This is my first time at the Butler campus, and I went to see Nurse John perform on his "we're short staffed" tour. I found street parking in a nearby neighborhood but heard there was a parking garage if you're interested in covered parking. My tickets were for the 3rd terrace, row A and I felt like I could see great and the acoustics were wonderful. I ordered an espresso martini at the bar before the show and it came in a cute little reusable cup that I'm taking home for the memories. Definitely will be back for another show!

Such a great venue to be ruined by such a shit show of a parking garage. Literally stuck in the garage as I type this for what will most likely be a couple hours after a show. That's absurd and unacceptable.

A lovely event space -- we're so lucky in Indy to have multiple beautiful theatres. What I love about Clowes is how patient the staff are. I was having issues with my QR code for a show, and they were super helpful and helped me feel less anxious. If this were downtown, I would probably be told to get out of line until I got my act together, haha! It's also great that there is a parking garage right next to the venue. If you are brave, you can park further back in the neighborhood and walk-in to avoid the chaos of the garage. It is a gorgeous venue. The only thing that would make it better is more women's bathrooms (but I think that is the challenge with every theatre all over the globe).

This is a beautiful place to watch a play or musical. Located on Butler University's campus this place is big inside and every seat is a great seat. I've seen the Phantom of the Opera, Blue Man Group, and recently RAIN : A Tribute to the Beatles. That was such a great show!!! It was very easy coming in and finding our seats. They had refreshments popcorn and drinks. A great venue to enjoy a night of entertainment!

Excellent venue, great vendors, AMAZING comedy. I came to see Ali Siddiq with my cousin, and we laughed from beginning to end! We had great seats, which were very comfortable, and ample security that was visible all night. The parking garage was reasonably priced at $10. I didn't partske on any of the libations, but they had everything you needed available. I've been to other events at Clowes, including Flava Fresh Art events that I participated in, and I have always enjoyed myself. The ladies in the box office were very helpful in locating our ticket information for paper tickets when my cousin's WiFi wasn't working. Overall, this is an awesome place to experience all sorts of events. I'll definitely be back. Having it located at the Butler Campus is a PLUS. The campus is EXTRAORDINARY!!!!

I have enjoyed a variety of performances at Clowes. The acoustics are great, even on the 4th terrace level. To Kill A Mockingbird was standing ovation worthy. Seats are comfortable but very little space to walk between the long rows. Refreshments are available and allowed in the theatre. Souvenir shop is usually open. Restrooms not well attended, sink water did not work and no paper towels by the end of the night. Be aware that restrooms are staggered on different levels, Womens on one floor, Mens the next, etc. Parking garage around the corner ($10). Be prepared for congestion when leaving. No paper tickets anymore, you must download on your phone and present at the door.

Huge hall with light refreshments and snacks! We sat on the 3rd left Terrance in row A. There is a railing that will obstruct your view however, if you don't mind leaning the entire time- the seats are fine. I recommend if you are someone who needs to get up frequently, do not sit in the middle of the rows as you will force 30 others to get up since there is no middle aisles. Don't attempt to park in the garage, find street parking on W 47th between Sunset Ave and Hinesley Ave!

I have been to Clowes for a variety of events, most of them being theatre productions. The staff there are very welcoming and efficient. Clowes is set up in a way that you can't have a bad seat in my opinion. It is easy to get lost in a show in an environment like Clowes. I always look forward to shows there. Pro tip: I love to park on the street on the side streets by Clowes. There is almost always parking and I can get out of the area way faster after the show is over!

Clowes is a great event space that has everything you could want in a theater! I was there with my family this weekend to see Hadestown and they were impressed with the amenities offered. As a Butler student, I was able to walk to the venue, but my family had no trouble finding parking in the nearby garage. The event staff were friendly and efficient; at first there was a long line out the door waiting to get tickets scanned, but we were inside in a matter of minutes. Clowes itself is very impressive, but the functionality of this venue is what truly impressed me. While at first a little intimidating to navigate, the sections are clearly labeled, and the event staff will jump at the chance to help you find your section. There are bathrooms on every floor, and the lines moved quite quickly. There were also food stations on every floor with a variety of beverages and treats (my sibling was impressed by the "mini bars"). It was easy to find our seats with the help of the event staff, and although we were on the second terrace, we had a great, unobstructed view (see photos)! The show was amazing, of course. After the show, the crowds did get a little congested while funneling out the doors, but it was no big deal. The line to buy merchandise moved quickly, and we were out of there in no time!Overall, I was very impressed by the staff and the amenities available, and I can't wait to see another show here!

I have enjoyed the venue in the past. I don't think there is a bad view in the hall. However, on 2/22/25 the show started 1 hour late. During the intermission, before the headliner, I went to get some water and ALL the concession stands were closed. NO ONE would sell me any water. At the information desk, when I inquired about getting something to drink. I was told that because the show started late, they still closed the stands on time. Well how would the audience know that? It's not our fault they started late! Needless to say in addition to the late start, the closed concession stands made the night that much longer.
