I lived here exactly 1 year, from 2019-2020. It was my 5th apartment in 8 years (and I'm now at my 6th), so when I say this was THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE I've EVER experienced with renting that's saying a lot! Starting from trying to even rent the place the leasing agents were AMAZING, especially Jodie. We were trying to rent from halfway across the country and she made it so smooth! Their communication is superb. As tenants we had zero issues. The maintenance staff was also very good and always very helpful and kind as well. They even showed up within 10 minutes one morning when my door knob fell off. The location is great, half an hour to IU health, 6 minutes to Costco, Trader Joes, Fresh Thyme, and a bunch of clothing stores (Ross, Burlington, etc.), less than 20 minutes to Fort Harrison State Park. Basically whatever you need is in short driving distance :) We had the 2 bedroom 2 bathroom and it was a great value, the layout was very practical and the complex was very quite and well kept. The only downsides were not having an elevator and the electricity bill in the winter due to heat being electric. Just 2 points to consider when moving in. Overall, I would highly recommend this complex, they're great!

Made a next day appointment - applied online Monday. Jodi said income looks good. I paid the $75. She said she would email me if something can up. I have NEVER been late on rent in 2 years of moving here to Indy or AT ALL ever - you can see that online in rent cafe. My income is good. Always pay my utilities and car payments. I work hard. I asked about credit score bc of divorce I am working on it. S he said they look at the whole picture. Clearly this company does not. She never responded to me just ghosted me. I found out by looking at my app on the website it said DECLINED. Very nice . I will never recommend any of this companies properties. Enjoy your $75 and the fact that you lost a great renter.I never received an email!

This is a great apartment complex to live at! I have no complaints. I live in a 1 bedroom apartment with my boyfriend and a big draw for us was the great layouts of the apartments and how spacious they are! We worried about 2 people in one apartment but it's been perfect. Big closets are a plus! We have a wood burning fireplace and use it almost every day during the winter. The staff is friendly, professional and responsive. One thing I really love is how well residents are communicated to about things happening here. They send information to us timely and with advance notice. They also send a newsletter that gives extra highlights to help the residents stay informed. I am appreciative of that because not all apartments complexes do that well. - Britta McArthur

Very highly recommend if you want care free living at its finest. The staff here is extremely responsive and maintenance is quick to fix any problems. The neighborhood is kept in pristine condition. Pool is kept clear and cleaned once or twice a week. Two fantastic grills out by the pool that cook a mean steak. Great environment with friendly neighbors. Free Starbucks coffee in the clubhouse is a plus too.--Rodney Manny

Lived here for 7 months and have really liked it! It has great amenities, maintenance is really responsive, and nothing beats the valet trash. I highly recommend this complex to anyone who is wanting an affordable apartment located near 465, keystone mall, and castleton!

I have lived in Indianapolis for four years now and lived in three different apartments and Castle Creek is the best apartment that I've lived in, let alone toured in Indianapolis. The community is always clean and the maintenance staff is amazing! They are all very kind and personable. It's a great community to live in!

