Charlie's Pub and Grub

Food is always excellent, I eat here every time in the Haute. Had the best burger of my life last time I was there.

I love Charlie's! The food is delicious and comes in huge portions. The drinks are always on point. The service is top notch! It doesn't matter what day you visit, it's always busy but it doesn't take long to get a seat (especially if you're willing to sit at the bar).

I was looking for a local microbrew with pub food but ended up having a well crafted burger at a local pub. I got the swiss and mushroom tweety and loved it. Cute name for a serious half pounder. Bell's 2-hearted rounded out my meal. They have an impressive selection of beers - so you won't leave thirsty. Service was prompt and super friendly - thanks Kaitlyn. I can see myself back here to try other items on the Main.

Greattttt burger (tweetie melt with tots- super juicy) and a fun selection of local beers! Good vibes in the place and the bartenders were both very attentive and kind.

Had to give this Pub a try on National Cheeseburger Day, and it delivered a SOLID "Tweety Cheeseburger!" Crinkle cut fries were solid, as well as the appetizers, Charles Chips, which as fried pickles and the loaded tots. The burger was cooked perfectly, full of flavor and a great size, so bring your appetite. Also, the wide orders the Buffalo Blue Cheese Wrap! Delicious too! And a couple of cold brews was the perfect t ending to a great lunch! Service was quick, great environment full of locals knowing the local spot to go. Btw, must be 21 to enter! Looking for a local hangout with great food and equally great service, look no further!

Charlie's Pub and Grub in Terre Haute is a fun spot to grab a meal or an adult beverage. I started the meal off with an order of fried pickle chips and the loaded fries for the table. I'll be ordering BOTH of these appetizers again when I come back to Terre Haute. I also ordered the small order of boneless Buffalo wings. I'd recommend try the Stingin' Honey sauce on the wings! The service was quick and the food came out quick & hot. I highly recommend checking this pub & grub out. I know I'll be back!

Charlie's Pub and Grub is a really cool pub! My partner and I recently stopped by during a road trip to St. Louis. First off, we loved all the Pride colors and workers in Pride shirts! We just needed a quick beer and some chips and both were great along with the amazing service! We really enjoyed our quick stop at Charlie's and would love to stop here again in the future for a bigger meal as everything looked fantastic!

Well, I read some good reviews before we decided to go here. All sounded good and thought we would try it out. This is the 1st and last time I will be having a meal there.Now, I read where someone commented how good the loaded fries were, so that was the appetizer we ordered. In about 20 minutes we received our meals, I asked the food carrier about the loaded fries. He said he would go check. He came back and sat them on the middle of the table and asked it they looked alright. I should have listened to my brain and said no... but I am a nice person so I said they looked fine. They were barely warm and weren't what we expected cheese sauce poured on to French fries with a couple tablespoons of bacon bits and a big dip of sour cream thrown in top.The tenderloin was not very good, the bun was overly grilled so I just ate the tenderloin with no bun. The Onion Rings were nothing special...Then after our meal was over, we patiently stacked our dirty dishes and the excess foods on the plates to b removed... we waited, waited, seen our waitress several times but couldn't get her attention. Finally Seen someone at the register and asked if they could give me a ticked and take my payment. And we were gone, never to return.
