Capri offers excellent Italian in an old world atmosphere. There are three settings: dining room, bar/club complete with fireplace and windows to the patio that shaded by a pergola covered by a huge vine. Service is always prompt and impeccable. The food is solidly excellent. Well crafted. Comforting. Satisfying. Great menu dishes. Specials are worth enjoying. Wonderful cocktails and wine list. Questions? Don't hesitate to ask your server.

Do you love traditional Italian food? Old money rich vibes? Great service? This is the place for you! Locally owned, Capri has been in the dining scene since 1951. And some of the staff members that work there have been servicing for over 15 yrs! Our waiter was lovely and very educational and knowledgeable on the menu and drink items. I forgot his name but wish to thank him over and over again. My mother-in-law is deaf and he made the effort to sign to her "happy birthday." Will not forget the day we celebrated her here with the perfect delicious Italian food.

Okay 2nd visit after 2 years and Capri is still about the experience. Experience with service, taste and just everything combined! I loved my grilled eggplant which was charred to perfection with the right blend of tomatoes and olives. And don't get me started on the Gnocchi di Patate - beautiful potato gnocchi with fresh mozzarella, flavorful tomato sauce (doesn't taste like store bought tomato sauce - ahem! Just beautiful!!!! The spirit was very festive and many customers were enjoying secret Santa and having a great time! It just felt so right and so good! Amazing!

My favorite Italian around Indianapolis. Excellent service without the outrageous dollar point. Can't get enough of the hand made pasta. Romantic ambiance. Clean restaurant and restroom. The whole staff works together for a welcoming environment. A fine dining experience for sure. Already looking forward to going back.

This hidden gem is next 2 Walmart.Free standing building/Plenty of parking/Beautful outdoor dining in Summer Service is impeccable each & every time!Inside is cozy & perfect 4 date nite or Lunch The food hands-down is the best Italian restaurant outside of Italy.HIGHLY Recommend

Capri is so good and a hidden gem! We took our toddlers there and I was hesitant because it is family friendly but not many young kids around but our server Jason made me feel at ease and treated them like they were just other patrons. They make some of their noodles in house, which can't be beat. I had the spaghetti bolognese and it was a perfect portion and so good! If you are coming on a weekend I could suggest making a reservation. Since they are a family friendly restaurant I would like to see them add a changing table to the women's restroom. They are fairly inexpensive and a bummer to see they didn't have one when they do have families dining there.

I found this gem on the Hamilton County Eats & Drinks Facebook page and am I glad I did! Four of us went for dinner and everything was great- from the ambiance to the drinks to the food to the service. Fortunately our server was Ryan and he contributed greatly to the success of the evening- he even showed us a picture of his 5 month old Ezra and of course I then made him look at pictures of my grandkids I'm sorry I didn't take pics of our food, which I usually do. My friend had the veal chop, his wife had Ravioli Aurora, my husband had a chicken dish but I'm not sure which one, and I had a chefs special that had shell pasta, homemade Italian sausage, mushrooms and more in a fabulous provolone sauce. Everyone loved what they had and most of us took home leftovers. A 5 star experience all around!

We had a delicious New Years Eve dinner at Capri. We had a large party reservation, but plans changed and it ended up being just two. They were able to accommodate quite quickly to downsize us comfortably. First things first -- food and drink were all delish! We began with the warm apple salad (sans bacon) and went on to both enjoy the butternut squash ravioli and finished with the lemon ricotta cake!Let me also say, as a Gin gal, the Bee's Knees cocktail was delish. I loved that there was ample parking, warm ambiance inside, and seemingly an upstairs (though we dined down.)The only less than ideal experience was the service, unfortunately. Our waitress seemed anxious and/or stressed--we waited quite a while to be greeted, our table candle was never lit (until we asked), the waitress never introduced herself (again, until we asked), and her energy seemed in a rush. It was a holiday evening, after all, which can get pretty hectic so I hope to dine again for a more rounded review, but service can greatly impact a dining experience, as we all know.Definitely worth checking out for delicious Italian and would be great for date night, business, or special occasion.They also seemed to have a good sized patio which is likely wonderful in the summer.

We came here for a tasty lunch and afternoon drinks. Everything was so good and I was sad to leave. I'll definitely be coming back again! Make sure you wear something casual to formal, no hats. Ty they have a top notch gigantic espresso machine and will make some damn good espresso martinis upon request.

Absolutely love sitting in the bar in this place. Great food, great setting and even better people watching! The service is always top notch, the specials are always interesting and tasty, and the regular menu is diverse and dependable. You always get a great meal.The restaurant itself is more formal, lots of linen, silverware and glassware but the Bar is more relaxed and cozy. Highly recommend!
