Truly amazing. Whenever they show up at events it's my first choice for food. Hotdogs, pizza puffs, and everything good is there. Service is always amazing and you always get your food quickly, and it's fresh. Interior is also nice and cozy, and there are many pictures and paintings of Chicago (hence the name)Definitely go here if you are looking for some fresh, amazing hotdogs. Hotdogs. Yes.

I can never resist a good Chicago-style hot dog, and today was no exception. And wow--so glad we didn't pass this one up! Thick, juicy sausages and hot dogs loaded with all the best toppings, including the most delectable fried onions. Add in a side of perfectly crispy fries, and you've got yourself a serious comfort food win. Service was quick and friendly, which made the experience even better. If I had one tiny critique, it'd be that the restaurant (and the parking lot outside) could use a little sprucing up. But honestly? When the food is this good, it's easy to overlook. If you're craving a solid, no-frills Chicago dog, this spot is definitely worth the stop!

I was being fat, spending hours scrolling for good on Yelp and this place caught my eye. They have a college dorm cafeteria menu for growing bodies with high metabolism. I felt brave to still possible gain weight and went in for the kill. I ordered like any overzealous person would and got the hotdog, beef pastry and onion rings. Delish hotdog. I can't remember the name it had bacon and melted cheese and I added bbq which made it taste like an Arby's roast beef sammich and I enjoyed it. The onions were bomb as well though I would have liked them sweeter. The special sauce I was not a fan of but it wasn't nasty, just not for me. Kind of like a spicy thousand island. The people were nice though I ordered online, I was in and out.The inside is fun and modern, giving a diner vibe.I would go again and try other things but I was not a fan of the beef pastry. It tasted like a big pizza roll. The bread is crispy on the outside but there's more dough than I would like toppings only cheese on the inside. Please try for yourself!

My favorite comfort food!! Quick and easy to order online and pick up. Food is always fresh and hot. I always get food for pickup so I'm only in for maybe 45sec to a minute. Every bite is delicious!

Excellent Italian Beef and Vienna dogs! Great spot in the IRV. Staff was super nice and helpful on my first visit! 5/5 for sure! :)

A GREAT meal at a no frills place selling everything that'll make you want to take a nap afterward.The TV menus were a bit hard to read with the glare. The small font was also difficult to read. For instance, if you are standing in line trying to see what to order, it's difficult to do until you get close to the counter.The service was great! The food was hot and fresh. The belushi polish dog has such a great flavor and they really packed on the toppings. I read that the Italian beef (dipped) is what to get and boy was it worth it! The beef had such a great flavor and the toppings were also packed on. The bread was *chefs kiss*. Though I do wish the bell peppers were sliced a bit thinner. But definitely recommend the Italian beef!Where this gets 4 stars and not 5 is the onion rings. Unfortunately, the crunch wasn't there. The flavor was great and the sauce was fantastic. I just wish there was a great classic onion ring crunch.If you're around, highly recommend!

As a life long Eastside resident I'm not sure how or why I've never been before. I can assure you I will be back!!! The food was made to order, but came out quickly. The restaurant was clean, but COLD. There AC unit read a staggering 61 degrees. . The service was quick and friendly. Chicago beef and dogs does offer delivery which is what we will try next time we order.

I have already reviewed, praising the 1/3 burger. This is for the Italian beef. So good. That is all. Get it with all the fixings. Also always fabulous service,.

I've had a number of items on the menu here and they are always made fresh and packed with flavor, but this review is going to be a little different and is finally getting posted.I recently tried Mr. Beef from the show The Bear and tried some of their food then came back home and had Chicago Beef and Dog 2 days later. 1 to 1, hands down, CBAD is just better. I tried the Italian beef and compared it - CBAD has the quality beef and bread, the spices for the au jus, the heat from the peppers... I just am blown away that the best of Chicago is right here in Irvington. And the prices are insane for the quality! All the people here are great too. You'll get the true Chicago interaction if the owner Dave is behind the counter, and Jennifer will give you the friendly Indy welcome. Either way, it's stellar customer service.My only regret is I don't have more pics of the food - I eat it too fast once that fresh food hits the table!

The service was great as we were greeted upon entering and was told to let them know if we had any questions about the menu. I'm giving 4 stars because our table was dirty. Other than that, we had a good time! This was my first visit and let me tell you, I will be returning! I ordered the Italian Beef Cheesy Fries and my friend ordered the Italian Beef (sandwich) Everything looked delicious and we definitely had enough to take home. The prices are reasonable as well! Thanks for a great first experience!
