"We love ordering from here especially for lunch. The portions are large and the lunch specials include salad and soup. Another thing to note is that the lunch menu is the same as the dinner menu, but significantly less expensive. The staff is always friendly and the food is exceptionally well done. If you've never had Thai food before, think of the level of spice you think you can handle and take it down a level when ordering. If you have had Thai food before, they have varying levels of spice and can even do 1/2 levels."
"Great food. The menu was huge and I believe I had the Thai fat noodles with crab Rangoon. My wife had the rice an curry and we both had a water and a Thai tea which was a good choice because the orders were a medium heat and it soothed the throat and stomach. I wish I was there when someone ordered the Thai hot I wanted to see their reaction on the first bite!Bathrooms were cleaned but outdated and dining area was clean and staff friendly and fast. Will come back when in town."

"Asian cuisine is my comfort food. And Thai Recipes has the best Tom Yum Goon where every spoonful soothes the soul! Whenever I'm under the weather, I like a nice warm soup (like who doesn't, right?!) I found out about Thai coconut soup from another place at 56th street, but was so thrilled to find Thai Recipes Restaurant on the south side of the city. And their soup is amazing.I recently tried their chicken and beef pad Thai, and again amazing! They have a really good coconut chicken soup as well if you're not a seafood lover, that I would recommend. And everything is so reasonably priced. If you're going for the first time, maybe go during their lunch hours, for you to try some items at a smaller portion and a slightly smaller price. But you can get a feel for it before you order dinner, at a slightly higher price. Still reasonable just slightly higher. I've not had an opportunity to dine in- I usually order to-go. But it's a nice, clean and calm atmosphere when I do go inside. So if you love, delicious Thai food check it out and let me know what you think !"
"Decent Thai food in the area! I ordered take out, but the inside looked nice and inviting. Plenty of parking around it.I like that they have multiple levels of heat. I got medium for my drunken noodles, but didn't get much (more like a mild). I also got vegetarian spring rolls. A fair price too. I'd come back!"
"Food and service were excellent! Really nice upscale decor and clean. We will return. We ate here last sept and l thought l had already left a review"
"One of the better Thai food restaurants around. Great service clean restaurant, great food and located on Massachusetts Ave. Try Thaitanium you will like it."
"The best Thai food in Indy hands down. Anytime I am craving Thai food I always go here even though it's almost a 30 minute drive from where I live. Service is always so quick and friendly. Everything we ordered came out hot and fresh. They do so much takeout so you know it's a good spot! The interior of the restaurant is pretty small but I've never had to wait more than 15 minutes for a table. Chicken satay comes with two delicious sauces and the pad se ew is packed with flavor and their noodles are the best part."
"Updating this review to reiterate that this is some of the best Thai food in Indy. EatThai not only packs the flavor but is very thoughtful in navigating dood allergies- which is so appreciated. I'm especially a fan of their drunken noodles with tofu and their fresh spring rolls. I'd argue that they make the best spring rolls around- I've made two orders into a meal- they're that good! You're in for a treat!"
"OMG this is one of my favorite Thai restaurants to order basil rice from. I got the medium spice level with chicken and it is the bomb. The price is very reasonable and the service is great. The decor is very nice. I typically order to go because I love to eat it at home but they are quick at making the food. If you are looking for good Thai food definitely check this place out. You won't be disappointed."
"The location is less than ideal as it's kind of tucked off and in a weird strip mall, but I'm so glad my friend recommended us check this out! I don't care too much about the outward appearance but if this center got a little glow up, I feel like business would be even better!Anyway, I always get the rare beef pho and it is SO good. I'm always craving this when the weather starts to get chilly so we visit quite a bit. Usually for takeout but we have dined in a few times and the service has always been really great. My husband is more adventurous with the menu and has tried a few other things that he enjoyed, but I really only go for the pho and the crab Rangoons. Now that I'm writing this review, I think I want some pho for dinner!!"
"Food: if you're looking for authentic Thai food, this is the place to go in the Castleton area near the Castleton Square, Mall. Environment: it's usually pretty quiet it can't get busy around lunchtime. Yesterday I went around six and we were the only one in the restaurantStaff: staff is always friendly, gives incredible recommendation."
"This is the second time I have gone here. First- what a great location - literally on the Monon which is great as they do have a small outside patio.I had the drunken noodles and a Thai iced coffee. Both were excellent. If you have never tried the iced coffee, do yourself a favor and give it a try. It is made with sweetened condensed milk and is delicious. The inside of the restaurant is very nice and a bit upscale. Service was excellent. Others in my party had the basil fried rice and the pad Thai. They both really enjoyed their meals."

