Cute quiet light lunch place, nice to go for good food and nice place to catch up with friends. We went in between lunch and dinner soIt was empty with a few delivery/pick upOrders going out. Decorated like a clamping area with chairs and tables in groupings and a couple with a tent over to feel more secluded with a little camp lantern on the table. This gave us a few pics to post! Food is Korean BBQ and Boba teas. We ordered a few skewers and they asked us our heat level to be added we said just a little so we could enjoy the food and it was just the right amount! We ordered regular tea and my daughter got a cookies cake cream boba something she really liked it, for me too sweet and heavy for lunch. We just ordered a few skewers of lamb, cauliflower, squid, shrimp, tofu and enookie mushrooms with garlic eggplant on the side. They do have other meats like wings and an assortment of steamed buns. The skewers were delicious with the a BBQ dry mix on them plus a small amount of heat but then combining it with the garlic eggplant was an awesome bite. Not big portions and no cooking at the table so a great place to grab a bite, share some food and talk with friends around a table. The skewers come out on a metal tray ontop of a wood crate to hold the heat source inside and safe, so cute!! Staff was very friendly and helpful! This is a newly opened restaurant so give it a try, I will go back!!!

Tl;DR: Fun little place with delicious skewers, definitely recommend.Food:Tried the Korean wings and several of the skewers. The wings were good but the breading was a bit thicker than I'd like. Skewers were actually awesome, well seasoned (like flavor seasoning not just salted), and there was a reasonable amount of meat per order. Ambiance:Love the camping theme, but it does kind of fade into the background when eating. It sure what to recommend, but it'd be nice if it was a bit more... immersive? Server was friendly and prompt, no issues at all.Cost:Two of us came in a little under $60 after tip (food plus one boba tea) which felt about right for how much we ordered.Overall:Had a great time, will definitely go again.

The ladies in my life suggested Chill'n Camp for lunch today. We drove across town to East 82nd Street to start our lunch adventure.I'll start the actual review by saying, I wanted it to be better than it was.The theme of the restaurant is a camping type theme while serving Asian fusion type food. I had the Teriyaki chicken over rice, which while well priced and being an adequate sized serving, it just needed to be better. It was a grilled chicken breast over rice with a pan seared egg with some sweet chili sauce. (Not sure what was Teriyaki about it).Another of my dining partners got the Steak Bulogi over rice with a pan seared egg. The meat lacked flavor and there was no sauce at all. Again, it just needed to be better. The last member of our party had their interpretation of white meat General Tso's chicken over rice. The dish was a battered chicken again with the same/similar sweet chili sauce. I'll say it again about this dish, it wanted to be better. Finally the appetizer we ordered which was the sweet and spicy Korean wings arrived after we had eaten our entrees. The meat to batter ratio was off as they were too heavily battered. The sweet spicy sauce was OK. A couple of the wings didn't seem fully cooked. Again, I'll say it. These should have been better.Regarding the service, I'll boil it down to "it should have been much better".I'm told the ladies restroom had no toilet paper... Should have been better...The theme of camping fits because like most camping trips, it didn't live up to the hype and the idea of it was better than the execution.

I was excited to check out Chilin Camp Tea & BBQ, especially with its cute camping-themed atmosphere. However, the experience felt less like a cozy night around the campfire and more like being stranded in the wilderness with no guide. The biggest issue? Service. There was only one server, and he seemed completely lost in the woods. He struggled to explain menu items, apologized more than anything else, and repeatedly told us he was handling our order--only to walk away empty-handed. Our meal arrived in scattered, unpredictable waves: my mom's drink didn't show up until the end, her food lacked sauce, and our appetizer (wings) bizarrely came out last. To make matters worse, the wings were over-breaded, tasted off, and a couple weren't even fully cooked. The seating was another disaster. We were placed in low-to-the-ground camping chairs, making it feel like we were roughing it rather than enjoying a meal. Meanwhile, other diners hovered in the tiny doorway the entire time, making for an awkward and cramped experience. While the decor is charming, the overall execution left us feeling lost in the woods rather than enjoying a well-prepared meal. If you're looking for a dining experience that's more "glamping," this isn't it.

I give 4 for ambience and service, staffs are nice. But for food : from Asian / Taiwanese standpoint (taste aspect) 3/5. The portion is huge though. I did feel wow with the presentation. It's a fun experience that's for sure.

My sister found this place on Instagram actually and we were out anyway so me and my mom dropped by. OH MY GOSH you step inside and already get the camping vibe.Their menu is so haha well the variety is awesome as well as the drink menu. To start off we got the Takoyaki the calamari. To describe it, it's kind off like a calamari fritter and to drink I got the Brown Sugar Oreo Boba Milk. All excellent!Next we shove to try a little but if everything; lamb, Fish Tofu, Jumbo Shrimp, Enoki Mushroom and cauliflower. Oh my Josh SO good!Almost forget the owner is what she must've been was SO nice! I don't know why we were the only ones there. I'm telling everyone about Chill N Camp!

What a really neat, completely unexpected experience! No, Chill'in Camp is NOT an outdoor adventure store. However, it IS a very new, very one-of-a-kind destination eatery with a menu of Asian persuasion and an extremely interesting dining room - think camping chairs and tables; working lanterns, globes, white light strands, and an overhead light that resembles the moon to illuminate the atmosphere. Although artificial, the addition of tall grasses and green rugs add to the camping ambiance. I was #lost and I hadn't yet even had a bite of the cuisine I was about to meet! Take a look at the photos to understand that camping is the vibe, but the food served at Chill'in Camp is hardly hotdogs and S'mores. For a peek at the complete menu, click here https://www.chillncamp.com. I hope you'll decide to give this new dining experience a try. I'm really glad I did and WILL return for that shrimp! #Getlostindiana

Everything was amazing! Delicious flavors, and loved the atmosphere. The rock shrimp were my favorite, but I enjoyed everything I tasted, which was a lot amongst me and my two friends. We also had a fantastic waitress. Definitely going back!!

Stopped in here on a Saturday night. It was cold and rainy out so it wasn't too busy. We really liked the atmosphere. The room is setup to look like a camping area and even has a corner for karaoke singing however no one used it while we were there. We were quickly greeted and the staff is so friendly. I chose the kumquat lemon tea for my drink and it was delicious. For appetizers we chose the seared potsitckers and wings with the Korean sweet and spicy sauce. Both were amazing especially the wings. For our meal we chose some random skewers. We chose beef, lamb, calamari, wings, shrimp, cauliflower and enoki mushroom. All were amazing. The cauliflower is definitely a must try. The staff was very attentive and super friendly. We will definitely be back to try more things off the menu. The price was reasonable also.
