I always have a great time here. Especially on Sundays. Want all you can eat brunch and a live DJ? This is the place to be. Spring, Summer, and early Fall, you can sit on the balcony overlooking Broad Ripple. The service is always great. The drinks are amazing, you'll definitely walk out getting your moneys worth. They've tweaked the menu a few times but I haven't had anything I didn't like. Kid friendly and depending on their taste, they may enjoy something on the menu too.

We stopped by on a Thursday night. Atmosphere was cozy and tavern like- great relaxing vibe but probably much busier on weekends. They have a full bar with a nice tequila list.We got the queso fundido w mushrooms as an app and it was very good. Then we got 3 taxi's each- all were good. I had the al pastor, the quesobiria and the cauliflower. The quesobiria was the star- perfectly savory and melty w a crisp shell. The cauliflower was well roasted w pickled veggies and was very nice. The Al pastor was a bit weaker- good flavor but a bit dry. Our server really helpful with recs and super nice!If you're in the Broad Ripple area it's definitely worth a stop.

Meh, it's decent. As a former Texan and Angeleno, I know from good Tex Mex and Mexican, and tacos are definitely my thing. I was super excited to try the cute Cholita Taqueria in Broad Ripple, but was sadly not impressed with the food & probably won't return. My friend and I ordered margaritas, a chips, beans, & guacamole sampler, and we both had two tacos. The sampler was good, with fresh chips and tasty sides. However, nothing, including the salsa, was seasoned! Also, my poor little shrimp taco was covered in veggies with only two baby shrimp to be found. We sat outdoors in the heated, covered patio, which was very nice, and our server Kayla was a gem. Parking was small but conveniently located directly behind the building, so that helped give a star as well. Who knows, I may return for the service only, but certainly won't recommend for the best tacos in town.

It was my second time at Cholita. The first time was over 2 years ago, and I didn't think too much of this place back then... but after visiting them again, it's now my favorite spot! Here is why. Their taco menu is unique... I almost ordered the Brussels sprouts taco but I ended up changing my mind. I had al pastor and Carne Asada Vampire. I was there for a private event and wanted something quick to munch on. Al pastor was not what I had imagined. Every "Al pastor" tacos I had before, had pineapples cooked together with the rest. But here, pineapple was just a topping. And it was a lot of them. Not sure what to think about it, I moved on to carne asada and that was SO good. So juicy and tasteful. The service was good too. I got my tacos quick and it was impressive.

Cholita Taqueria is a fun place if you're looking to enjoy a fun atmosphere with good food on a screened in patio. The street being right by the patio makes it a bit loud at times but it is still rather comfortable out there. Our server was also very sweet. Our tacos were fine, mine were a little soggy. One thing I would recommend a thousand times over is the birria grilled cheese. This is a birria cheese that's been baked in a cast iron dish and served with little tortilla wedges. You can get some insane cheese pulls from it! Aside from that, it is also very delicious cheese, like a mozzarella but with a little more saltiness to it. I'd certainly come again, and will definitely get more birria cheese!

Let me start off by saying I'm very picky eater. Cholita's tacos are just okay to me, especially when there are other options right down the street. Their deck is awesome in the summer, the service is always good and I enjoy their speciality drinks, but their food is meh. Good for happy hour.

The tacos were better than I remembered from last time I went. But for transparency, I'm a big fan of authentic street-style tacos, so the Americanized ones don't usually do it for me. The guacamole and chips were just okay - kind of a letdown since finding a good sturdy chip at a Mexican restaurant shouldn't be hard. They've got some specials on different days and do events like trivia and DJ nights, which can make it feel pretty lively. It can also get really busy, with long waits depending on the time you go. Service was good though.I tried their mockarita this time and actually loved it. If you're after a non-alcoholic margarita, this one's pretty tasty. Also, the covered outdoor seating on the patio right along Broad Ripple Ave is nice.

I don't venture to broad ripple much and decided to stop at Cholita. I enjoyed it last time and I enjoyed it just the same this time. I got there early, around 2pm, so it was not busy. I sat at the bar and ordered their house margarita and one grilled shrimp adobo taco. That taco was amazing, messy but so many incredible flavors going on. If you go you have to try it but it may not be the best option if you're on a date....like I said it's gets messy quick. The service was slow....it took awhile before they gave me a menu and just as long to get my order but I wasn't in a rush. They have indoor seating and a cover patio section. You actually need to walk to the back to get to the entrance.

Cholita is one of our fav places! The tacos are insanely good, my favorite is La Gringa and the Baja San Diego. We also love the queso fundido for an appetizer, the chips are like little tortillas. Also, they have Coke products, which is huge for a Diet Coke addict like me. The atmosphere is always fun, I highly recommend sitting on the patio when it's nice out!

Great taco place with great margaritas. I ordered a couple of margaritas, tacos al pastor, and chips and salsa. The margaritas were great. They have good spice margaritas and sweet margaritas. The chips were nice and crisp and the salsa was REALLY good and really fresh. Finally the tacos were great. The service was really quick and the bar tenders were friendly. The inside is small and cozy. Lots of TV's to watch sports. It was a great place to watch and IndyCar race. They have a semi-outdoor screened-in area, too.Definitely a must try restaurant in Broadripple.