LOVE, love love this place!! i've been going here since i was in kindergarten i still remember them in their original building. The owner is awesome and super sweet, every time I go in there he's always working all the staff is attentive and incredible, always super helpful! As i said i've been going here for years i have never ever had a bad thing or have been disappointed,, potions are always very good and everyone with me always usually has some left overs. The padd king beef, has always been one of my favorite dishes it has lots ginger, mushrooms and other vegetables that I love, The pineapple fried rice,is to die for if you love that salty sweet combo, it has chunks of fresh pineapple, sliced chicken, onions, and cashews all served in a carved out pineapple Appetizers the beef satay with peanut sauce, almost like a classic beef stick you'd get at a delivery Chinese restaurant but 10x better, they car it on the grill so you get more of a smokey flavor and then dipped in that almost sweet peanut sauce sooo good vegetable spring rolls, you can not go wrong with these they are super delicious crunchy and full of flavor, they're full of cabbage, other Thai veggies and thin rice noodles,, served with a sweet chili sauce to give it that perfect little bit of heat .

Thai hot spot! I have had a lot of Thai food in Indy but this is my absolute favorite spot hands down!!!!The service is exceptional and their food is absolutely delicious ! We live very close so getting take out is amazing and always tastes like we were sitting in the restaurant, every single meal is made fresh and it's still steaming hot after you get home! The inside is super cute- mom and pop feel and the employees are all so wonderful, helpful, and nice! I crave this place and come here quite often!!

Dine in is lovely and welcoming. I've mostly done carry-out or delivery. So glad to have this quality of Thai food on the Southside of Indianapolis. The massaman curry is among my favorites. Usually mild with a rich blend of spices, and peanuts. You can always ask for more spice, if you prefer.

Bangkok Kitchen Thai is in a little strip mall filled with little restaurants. The parking lot has nice big spaces and plenty of ADA spaces. The restaurant is small with tables fairly close together. Fortunately, the dining room is less than half full and guests are spread out. The seating is soft and comfortable. Glass chandeliers provide light and there is Thai art on the wall. Light jazz plays in the background. We were seated fairly quickly and soup is brought to the table immediately before you order. The broth bases soup doesn't have a lot of flavor, but is a nice starter. The lunch menu offers the traditional Thai favorites. They have a full bar with an amazing selection of wines. Meals come out fairly quickly, before we finished soup. Service is fast, maybe even rushed. My Pad Kee Mao is plated beautifully with a small bowl of salad, egg roll, orange wedge and entree. The egg roll is crunchy and tasty with a sweet Thai dipping sauce. The Pad Kee Mao is delicious with lots of vegetables including straw mushrooms, baby corn, beans, pepper, tomato and more. There isn't a lot of flavorful sauce, but the plate is good and a great value for lunch. My husband loves his Pad Thai. Servers are friendly. Water glasses were kept full. I'd come back and easily recommend.

I am visiting Indy for the Indianapolis Monumental Half Marathon and spent most of the day, post race, wandering around and scoping out places to eat. The Bottleworks District was recommended to me by a few locals, so I decided to check it out. Ironically, I had ran past Thaitanium earlier in the day during the race and made a mental note to check them out.I was starving by the time I made my way there, so I decided to give it a try. I'll admit I was a bit leery as I've had some delicious Thai food in Las Vegas and other cities, and from what I've found in my foodie search, Indianapolis didn't seem to be a big city for Thai food.I was extremely surprised at how awesome this spot was! I was greeted and promptly seated, my waitress was very friendly and attentive the entire time. The inside is warm and welcoming, with a decent sized dining room and a full bar.I started with the Lychee Martini, which is my favorite drink, but I can only enjoy it at Thai restaurants with a liquor license. This was one of the best Lychee Martini's I've had, the right balance of sweetness and fruity. Yum!!While enjoying my martini, I debated between a few different entrees, but ultimately decided to try the Ginger Lovers with Chicken. My waitress described the hot level as about an 8 on a scale of 1-10, so I opted for that. I'm a spice lover and the hot level had a little kick, but you could still enjoy the flavor of the dish. Speaking of which, the ginger came through the complex sauce and perfectly balanced the spice. There was a healthy amount of chicken and veggies, I ended up taking half of it back to my hotel! If you are searching for delicious Thai food in Indy, this is your spot!!

I love this little charming restaurant that is tucked away in a strip mall in the Keystone Crossing area. The service was excellent, they make you feel so very welcome as soon as you walk in the door. Two words to describe the food, so good. I can say one of the Thai fried rice was one of the best I've had. This place is good for flying solo, date night or hanging with friends.

