Charbonos

I went to Charbonos a couple weeks ago with my husband and enjoyed the food! We've been here a couple times and they are consistently good! I had the salmon that was perfectly cooked and my husband the pork chop and he loved it. We had the brownie sundae and it was just unbelievable! The staff is very nice, and check on you regularly. Unfortunately, last time we went it took them 25 minutes to come get our order. They apologized for the delay, and offered appetizer or dessert on the house, which was really nice, but definitely something that can be improved. The ambiance is pleasant and the style of the restaurant is unique, which I like :)There are a lot of parking spots, I recommend making a reservation ahead of time because it is regularly busy!

Went to enjoy a free Veterans Day meal and it was absolutely delicious. We started off with warm bread dipped in a house made oil dipping sauce. Yum. I had the house salad with the housemade cranberry poppyseed dressing, Yum. I chose the Tuscan chicken and hubs got the Chicken Pesto pizza, yum yum yum. Chicken was cooked perfectly over a bed of rice with spinach, mushrooms and sun dried tomatoes covered in a creamy Marsala sauce that was so good I wanted to lick the plate. The pizza had a bright tangy flavor and crispy crust, cooked perfectly. This is a Cunningham restaurant and I get a free dessert for my Birthday month and I chose a carrot cake to go that I will enjoy. Our server Macy was excellent always checking in on us. The place was decorated nicely for Veterans Day and they had a missing man table that was nicely done. I can't wait to return.

Ended up looking for a dinner spot in Avon and stumbled on Charbonos. No major complaints - friendly service, nice decor, and decent food. I got the bourbon pasta and liked the slight kick to the sauce, happy to see bread and oil served too because I was starving!Overall pretty decent, but nothing to write home about. Prices were pretty steep IMO though.

Have been here a few time always great service. The food is always good. The pasta always hits home . The great atmosphere is a huge plus

Went to Charbonos this evening as a last minute dinner outing, with our group of 5. We got seated right away, and had amazing service. We enjoyed calamari as our appetizer, and of course the fresh bread. The seafood scampi that was on special was to die for. Overall the experience was very pleasant as this was our first time back here in probably 10 years. Thank you to the wonderful staff for providing us with a great dining experience

Excellent view and excellent service! The drinks were also incredible. We had a great waitress, Macy, and any questions we had she made sure were answered in detail. She was very attentive to our table and the other ones she had (I definitely noticed). We had the Italian wedding soup, Chicken Piccata and the Bourbon Street and they were both outstanding and slight customizations we wanted were done too. Very cozy environment for a date or get together with family or friends. There's also a large side room for bigger parties . Their bread was VERY good too. Definitely a place to check out! They are also part of the Cunningham family so the level of service and food quality is above par.

The quality of the food and service at Charbonos is consistent with other Cunningham restaurants. Both are always good here. They have a variety of entrees on the menu for everyone, but my favorite is the Capri Salmon salad. Every time I've had it, it's so fresh and crisp, with some good briny flavor from the capers and olives. Charbonos complimentary bread and oil always hits the spot. The staff at this location is friendly and efficient. My one complaint is that it's a bit of a depressing ambiance here. It's dark with outdated decor. A refresh would go a long way to spruce up the dining experience.

Located in Avon, the inside definitely has a Mediterranean feel. Our server was very attentive and gave us good recommendations as to what to order. Started off with the calamari appetizer. The squid was seasoned well and not too chewy. Two dipping sauces: a lemon aioli and marinara sauce rounded out this starter. I ordered the shrimp scampi. The sauce was a creamier than my preference but the flavor more than made up for it. The shrimp was fairly large and not over cooked. The desert was a bread pudding with peach sauce and ice cream. This was enough for two people and not overly sweet. Great dining experience!

The fact this restaurant charges the wait staff for credit card fees is ridiculous. It is the restaurant accepting credit cards, not the staff. I hope the employees get together and file a class action lawsuit against these corporate thieves.
