Chris' tacos are so good. Consistently tasty and filling. I would recommend any of their tacos, and also to try a sope if you haven't had one!Their service is quick and very good around the lunch rush.

We visited this spot today on the recommendation of the owner of CrossFit in Zionsville, and it absolutely lived up to the hype! The tacos were fresh, flavorful, and satisfying--definitely worth a visit. We loved the burrito too! What truly stood out, though, was their ice cream! Creamy, rich, and bursting with flavor, it was a delightful surprise. The gentleman who took our order was incredibly kind and let us sample a few flavors before deciding. We tried the Mango, Mamay, and Oreo--each one was divine in its own way. We're already excited to return, not just for the food but to bring our toddler along. The ice cream will surely be a hit with them too. Looking forward to exploring more of their menu on our next visit!

DO NOT SLEEP ON CHRIS' ICE CREAM YALL. Best. Freaking. Tacos. This place has been a staple of ours for years. Conveniently located in Nora plaza shopping, near the Goodwill and Total Wine, this place is the best match for your authentic taco craving. So many things are delicious here, but our favorite tacos include carnitas (literally INCREDIBLE and I don't even love pork), asada (steak), and the campechano (steak and chorizo). The pork and steak are packed with flavor and are NEVER dry. And don't you dare confuse the pan-fried crispness of the chorizo with "burnt," because y'all, they KNOW what they are doing and HOT D@MN do they do it well! (Don't even get me started on the refried pinto beans... they are beyond incredible, and likely terrible for me, but that will never stop me.)The staff is SO kind and provides excellent service, and the owner is always there thanking people for their business and verifying that everything is up to par! The spot is low key, no liquor or beer/wine, but you won't miss it. This is best for carry out, or a short, casual dine-in experience. Beverages are available for purchase from the cooler!

I have always heard good things about this place and finally had the chance to stop in a check it out! You order at the counter and they bring your food to you.The menu has some decent options! But I'm a basic b and went for tacos, they were fresh and delicious, and I had that awesome green sauce you see in authentic Mexican joints, so tasty! Check them out if you are in the area!

Yep, the tacos live up the hype. I have three criteria for a great street taco: flavorful shell that stays together, moist meat filled with flavor and fresh toppings. Amazingly, few places get it right, but Chris' does. I tried a steak, chicken and pork. The tacos are packed with meat. The steak taco was my favorite. The shells are fresh, high quality with the aroma of popcorn. Best shells. I loved the combination cilantro, lettuce and tiny bits of onion topping. The place is not fancy or upscale. There are maybe a dozen tables. The service is super friendly, even when faced with a lunch crowd. And the buzz is out, with a constant line of patrons to order. They also serve other Mexican favorites and ice cream. They do a robust carry out biz. I'll be back.

Very famous place that many people have recommended to me. And I had to try it!I didn't go there for ice cream, but their tacos- but then ended up getting both :)This is not a huge place, definitely one of the hidden gems in the area. I ordered tacos with steak and pork. The food only took about 5 minutes. Both were delicious. A lot of flavor in pork. Generous amount of cilantro which I loved. They let me sample two flavors of ice cream and I got cookie dough. Although I got the smallest size they had, it was a lot of ice cream in it. We also got to talk to the Salvadoran owner and he was such a sweet, friendly person. Everyone else working there was very nice. Great experience.

Omg, I have so many good things to say about Chris' Ice Cream! This place is an authentic ice cream shop that also serves amazing Mexican food. The prices are decent, and the service is fantastic.I haven't been here in a while and I miss when it was more of a hole-in-the-wall--it had such a unique charm--but it never disappointed me. If I lived closer, it would definitely be dangerous; I'd probably be there at least three times a week! Highly recommend checking it out!

Wow. I had never been here before-- had never even heard of this place!-- but my colleagues found it online after searching for highly rated (post-work) Mexican food. Let's just say-- the ratings are right. This place is amazing. It's counter service so super easy to order (and the woman behind the counter was extremely friendly/nice). The chicken enchiladas were SO GOOD. Like, I would come back for tomorrow lunch and dinner and just get that. My colleagues loved their tacos & tortas. The mamey & chocolate ice cream was also great (and extremely inexpensive for the amount you get!). It seems like a place with a lot of return customers (a lot of waves to and from the people behind the counter) which is a huge plus. 10/10 recommend. (Oh, and parking is súper fácil-- super easy).

This was some of the best Mexican food I've eaten since moving to Indiana! (Well, in Indiana - I still have my faves in California). I wish I had taken pictures. I had the flautas, which were crispy to perfection and filled with plenty of delicious chicken. My daughter ordered carne asada tacos which she thoroughly enjoyed. Youngest daughter got a quesadilla, so to be fair there's not much to say about that. Bottled drinks are available out of a refrigerator, including Mexican Coke and a variety of Jarritos. The kids also got ice cream after and they had a really nice variety of flavors. I wish it were closer to my house because we'd go often, but I definitely plan to go back soon.

What an unexpected experience. We didn't try the ice cream, but that isn't the main draw of this place. The appeal is the authentic, fantastic Mexican entrees! We had an array of authentic tacos that were prepared quickly and with love and tasted divine. The place is small and the disconnect between ice cream and dinner can be a little confusing. But the staff were all friendly and the food is stellar. I'd recommend this if you're in the mood for good tacos.
