Canterbury Manor Stables & Tack Shoppe

This was such an awesome experience! My daughter hasn't been feeling well and begged to see a horse. I called the number listed and we welcomed us to her stable. We were able to see several horse, sheep, and the kicker for us... a peacock! We'll definitely be back!

Never Judge a book by its cover! An old adage that is very true here. My girls all ride here and have for the last 5 or 6 years. There are many more stables that are ultra modern and much newer and better kept but, I will say this my girls love it here. Its almost as if they have all become family with everyone else here. Sandy is a good teacher and has help my girls develop their skills and she cares about the girls. She gives the girls the opportunity to learn everything from cleaning horse poop to Jumping in Shows. They've learned more than just riding and taking care of horses they are learning responsibility and camaraderie as well and with some good people. I've asked my girls several times if they would want to try a newer stable and I always get the same answer in dolby surround sound "NOOO!!" By the way YES that is my daughter Brianna in the pictures from last year.

Great people and they teach very good technique and kids love the teachers. We have been going there for years and I couldn't imagine switching. Hours could be a bit more convenient, but they are accommodating.