I had the best experience here on a Saturday afternoon and cannot wait to return. This tiny little place is absolutely gorgeous inside. The all design touches were beautiful: the origami in the bathroom, the fresh orange blossom water in the bathroom, the greenery throughout the restaurant, the overall cleanliness! The food was incredibly fresh and delicious. I had a salad and the vegetable spring wraps and all the veggies were super fresh and tasty.

"Staff is phenomenal! Tried a dish I never thought I would , the papaya salad!!! It was DELICIOUS!!! Spicy not sweet like u would think it would be. Finely cut up papaya with tomato lots of spices and oils, let me tell you it was awesome!!!Also got the crab Rangoon , was filled full of stuffing and deep fried to a golden brown. For my entree I had the orange chicken Thai hot, definitely wasn't as hot as some places but the chicken was cooked perfectly crisp and had plenty of coating. The place is beautifully decorated and plenty of seating available. Highly recommended!"
"Tucked away in Broad Ripple near the canal, Chiang Mai is one of my go-to takeout and lunch spots. The quality is always consistent and they have a fabulous lunch special.I'm a big fan of their curries (especially the green curry), fried rice dishes (omg the Hawaiian Fried Rice), and of course their noodles (the pad kee mao / drunken noodles are a must-order). Don't forget to treat yourself to a Thai iced tea.Don's sleep on Chiang Mai!"
"Tried 3 appetizers: Chicken Satay - delicious!!! Thai Dumplings- just melt in your mouth and have the best flavor with the pork and shrimp and then the spicy calamari- good flavor and perfectly tempura'd!!We ordered different entrees. Pad Thai with Chicken, Ginger chicken, Yellow curry with chicken. Spicy Basil Fried Rice with Chicken. Every dish was a delight to each bite. Definitely a place to repeat visits. Service was fast and very personable. The new owner was very nice and answered all of our questions. Seriously, a 5 star place due to the flavor of the food and the service!!!"
"Nice Sunday lunch spot, stop in and enjoy the food. Parking is not terrible and the prices are good for the amount of food you get. The service is like a fast casual restaurant order at the counter and find your seat. Enjoy!"
"This is one of my favorite lunch spots. The lunch menu isn't extensive but gives enough variety while ensuring that they can get those items out quickly.Service is very attentive and fast. They never let your water get below half full. I've seen a few new customers be amazed that the coconut soup comes out before they've even ordered. It comes with every lunch option but it sometimes comes out so quickly that they may not have even had a chance to see that on the menu.I almost always go for the pad see ewe. I've tried several things on the menu but keep coming back to that. Every lunch option comes with soup, salad and a small spring roll. And you can't beat the price. Everything is about $10 for that full meal."
"My husband wanted Thai food tonight for dinner, so we headed to Brownsburg to Thai Basil. Easy to find with a private parking lot. Lunch is offered from 11:00 - 3:00 p.m. and dinner is from 4:00 - 9:00 p.m. Note they are closed between 3:00 - 4:00 p.m.When we arrived, a patron was leaving and informed us they were only offering takeout. Their furnace had broken so there wasn't heat. They did have a couple of large space heaters where guests could be warm while waiting for their takeout. It was very considerate of them.We ordered the Thai Dumplings with ground pork and veggies wrapped in a wonton skin and steamed. I love these dumplings and should place 2 orders as my lunch or dinner. They are that flavorful and so tasty. My husband ordered the Pad Wun Sen, #27, hot, with chicken, stir-fried silver noodles, and mixed veggies (no mushrooms) in a tasty brown sauce He loves his Thai food, prepared hot, and tonight did not disappoint. He was very happy with dinner.I ordered my usual Pad Kee Mao, #26, medium heat, flat noodles, chicken, stir-fried egg, and mixed veggies (minus broccoli and add cabbage) in a Thai Basil sauce. I love the flat noodles and could order just a plate of flat noodles without meat or veggies. They are never overcooked and delicious. The chicken was tender and bite- size, plus the veggies were crisp-tender. It's always my favorite Thai meal. The restaurant was chilly without heat, but as always, the server was polite and friendly, plus made a point to make sure the heater was close to me. Our order arrived quickly, and we were on our way within minutes.Even under unwanted conditions, they remained open, professional, and apologetic. We are always very happy dining at Thai Basil."
"Tucked off the south east corner of 32 and Wheeler in Westfield. Looks like a nondescript little strip mall from the front, but has a really nice and inviting interior that feels more upscale. Went to lunch on a Wednesday, got in when they were not too busy. Ordered and got food quickly. Friendly staff. They have nice lunch specials - I had the pad thai and salad with ginger dressing (also offers choice of soup). It also came with a nice crip spring roll. Tasty, good portions, and was only $12. #yum ReviewsByRL"
