China Buffet

I went in today expecting it to be as bad as the reviews. It's not nearly as bad as these asshats are making it out to be. In fact, the hot and sour soup was perfect, most of the food wasn't perfect, Perhaps they can turn the heat up a bit more on the buffet pans.But all together the service was good, and the people were nice. The Chinese buffets are slim around here so "we the people" gotta give this one a little slack. This restaurant really could use some better paint, and decor, and perhaps some Chinese meditation music to drown out the asshats. Advice to the owner, never stop improving, and keep it up.I am a big fan of Chinese culture, and the food of course the Chinese woman. When we walk in to a Chinese restaurant we want to feel engulfed in another land of culture.

Almost everything was cold and hard. Most of it didn't appear to have been even stirred for hours. There was also a young girl chopping vegetables at a table in front - ungloved, touching her face and hair, getting up to take payments, and coming back to the vegetables. Never washing her hands or putting on gloves. There were many open drinks and half eaten food on the same table. I am shocked I didn't end up in the hospital.

Absolutely the WORST Chinese buffet I've ever been to. I read the negative reviews before I went, but decided to give it a shot anyway. All of the food was soggy and cold. I went during the lunch hour, so I figured at least some of it would be fresh... Nope! The fried rice was flavorless and cold. The noodles were actually hard like they had been sitting out for a LONG time, or not thoroughly cooked. I saw they had hibachi, but the flies around the raw meat just didn't sit well with me so I decided to pass. You have to get your own drinks, silverware, etc. as there are no waitresses. In all seriousness, go somewhere else. I ate about 5 bites of food and left. I was going to run through a drive-thru but I too nauseas to eat after that. $10 down the drain.

This place is pretty dingy. It was dark. The food was very much not fresh. Hardly anyone working up front or in the dining area. Just a super uncomfortable experience and I won't be going back any time soon.

This is the first time I've been to this place and the food was great. I asked one of the employees if they changed owners or not and she said yes. But the best part was the food was hot and ready the employees where really nice plus, they would get refills fast and take your plate right when they spot them. The food was good and cheaper than any Chinese buffet I've every ate.For one sure thing is that I'll come back.

The food looked like it had been sitting out all day. Half of it was old, stale, or cold. Definitely not worth the 10$ to play per person. On top of that, the staff weren't very friendly and hovered over your table while you ate. Definitely not going back.

Only if you are starving and nothing else is available. The place is so old that it gives the appearance of being dirty. The food is mediocre and the wait staff indifferent. We intend to avoid the place and will patronize elsewhere.

I love this place. Yes, some of the food is mediocre, but its a buffet for 13 dollars. And some of that food is GOOD. Don't tell me this place is bad if you haven't tried the chicken on a stick. Staff is nice too, never experienced the rudeness some people mention and I've been here multiple times. China buffet has a special place in my heart.

Horrible place...made me and my husband sick...never again...even my tea was spoiled and the tiny woman at the register had a horrible attitude

I decided to check this place out, despite its low overall rating, because the most recent reviewer reported new ownership and a good experience. I'm so glad I did! Granted, the appearance of the restaurant is dive-y, but in my experience, all the best places are dives! That proved true here, as well. Everything I tasted on the buffet was exceptionally tasty and fresh, with only one exception (the General Tso's chicken). But...I mean, come on! That's extremely good odds at a buffet, in my opinion! There were far too many options on this buffet for me to try everything I wanted to, so I look forward to a return visit soon. I've tried a handful of Chinese places in Columbus, and this one is by FAR the best! Service was prompt and I never wanted for a refill of my beverage.
