"We carried out an early dinner from here and it was just OK. It was about 4:30 and the parking lot was already beginning to fill up with a number of people joining those already at the bar, so it's obvious it's a popular local choice.The menu offers a lot of appetizers, wings, sandwiches and hoagies, burgers, wraps and various main dishes like fried shrimp and pork chops. Some of the main dishes are available in a smaller portion for senior citizens. They also have specials nightly including meatloaf and steak night. I wanted to try their Irish pot roast that now comes with mashed potatoes and gravy (vs the former new potatoes,) carrots and the kind of dinner rolls you buy in a cardboard container stuck together in one block. The menu listed on Yelp shows a second pot roast dish over toast as well. I so wanted to like this dish as pot roast is my favorite. While the meat was very tender just like you make at home, it had an odd sweet taste that seemed to come from the gravy and some other kind of taste I couldn't place. A liberal amount of gravy was served over everything, which I normally would've appreciated. The carrots were well-cooked and tender, but the mashed potatoes tasted like instant to both me and my husband. Not something I would order again and after a few bites I passed it on to my husband.He got the fried fish and fries. He liked that the fish was cut into tender size and said the taste was fine. The fries were just OK, kind of mushy without too much taste.I imagine lots of people come here as a place to hang out at the bar versus having dinner. Maybe other food choices would have been better picks."

"After reading my fellow yelpers reviews of this establishment we decided to eat breakfast here.Walking in all we saw were booths, I asked if we could get a chair on the side well, luckily there are tables with chairs in the back area, where you can't see them. We were greeted immediately by our wonderful waitress who got our drink order. Looking at the menu for breakfast there are a lot of great choices, we chose the platter that we are going to split, 2 blueberry pancakes with fresh blueberries, 2 turkey bacon, (we have to substitute this out instead of the regular bacon and sausage) 2 sausage links and one egg over medium, 1 egg sunny side up and we added hash browns.The order didn't take long at all.Let me tell you ..the pancakes here are deeeeelicious! They have a homemade blueberry butter on the pancakes with strawberries...oh myyyyy. They were so fluffy and cooked perfectly.Everything tasted great.Would highly recommend-Will definitely come here again when in town."

"Been there twice, I can now confidently say most of the food items on their menu are amazing. The name in itself "Chai & Kathi Roll Lounge" brings together two favorites from India. Their grilled sandwiches are crisp with a delicious filling and they have almost same filling options in Kathi's (wraps) so based on whether you're a wrap person or a sandwich person, you can choose. They also have steamed momos which are presented beautifully. I love that the vibe is relaxing and there is a pool table for groups/couples to enjoy. The only one thing that could improve is the seating. While chairs and tables are preferred over couches when eating, the chairs aren't too comfortable."

"Wanted to try a new place in the garage and regrettably ended up ordering at Yoke. Ordered a steak sandwich and quickly realized that my order would take awhile as the cooks were eating and talking for about 5 minutes until a worker comes up to me and says they're out of steak!! Was very upset at this as it should've been told from the beginning... I order a chicken pesto sandwich on the spot which comes out 5 minutes later. The sandwich was incredibly bland and it didn't even have Pesto!!!! If you're thinking about trying this spot, I would recommend any other restaurant in The Garage."
