Great service and food! Never had their sushi before and I was pleasantly surprised. Cozy ambience, nice place for a date. The staff was very nice.

Squeaks a four-star. We come here traditionally on New Years Eve. Party of eight. The restaurant isn't busy. One of our party comes here frequently, and warns that there are perhaps two or more chefs. One of them isn't as good at soups as the other. Our bad luck is that she finds the one that's not very good with soups. She bristles.Mine has improved. Others like theirs, too, the spicing and preparation good. Noted was some non-tender, pretty chewy chicken dishes. The menu as changed. The group decides, overall, that it's better than 2023. There is a 20% auto-tip factored into the individual bills. Service was good; there was a ten-minute wait for all the entree food to arrive. Yeah, she says, we didn't get the weekend chef.

The first time I went here, I left feeling unimpressed by the Pad Thai. This time around, I switched it up and got the green curry fried rice and really enjoyed it. It's flavorful with the perfect amount of spice to give it a small kick. The restaurant is always clean and has never been crowded when we've gone in so service was fast.

The Good: Sushi was fresh, delicious and priced fantastic. The Bad: Service was painfully slow. Had 5:30 reservations because we had a show at 7. Our food did not come until 6:45. Without an explanation. I tried to ask and was shut down. I get not enough staff, but it wasn't crowded and again, just check in with us.

This is a hidden gem in Broad Ripple. It's on Westfield (off the main drag) and if you blink you might miss the small private parking lot. There's plenty of metered street parking within a block so no worries there. The Thai dishes are authentic (I did not try the sushi) so be prepared for - Thai spicy' if that's what you ask for.

My beef stew noodle soup was good. Not the brown broth I was expecting, but still good.

Tried this restaurant again despite the price increase and I found small rocks in my food (yes literal rocks with quartz crystal) in all 3 of my noodle dishes I ordered in the same order. I have no idea how that was possible but it really grossed me out. The thought of rocks from the floor somehow making their way into the wok or the food prepping station. The manager was horrible toward me and very difficult to work with. He tried to get me to accept them giving me more food to make up for it, which was the last thing I wanted, instead of offering a refund. The managers have always been awful at this restaurant, very ill-tempered, short, and rude. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone; there are plenty of other Thai restaurants to eat at. Just keep in mind the lady who owns this place has several Thai restaurants in the Indy area (e.g. Thaitanium).

Tucked away in Broad Ripple near the canal, Chiang Mai is one of my go-to takeout and lunch spots. The quality is always consistent and they have a fabulous lunch special.I'm a big fan of their curries (especially the green curry), fried rice dishes (omg the Hawaiian Fried Rice), and of course their noodles (the pad kee mao / drunken noodles are a must-order). Don't forget to treat yourself to a Thai iced tea.Don's sleep on Chiang Mai!

My business banker, who lived in Thailand, told me about this place and recommended some dishes. I immediately went over and ordered takeout. I ordered Tom Yum Kung, Tom Kha Gai, Thai fried rice, crab rangoons, Thai custard sticky rice, and a Thai iced coffee to enjoy while I waited. The ambiance was pleasant and the place was clean, though not overly fancy.Everyone on the staff was super nice to me and the bartender who took my order talked with me while I waited. The Thai iced coffee was fantastic and reminded me of Cuban coffee. My order was ready quickly. Everything was still hot when I got home and my husband and I tried a little of everything and literally everything was incredible. The flavors were absolutely unreal. I'm not an expert in Thai food, so I have no idea how Chiang Mai stacks up to other Thai places. What I do know is that the food was pretty spectacular. I hadn't tried Tom Yum Kung or Tom Kha Gai before and they were both flavorful and exciting (tip from my banker: don't eat everything in the Tom Yum Kung; some of the ingredients are there for seasoning.) The Thai fried rice was so good I may never go back to Chinese fried rice. Same with the crab rangoons; they were less sweet than the Chinese versions I've had, and the dough was incredibly light and crisp. The Thai custard with sticky rice was a fabulous finish to this meal, and although we finished this dish and the rangoons at lunch, we were able to keep leftovers for two more meals from the generous portions.Chiang Mai will now be one of our regular haunts because when the food is this good, you can't help but return. Highly recommend!

Everything was good as usual but the Nam Tok salad was weird and not what we were expecting. No lettuce and the beef (at least in my experience) was always sliced steak... this was more like ground beef. Strange. Still tasted good but... Get the crab rangoons! One of the best around!
