I called ahead for what I wanted. The place is quite small but very clean. The staff were very sweet and helpful. The food was made to order and good. I brought it back to my hotel to eat as I was on a time crunch. They amount was plentiful and the prices are extremely reasonable. I'll definitely come back with friends the next time I come through.

Came here on a random Monday morning because in downtown Fort Wayne there is literally nothing open for breakfast. So needless to say, this was not the first choice however, this was an amazing great surprise find !!!When you walk in it is so super tiny and so old-school retro. It is fantastic. The decor is utterly random with the funniest sayings on the walls. The menu is pretty succinct and direct and simple, which is exactly what you expect from this type of place. When the food came out, super quick very hot, it was very generous in portions, considering the prices this place has not from what I can tell from the prices been impacted by inflation .The three ladies working here were super nice and friendly, very patient and hospitable. I would definitely come back here again if I'm in downtown Fort Wayne because this is a true stand out.

Cindy's Diner in Fort Wayne is the kind of place that makes you feel like you've stepped back in time, in the best way possible. The diner might seem modest from the outside, but once you step inside, it's like walking into a cozy, old-school eatery where every seat feels like the best seat in the house. The space is intimate, with classic diner stools at the counter that seem to welcome everyone like family. Though it's small, the warmth and charm make it feel expansive, and the food is where it truly shines. We started with the special breakfast, and it was everything we hoped for. The over-easy eggs were cooked to perfection--creamy, with the yolk running just enough to soak into the soft, toasted bread. The slice of ham had a beautiful salty crispness on the edges, and it was juicy in the center, adding the perfect savory touch. The potatoes? Golden, slightly crispy on the outside, and fluffy inside, seasoned just enough to make every bite satisfying but never overwhelming. It felt like the quintessential diner breakfast, simple but made with care. Then, we ordered the French toast, which truly felt like a morning hug on a plate. The bread was thick, with a slight crispness on the outside and soft, custard-like on the inside. Each bite melted in your mouth, the sweetness perfectly balanced. The warm syrup pooled on top, infusing each forkful with a comforting sweetness that wasn't too sugary but just right. Paired with a pat of butter melting slowly over the toast, it was the ideal way to start the day, both nostalgic and indulgent. Cindy's may be small, but it leaves a big impression, offering hearty, delicious meals that bring a sense of home. It's a place you'll want to return to, not just for the food, but for the feeling it gives you.

I walked here from the Hilton hotel which isn't far from this particular place. I ended up ordering three pancakes with scrambled eggs. The pancakes were huge and very good and the scrambled eggs were pretty good also. This seems to be the type of place where the staff knows just about everyone that eats their. The morning I went I seem to have been the only person that the staff did not know. They were very friendly and helpful and the prices were pretty decent. Much better than paying $18 at the hotel. Most definitely a diner ambiance.

Cindy's is a small/cool retro Diner downtown. About 20 seats inside at the bar. Not much space. They do have some additional seating outside if the weather permits. I had the "Garbage" a mix of eggs, ham, cheese and goodness. Terrific diner fair. My server was attentive to everyone at the bar and my coffee cup was always full. Grab some grub at this quaint historic diner.

Cindy's is a must must must go to! Before we were married, my husband brought me here to entice me to move to Fort Wayne. it worked! That was 20 years ago and I still love Indiana and Fort Wayne! PS get the garbage! You will never look at garbage the same again :-) I love being able to sit next to people and chat, while our food is delivered with a smile by Cindy's awesome staff. So feed the meter outside grab a stool and enjoy!

We throughly enjoyed our meal at Cindy's Diner. One of them was called trash or maybe it was garbage? Either way It was delicious! I love the sign that said something like feeding the world 15 seats at a time. It isn't a fancy place but the food and service are good! Definitely an experience worth having if you find yourself in downtown Ft Wayne IN.
