This place isn't open anymore!! We really wanted to have our wedding here and drove but and it looks extremely fun down! Never had their food, never had any service they never answered the phone, and ambiance is horrible.

I've been to Chateau Pomije 8 years ago and had a good experience then. But I don't remember the wines I tried and bought. This time I went with my boyfriend and had a really good time. Warning! Since it's going into Wedding Season, you have to call in and make reservations for a tasting. We called in and made it for 2:30 p.m. on a Saturday. We arrived and felt welcomed. The person helping us was very friendly and great with describing the wines. Loved the outside landscape of the vineyard and the stone building. The inside felt cozy and not overly decorated (very spacious). Bar was simple and plenty seating (tables). We did a tasting and had a cheese tray. We tried: Pinot NoirPinot BlancCabernet Sauvignon MerlotI was bummed that they were out of the Vranac (red wine). But my favorite was the Pinot Blanc (very refreshing and ended up taking a bottle home). and the Merlot (mild and great peppery taste in the finish). Their bottles are $20.00 and a glass of wine is $6.00. I would definitely return again! Good quality wines, nice service and gorgeous vineyard.

My husband and I were married at Chateau Pomije in September 2016 and couldn't have asked for a more beautiful setting or helpful team. Shelley was easy to reach and quick to respond to any questions we had during the planning process. Shelley and the team were able to execute our vision for the ceremony and reception while providing their expert suggestions on details we hadn't thought of. We had an outdoor evening ceremony and the reflection of the sun setting over the trees on the lake was absolutely breathtaking. After the nuptials, one of our photographers made mention that this was one of if not the most picturesque venues he'd shot all season. Our guests enjoyed a variety of meal options and the bar service was top notch. What an experience to share the estate-bottled wines with our closest friends and family!Chateau Pomije was able to accommodate even our vegetarian guests with a tasty entree. We so enjoyed our experience and wouldn't have changed a thing. Thanks again Shelley and team for making our special day unforgettable.

If you are thinking of planning wedding/reception be careful choosing this venue. Once you sign the papers you will receive very poor communication with the event planner. We would try emailing and calling with no response even leading up closer to the event. We even had a couple meetings scheduled where the person who was supposed to meet us was either late or was a no show. The pricing for alcohol was 20$ per person over 21 and we specifically said we did not want to have our guests paying for any drinks at their cash bar. They opened it anyway without regards for what we wanted. Very disappointing.

We really wanted my daughters wedding here. They don't make it easy. They wanted her to wait in the front by the people coming in the doors because we didn't 'rent' the other room to wait in. They finally let us in for just 15 min. If we used the bathroom, it was $25 per 30 min. They slipped charges in that weren't in the contract..and concocted a hideous door and 'church facade' the week before, without checking w us. We were the last wedding of the season, not sure why they couldn't wait. I'm glad it's over. Too bad to. The place could be nice if it was cleaned up and the owner wasn't so greedy.

I recently had a wedding at Chateau Pomije Winery. While the venue is gorgeous the service was very poor. We purchased a limited open bar which should have included 3 wines. They only offered 2 wines for a majority of the night. They forgot about scheduled appointments, attempted to overcharge us, took an extreme length of time to respond (sometimes weeks) and I would get conflicting information between staff. One of the coordinators was usually abrupt and sometimes rude to my vendors, family and myself. She also frequently referred to the terms of the contract (which was given to us late) and then they broke the terms listed in the contract. I would have liked to give this venue a high review because it is beautiful setting, however, the service and communication made it very challenging and frustrating with planning and coordinating with other vendors. I have communicated these concerns with the coordinator as well as the owner. The owner said he would get back to me within a week, it is now going on 3 weeks with no response

My daughter just got married at Chateau Pomije. We could not have been happier. We had the rehearsal dinner, ceremony and reception there. Wow. Everything was perfect. The venue, the food, the staff. And the wine! During the planning, we also had dinner there one weekend evening. Food was terrific. Highly recommend.

The Chateau Pomije was a picturesque, quiet, private setting for our daughter's June wedding. The lovely location made the wedding. It's a clean, well-maintained venue where all that we requested and paid for was delivered. The food was decent. The quality of the wines was disappointing. The one shadow on the occasion was the difficulty in getting prompt, thorough answers from the coordinator, Shelley. This caused much frustration during the year of planning. An email requesting last minute information two weeks before the wedding was met with the response that the events of the current week were priority. In the week before our daughter's wedding her day would be the priority. This reply, of course, increased the bride's stress. The bride and groom were happy with their day there so all ended well.
