Im just gonna put it nicely and say that this place has the worst food I've ever had. It's unseasoned, undercooked and honestly should not be given out to people. The fact that she calls herself a chef is embarrassing and disgusting. If you're looking for a place with quick & good food with flavor DONT COME HERE!!!

The food was great! Absolutely fantastic, I would highly recommend getting the Bang Bang chicken. My 3-star rating has nothing to do with the food, but the customer service. When speaking with the chef, she was very short and snippy when making sure that one of the meals was made for the dietary restrictions of one of the guest. The chef was very upset that I even asked her the question and barely let me finish my sentence. The person it was made for gets sick for over a month and we just wanted to double check. I understand that dietary restrictions can be hard when making meals for everyone, but customer service should be of highest priority, especially at the event in front of everyone.

My family and I planned a surprise 80th birthday for our Dad and hired Chef Suzanne's private chef services for the event. Working with Suzanne during the front-end/planning was wonderful. She was attentive, flexible, and helped develop the Italian menu for 17 people. In addition to Italian, Dad's other favorite is a good steak, so in addition to the Italian food, my family provided a Wagyu Ribeye Cap steak from a local farm to prepare for the meal. Sadly, the meal was a letdown. We started with what was supposed to be sausage (andouille) stuffed mushrooms, cheese, diced red/yellow peppers. What was served was mushrooms loaded with cream cheese, nicely diced peppers, and a ton of Italian seasoning, but no sausage so that was a bummer. The flavor was just okay but would not recommend. We also had bread and an olive oil dipping sauce that was infused with garlic and crushed red pepper and other seasoning that made this dipping sauce delicious. Unfortunately, the bread was cold, but the flavor of the sauce was the star. We then had a Caesar salad with a store-bought dressing. Everyone loved the dressing, and the salad was fresh and overall very good. Next up was chicken parmesan which simply put, was a failure. This was served as grilled chicken breasts, a dollop of tomato sauce and mozzarella on top. This too was cold with dry chicken that was an Italian seasoning bomb (not in a good way) along with nearly flavorless sauce and partially melted cheese on top. My chicken parmesan experiences have always been breaded with seasoned breadcrumbs or panko (typically with grated parmesan in the breading) smothered in excellent tomato sauce and melted cheese served with pasta. (Suzanne and I discussed this and agreed to penne, but no pasta was served.) Along with the chicken, we were served what was supposed to be roasted broccoli with bread crumb/panko gremolata. This too was cold and while the garlic and lemon flavors came through, there was no bread crumb/panko. Then came more disappointment in the form of a way overcooked and very under seasoned risotto that was supposed truffle/parmesan risotto. The risotto was mush, cold and very bland with zero seasoning and no truffle flavor whatsoever and some shaved parmesan on top. When planning the menu, Suzanne and I discussed in detail my concern about the cook on risotto, as it can go from perfect to horrible very quickly. She reassured me that they were very experienced with risotto and it's on a lot of their menus, so I went with it. Lastly, I requested (and even provided a recommended preparation from the farm I bought the beef from) a medium rare cook on the Wagyu. Unfortunately, it was served rare, and it too was cool/cold. I like good beef carpaccio, so the rare cook wasn't too bad for me, but others definitely wanted a bit more cook on theirs, and the fact that it wasn't prepared per request was disappointing. The cook was Alex and the server was Jen who were both friendly and accommodating; however, both were drinking alcohol during our event which I (and others) thought was inappropriate. Did this result in the poor quality of the meal? I don't know, but we thought it was unprofessional. They did an excellent job of cleaning up afterwards. A few additional minor things (as compared to the overall experience) was that I had requested grated parmesan on the table, but it wasn't provided. Also, again minor, I requested cloth napkins in any color other than black, and had discussed gold/yellow with Suzanne, but we got black. For dessert, we had store bought cheesecake (we provided) that was SO GOOD - highly recommend Juniors plain cheesecake in freezer section of Kroger! My sister made a delicious chocolate dessert that was also a big hit. Overall, Dad enjoyed himself and appreciated the surprise and spending time with his family. He's easy-going and doesn't complain much, if at all; however, he LOVES good food and isn't shy about gushing over a great meal and he didn't have anything positive to say about his meal - other than the salad and desserts. Some unsolicited feedback from my siblings: "Not great" "Not worth the money paid for the plate" I appreciated the convenience of having a meal prepped and cooked, and of course the clean-up, and there's some value in that, but the overall poor quality of the food itself was such a disappointment. I didn't say anything to Alex or Jen during the event because the food was already prepared and we had a 2.5 hr time limit so my concerns would have been shared in vain that evening. I would also like to add that I made multiple attempts to give this feedback to Suzanne over the past few weeks but never heard from her, so I'm left with posting this review here.

Chef Suzanne catered our office Thanksgiving meal. Great Food. I was able to try items I had never had before and was very happy with what we had. She did a great job and I hope that we will get to use her again in the future. I highly recommend using her for your catering needs. It was great having food catered in by a chef rather than just ordering the catering from a fast food place. Keep up the Great Food, Chef Suzanne!

Trash food. The chef had an attitude the whole time I was talking to her when I was going to make a catering order. Ended up switching places because of how she was acting. Just unprofessional!

I highly recommend Chef Suzanne for any catering event you may be considering.We were fortunate to connect with Chef Suzanne to cater a brunch reception this morning after my Mom's funeral. I had very little time in which to try to pull together this reception, and other caterers were too booked to help us. And then I contacted Chef Suzanne. Although she, too, was heavily booked today, when she heard that I was trying to do something to honor my Mom after her funeral, Suzanne said "I'm going to help you regardless of how busy we are." She put together a fantastic brunch in spite of the short notice. The food she prepared was fantastic! Each dish was delicious, and the selections she made were perfect. Our guests raved about everything she prepared. But I think for my family and I, what we will remember even more than the wonderful food Chef Suzanne provided is the compassion she and her staff exhibited and their willingness to help us out at a difficult moment. That combination of the highest quality product coupled with truly caring about her customer makes Chef Suzanne a rare individual. In my opinion, you could not find a better company to entrust your catering needs to.

I just experienced Chef Suzanne Catering for the first time this weekend and it was AMAZING! From the beginning intro conversation w/ Jan, to creating a menu (for my mom's PhD reception) to the actual delivery from Chef Suzanne herself... PERFECT! It could not have been more wonderful unless they had left business cards so I could have given them out to everyone expressing their rave reviews. Not only will I most certainly be using them for any future catering needs but I'm incredibly excited for their upcoming opening to their mini drive-thru location, on Oaklandon across the street from St. Simon the Apostle Church!Thank you so incredibly much Chef Suzanne, Jan and Team!!!!