"So one of my guilty pleasures is very spicy food. Whenever we eat Thai I order the volcano chicken extra Thai hot and when they pour that spicy goodness on that hot plate it turns into a steam that is just below the level of tear gas. Inevitably the entire restaurant breaks out into coughing fits as I'm enjoying my ridiculously hot food. Service can be slow on a Friday or Saturday between 530-8 so I recommend a different time!!!!"
"We arrived and say the closed sign, but decided to check the door -- and so glad we did! They had forgotten to flip it :)The staff welcomed us in and told us they are Thai Muslims, which was super cool. All of the food is halal :)We were sat quickly and brought waters and this beautiful soup. The flavors were delicate, but not minimal. It was delicious!Kaeng Hoa -- DELIGHTFUL! It was perfectly fried and delicious, but paired with the sambal it was absolutely divine!24 -- pad kee mao -- a personal favorite at all Thai shops. This one is a bit different in that the noodles aren't the big flat ones you'd expect, but still a flat rice noodle. Holy cow! The flavors are tantalizing. 26 -- pad see ewe -- a new adventure! My forever dining partner couldn't resist and absolutely loved it! I tried a bite and it was simply heavenly! Definitely have found our new Thai shop on the west side!"
"Good clean restaurant, and quick service. They seemed a little bit cheap on the salad, but the main course was fine. I got the stir fried vegetables with chicken.I will go here again"
"Stoped in here on a random Tuesday after Christmas. Didn't have reservations but was able to be seated right away. Very cute inside, not super big, but quaint. Our server was very straight to the point, no smiles, no conversation just seating people, taking orders, bringing out orders and handy to go orders. Really good menu and priced reasonable. I had chicken fried rice, it was very good. The rice is very fluffy and moist. While this doesn't seem like a big deal, it kind of is because I've had other fried rice that was very dry. Thai Iced Tea was also good. A little on the sweeter side, but good.Solid place to get reasonably priced Thai Food."
"Vibes: Seem to be primarily a DoorDash or delivery place but the service was very fast. It is good for dine in too. I got the pad see ew. It came out fast and hot. The noodles were great with mild spicy flavor. Thai Basil is used and that was one of the highlights because it really adds Thai flavor to the entire dish. Side of Tom yum soup. The veggies are very well stir fried. There is Carrot, bell pepper, crispy crunchy lettuce, and broccoli and they all have a slight stir fry char and aren't undercooked either. The same goes for the egg. Execution was very good because it is not swimming in weird sauce it's properly stir fried and seasoned. Portion size was just right and I had a little to take home for leftovers. $13 made this very very affordable."
"Great food, fast service, cute decor Recently visited Thai Corner and was seated immediately. The staff is so quick and friendly! We ordered the Chicken Pad Thai and Chicken Pad See Ew. Our food came out so fast and tasted delicious. I also ordered the Mango Sticky Rice. It was good, but the rice was a little too salty for my liking. Would come back again and recommend!"
"My partner and I have found a new favorite! The prices are definitely more mid range but you get what you pay for in terms of quality and quantity. Our favorites include the tofu surprise (vegan friendly!) which comes with either fried or steamed rice and veggies. They offer the sauce on the side to pour over the veggies and tofu which is perfect for me. The tofu had a nice breading. Tender and juicy. The sauce itself has a little heat to it, along with a little sweetness. It's not overwhelming and easy on the belly. The flavor profile is probably more subtle, but I think it pairs nicely. The crispy veggie spring rolls are by far the best thing on the menu. They can stand on their own (without the sauce) or pair nicely with it. They don't give a lot of sauce for the (5) rolls given, which is kind of a bummer, but outside of that, very flavorful and they have a nice C R U N C H to them. Packed with veggies and, though fried, also easy on the belly. We order for delivery and have never gotten cold food. They package their items to maintain their temperature. Workers are also very nice to chat with you if you have questions about their menu, too!Give them a try!"
"Felt like I should update this since it's been four years. Asian Grill used to be one of my favorite restaurants, and it's definitely still good, but just not the same. They've completely redone the entire concept. No longer a sit-down, waiter-comes-to-the-table situation. Now you order at a counter, or even at a kiosk, and you go up to get it when your number is called. This has all sorts of ramifications...smaller menu (many of the best items slashed, like avocado soup, samosas, etc.), no ability to subsitute things or ask for things to be left out (they will tell you no). Theoretically this is supposed to make it all go faster, since one of the common complaints with the restaurant before was the slow wait time. My parents said they've been there a few times since the remodel and it was quick, but last night we went and it was not very fast, so makes me wonder whether the conceptual change accomplished what it was going for.Food is still good, I just don't feel strongly about it like I did back in the day. Partially because a lot of new, great restaurants have come into the area since the years when I frequented Asian Grill (~2013-2015ish)."