All lease terms under 12 months require a short-term premium.Reservation Fee: $200Application Fee: $70 - single applicant; $100 - applicant & spouse (They DO run a credit check and it takes 10 minutes max to be approved)Security Deposit (Refundable): $200Detached Garage Monthly Fee: $95Carport Monthly Fee: $45 (Good enough unless your car can't survive the snow and below zero degree temperatures. Does its job and keeps the ice off your windshield so you don't have to wake up early)Pet Fee (Non-Refundable): $300 - 1st pet; Additional $150 - 2nd petMonthly Pet Rent: $25 per petPet Restrictions apply - please call leasing staff for details. Please note that rates, availability, deposits and specials are subject to change without notice and are based on availability. Lease terms vary and minimum lease terms and occupancy guidelines may apply. Contact leasing office for details.Community Amenities (From their website with my added commentary)-1, 2 and 3 Bedroom apartment homes-Individual garage and covered parking ($45/month)-WASHER and DRYER inside each unit (MAJOR PLUS)-Full day light windows with 2" blinds (yes, the windows have blinds...)-Gourmet outdoor kitchen (Not sure what they mean by gourmet.. yes, it was newer but nothing special...)-Expansive 24-hour fitness center (Not really... has three treadmills, two ellipticals, three leg/arm/tricep machines, some dumbbells, and three TV's with cable) -Vacation-style pool with lounge seating (Crowded during the humid summer months)-Resident business center with Wi-Fi (no one ever uses this)-Car care facility (Hose and vacuum cleaner)-Pet friendly environment (Everyone owns a dog!)-Maintenance-free living (You pay monthly for water/sewage) -Valet trash service (Still need to bring your trash to the dumpster...)-Automated rent payment options (ACH Debit)-Convenient access to I-465, Keystone and I-69 (one of the POSITIVES)This apartment complex is filled with college students and young adults. It can get loud at times so if you don't mind late night parties going on until 2AM then, by all means, this is the place for you! Had neighbors that would constantly fight and could hear everything through the walls. They even banged on my door in the middle of the night (SCARY since I lived alone!) so I complained to management and they gave them a "warning." Uhhh... didn't help because they knew I was the one who complained and kept doing it! (Apartments are set up so there are only four apts per floor-- two on one side and vise versa.) Luckily, they moved out after a few months so things got a little better. I rented a covered-parking spot for $45/month to avoid having to wake up early to scrape ice off my car since hospital rotations normally started at 6AM. If you don't pay for parking.. good luck finding a spot at night! Lots fill up quick and if you aren't home in time you'll have to park far. (Good exercise!) They did a good job clearing the snow from the parking lots and maintenance was pretty reliable. Lived on the third floor (FYI NO ELEVATORS) to evade centipedes and ants and ended up with some pretty strong legs towards the end of the year. My apartment layout (Honeysuckle) was around $1,000/month base rent which is a bit on pricey side but close to Costco, Target, Wal-Mart, Starbucks, the freeways, 15 minutes from Keystone mall, 20 minutes from broad ripple, and 20-25 minutes from Indianapolis. Lots of restaurants and even an Asian market across the street from Costco! Overall, GREAT LOCATION! Apartment itself was really nice. Carpet was 5/10 for cleanliness but bathroom/kitchen areas were updated. Convenient with the washer/dryer inside the unit. Came with central heating and air conditioning. Wish they had thicker walls but you can't have everything. Move-out was smooth-- manager did a quick walk-through to inspect everything and the security deposit was mailed to me a few weeks later. Had a discrepancy with management as they had asked me to move out a few weeks later with the promise they would reimburse me for it--NEVER HAPPENED. Ended up paying $1,000+ (water/sewage) even though I was only there for 1/2 a month. Kept calling to complain, management kept saying I would see a check in the mail-- NEVER DID. After about a year, I gave up and took a $500 loss. Moral of the story, GET BETTER, MORE ORGANIZED, PEOPLE TO MANAGE YOUR APARTMENT COMPLEX! Probably wouldn't live here again unless my apt came equipped with a bodyguard or I was guaranteed an apt next to normal people.

If you're considering moving into these apartments, please look elsewhere first!! I've been here for one year and will thankfully be moving out in 3 weeks. I live on the third floor and have had some sort of animal stuck in the wall for going on 2 weeks. Throughout the day, you could hear it scratching inside the wall and tearing apart the wall from the inside out. I've submitted multiple maintenance requests and they have yet to resolve the issue. I was literally told, "Well, we're not going to tear down the wall. So if it gets into your apartment, call emergency maintenance to try and catch it." I'm sorry but that's NOT an option with a 7 month old infant in the apartment!!!! I've had to call the Indiana Board of Health and they will be coming out for an inspection. On top of this issue, there is a huge gap under the front door and lots of windows causing heat to escape during the winter. During these winter months, my electric bill has been $400+. Another issue that these "luxury" apartments refuse to fix. Absolutely ludicrous! Again, please consider another apartment community!!!

I tell you what, I have nothing bad to say about Castle Creek Apartments. I've lived in these apartments for about 6 months now and my experience has been sublime. All employees at Castle Creek have been nothing short of excellent. Rick, the head of maintenance at Castle Creek, is most likely the quickest maintenance man on the north side of Indianapolis. Then in the main office, everyone always has a smile on their face when helping you, no matter how many times you get locked out of your apartment. They also offer some great all inclusive deals as well. Such as, Starbucks brewed coffee, a trash valet, washer and dryer in your apartment, and a place to wash your vehicle (which I haven't used but like the idea that I can at some point). Overall, this is a great place to live. Really good bang for your buck.
