beers)... That was until 2 1/2 years ago when a local couple bought the place, and transformed into a delightful mix of local hangout, great eatery and a nice bar. The menu has some nice twists and turns. It includes some creative sides (the jalapeño mac and cheese looked interesting, and we enjoyed the novel "pig tail fries" with a side order of really nice honey mustard). We had the grilled grouper, which was good, but not great (this is small town Indiana, after all), and the breaded pork chop, which was very tasty, and prepared perfectly.The beer list caters to the clientele, with most of the standard mass market American beers, but with some very interesting offerings on tap "for the millennials". I had the 10 Barrel Brewery Apocalypse IPA, which was outstanding.The high point was the owners, though. This restaurant is a labor of love, and it shows. I don't remember seeing a single person, on a busy Friday evening, that they didn't greet and/or chat with. Be sure to tell Denise I said hello. After one visit, I feel like she's an old friend.

Always great food and great service. Love the Pizza! Not a big place, so it can be crowded. The outdoor seating is great if the weather is nice.

I came here for a work trip and ordered some pulled pork nachos and the Wednesday brisket special with jalapeño mac n' cheese. Both items were well smoked and treated great.On my next trip back to Peru, I'll definitely stop by and try their pulled pork sandwich.

We stopped here on our way to South Bend AND WOW! I had a steak which was better than most Steakhouses do. We also had the breadsticks umm... DO NOT pass these over. What an awesome find! We'll be back for sure!

Food was great and excellent service. Had chicken sandwiches tater tots. Wife had hamburger French fries. And shared breadsticks. All excellent hot and came out fast. Very clean.
