Disappointed. The decor and design, I'll give 5 stars, but the food, not at all. Spent almost $50 and it's been about a few months since I tried them and I still feel the same. The service was great, but the food lacked IMO. There are way too many fried chicken places that are heavy hitters and Chucky D isn't close. The wings themselves reminded me of the wings from Ponderosa. I tried a few sauces and they all seemed to be a bit too salty for my liking and didn't really wow me. The tenders weren't bad. They actually were probably the best out of everything ordered. It's best to eat the fries fresh. Seems a bit pricey compared to others. The packaging is cute and trendy. This was my first time having Korean fried chicken and I'm not sure how long Chucky D will be around with other chicken places popping up.

This is a hip and trendy restaurant that is located downtown where the old Smashburger use to be. There is metered street parking available on the street out front and within a reasonable walking distance. There is also a commercial parking garage right across the street. This restaurant specializes in fried chicken wings, but they offer a lot more. They have burgers, chicken sandwiches, wraps, nuggets, Korean corn dogs and bubble teas.It is worth mentioning that the place does not have fountain drinks. They only have canned drinks that come with a Styrofoam cup of ice. I visited during their soft opening, so I was able to get 10% off. They staff was friendly enough, but I only had a limited interaction with them. The restaurant has a large picturesque dining area with tables/chairs, and bar seating. I sat at the bar seating outlooking the sidewalk so that I could people watch and eat. They had hip-hop music playing throughout the dining area. There are a few photo ops in the dining area that a few people took advantage of during my visit. You can place your order at one of the two self serve kiosks or directly at the counter. I ordered 5 Korean BBQ Wings, 5 Sweet Chili Sauce Wings, and some fries. It was made fresh, took about 12 minutes to prepare and was piping hot. The wings were very crispy and flavorful. I just wish that had more sauce. I like mine drenched in sauce and not with a drizzle. They were still good though. This restaurant is a very nice addition to the heart of downtown. They have some very good food and and awesome vibe. I highly recommend checking this place out and I will definitely be back real soon.

Food: we got the chicken tenders and side of French fries. I like how the tenders were lightly breaded, almost like it was flash fried or tempura. The fries were good and had some seasoning although some of the fries had quite a bit of brown spots (and no, not like the brown on natural cut fries from potatoes). We each got a Boba tea (mine with dragon fruit and mango and his with peach and strawberry). Service: very great service! They were patient, knowledgeable, and very polite. They even brought the food to our table.Ambiance: the inside is straight vibes! Very cool inside decor. See pictures. The bathroom was also very clean and it's labeled all gender. Critique: Our two meals for chicken tenders, fries, and Boba was $38. I feel that's definitely on the expensive end.

Chucky D's is a new Korean fried chicken spot just off Mass Ave. Great ambience in the restaurant and amazing service.I ordered takeout and got the 5 Korean bbq and 5 crispy wings combo with mango habanero sauce on the side. The Korean bbq was fantastic and a perfect mix of spicy and tangy - I could drink the sauce. The mango habanero sauce was not as spicy as expected and was ok. The wings themselves were fresh, crunchy and juicy. Also as an fyi my order had all flats and no drumsticks, which I liked but not sure if that's always the case.Overall great flavor and quality but the wings were small, otherwise would have been a 5/5. Great new Korean fried chicken addition to downtown Indy. Will definitely be back.

This is such a cool spot! The vibe is chill and trendy. All of the food was hot and fresh. My favorite was the Thai mayo stick. I feel like the chicken itself isn't super seasoned but the sauces make up for that. It was nice and crispy too. The Pinky Dragon tea (mango and dragonfruit) was a hit for me because it was flavorful without being super sugary. The cashier was really nice and gave me free sauces to try with my original crispy wings. She was also super helpful going through the menu.

It was kinda expensive for what we got. The chicken was good. A little bland. Better the next day when I reheated and added salt. Service was good!

Absolutely horrible wings. I ordered the crispy wings with seasoning. They came undercooked and covered in Parmesan cheese and we're disgusting not even edible.
