Beautiful grounds and equally nice selection of distilled spirits and a super helpful bartender who serves up flights of cocktail options.Perfect place to relax, enjoy the scenery and drinks. The same property has a brewery and a winery.Trifecta of adult beverages.

I was really impressed with the look of this family owned business east of Martinsville. There are multiple buildings including the large winery, and a distillery to the south. (Inside the winery is a brewery too!) There is even a small pasture with goats and a mini pony/horse.After visiting the winery, I deposited my bottles in my car and walked over to the distillery. Inside is loaded with rustic objects and some stuffed animals in the loft area. The distillery has a lot fewer options than the winery side of the business. They offer a flight of three samples of liquor for $5 or three smaller cocktails for $8. I went with the straight sips and found the Artesian Water Moonshine (80 proof) to be my favorite over the flavored rums. The $5 was waived when I made a purchase of a bottle. As much as I enjoyed the taste, I did feel the small bottle was quite expensive even with the waived tasting fee.The service in both locations was friendly and informative. There was no pressure to make a purchase. Frankly, the quality sold the bottles on its own!The only negative is that they offer a very limited variety of hard liquor options. I'm not sure if they are going to expand their offerings in the future, but I would be more likely to purchase if they had something more to offer.Review #1695

This distillery is across the parking lot at the winery. There are patios here and at the other buildings. Also a covered picnic pavilion and fire pit with a soon to be finished entertainment stage.A friend from LA gave it a thumbs up. We tasted a flight of the spirits. The charge was only five dollars for three separate tastes. Drinking each neat I enjoyed them all and will be back for the aged versions. The tasting room attendant said it would be one more year for the bourbon and possibly two for the whiskey. Kudos to the staff for processing it all in house and no sourced spirits here.GOOGLE+ Craft Whiskey & Distilleries
