China Wok

This is your usual slightly above average Chinese takeout joint. They don't do delivery. Their pork lo mein is quite good. Their General Tso's is ok but not quite spicy enough so you have to ask for them to kick it up. The crab rangoon is the same as anywhere. Their egg rolls and spring rolls are good.As seems to be typical with Chinese food, it costs about 25% too much. But at least you don't have to mess with buying drinks. You can tip, it's definitely a family owned joint. You can eat in but it's got maybe two tables. In all it's the best/most consistent Chinese place I've found on the northside. It probably beats the heck out of any of the buffet places I've been to around here, and that includes the Journey. I've gotten carryout from there twice, and I live up the street, so I expect I'll be back.

I've ordered from this restaurant numerous times. It's a solid place that provides decent Chinese food. Nothing has been ever been gross and the service is quick. It used to be a bit more of a deal, but as everything, prices have gone up. I arrived to pick up my food when quoted and by the time I got it home within a few minutes it was just warm. The chicken had some tough pieces. I'll probably order from here again but may try some other places that have opened up as well

Driven by this location many times and today was the day to give it a go. It's your typical Chinese takeout joint. Same pictures over the counter and the menus are pretty identical to any other Chinese takeout. The person at the counter was on top of it. Got my order in and took a seat and waited while they prepared my food fresh. It came out within 10 minutes. The wait was clean and quiet. I took it home and it was very hot and plenty of meat, vegetables and fried rice. The hot and sour soup also was chucked full. I just wish the flavor were there too. Overall it was fairly mundane. Kung pao was devoid of peppers and spice. The hot and sour soup is basically egg drop. No hot and no sour.

Good food and the orders are always ready on time. We had se real different dishes and all were delicious.

I have ordered meals from different Asian food restaurants, and decided to give China Wok a try, It was the best food we have had from any of the others hands down. The orange chicken was great, fried rice was excellent. This will be the only place we will order from. *****

We are visiting family & babysitting grandkids. So I needed delivery. I looked for local places & pre-ordered China Wok via Yelp. It arrived almost on schedule; just a few minutes late. The fried dumplings were good, and there were eight in the serving. We also had two spring rolls, chicken lo mein, and Happy Family with fried rice. Everything was fine--not the most inspiring or inventive menu, but tasty, warm, and filling.

Worst food every had, gen tos was over cook so hard we threw it away. Never again. Waste of 28.00

This place is so good! The best shrimp egg rolls on the planet. The sauces and amount of meats are perfect. My favorite is the Mongolian Beef. Great lunch menu and great service. I once called about 15 minutes before closing, they happily took my order. They are closed on Tuesday.

Shockingly good. Ordered extra spicy orange chicken with an egg on the rice by request. Was only $11. Definitely my favorite place now. Tastes fresh and not soggy/mushy.

The food quality was awful. I ordered egg rolls and sweet and sour chicken. The egg rolls were old and re-fried and the chicken was over cooked to the point it wasn't edible.