"Thai Lanna is one of my favorite Thai restaurants. The décor is warm and inviting with a comfortable atmosphere and soft, relaxing music. The service has always been great and each meal has been consistently good. Yes, it is located along Rockville Road, an incredibly busy 4 lane road, in a small strip center. Once your inside the stress of the outside world seems to disappears.Thai Lanna serves lunch and dinner. Dinner selections are the Thai standards of salads, noodles, fried rice dishes, stir-fried, and curry options. They serve lunch Monday through Friday (11-2). The lunch options ($8.95) come with soup and a wonton. We've had the Thai Veggie Egg Rolls and the steamed pork Dumplings. Both are very good. I do miss the egg rolls that came with the lunch selections and replaced with a wonton. After making your entree decision select your meat, vegetarian or tofu. Then determine your favorite spice level from no spice, medium, hot to Thai hot. Start with a lower spice level if your not a spicy person.Hubby has tried the Phad Sweet and Sour with stir-fried pork (choice of meat, tofu or vegetarian) with tomato, cucumber, onion, bell pepper, pineapple, carrot and celery. It's very flavorful with lots of veggies. His favorite entree is the Spicy Fried Rice with egg, onions, bell peppers, carrots, tomato, green onions, snow peas and basil. If you enjoy fried rice then try this. I am hooked on PahdKee Mao ( Drunken Noodle) with choice of stir-fried meat, flat noodles, mushrooms, onions, tomato, bell pepper and basil. I love the sauce, the large, tender noodles and all the veggies. When I do want a change I enjoy the Massaman Curry with choice of meat/tofu in coconut milk, Massaman curry paste, potatoes, onions, brocolli, carrots and ground peanuts. I love curry, the rich potatoes and the nutty, coconut flavors.Don't miss this wonderful Thai restaurant in Avon on Rockville Road next door to Ugly Crab."
"This lunch special is AMAZING! For $11 you get soup, salad, and a heaping entree. We were literally blown away and plan on coming back! The spicy tofu pad thai (extra spicy) was incredible. I wanted to take home leftovers, but I ate the whole thing then and there. The interior of this place is so cozy! It was decorated so, so cute for the holidays. Service is super quick! This team knows how to operate efficiently for sure. Get here early, because it will fill for lunch. Also, the door is very heavy, so it's not locked it just needs a good shove :)"
"We were happy with all the dishes we ordered. The pumpkin curry, on special, was the stand out. The curry flavor was very good. The kao soy was on the sweeter side, but the curry flavor was good. It was great they had tofu along with the meat options to choose from. It gets very busy for dinner service, but the servers have a sense of urgency. There are a few tables inside and an outdoor table too."
"I was promptly greeted and asked if dining in or carrying put. I decided to dine in. Mostly carryout restaurant but has a nice small dining area. It was a little busy at the time so it took a few minutes to place my order because there was only one waitress. I ordered hot tea, crab ragoon and Kung Pao Shrimp with white rice. The crab ragoons were huge the filling was not good at all and had no crab and were flavorless. I received my order with fried rice and it took two attempts to get the white rice. My meal was just okay. The entrée was bland. There was no Pao to my dish. I asked for spicy and definitely was not. Didn't taste authentic, more cooked from frozen. I had plenty of food leftover but left unfulfilled. Although I was the only one in the restaurant at the time, I didn't see her again during my meal. At the end she appeared and asked for a to go box. Once she gave it to me I started writing and finished this review and decided she wasn't coming back. I stood up and she was behind me watching something on her phone and eating! She was surprised to see me! Although lousy service I still tipped, less than normal!! Although I have a new place for mani/pedi, that's my first and last time at Rice Cooker!"
"It was the monthly luncheon of the 60+ Travel Ladies Club and a Southsider was the organizer. The food and service was fantastic. Can food be too authentic? My orange shrimp was deliciously flavored. There are restaurants that minimize their flavors to appeal to an American palate.Thai Charm is authentic. Even mild was a bit spicy for my palate, however the food burst with flavors. Their food is served in generous portions. The restaurant accommodated the special dietary needs of one diner. The ambiance between the wait staff and our group, there were ten of us, was excellent. The owner came and chatted with us. One of our members had recently returned from touring Thailand and a great conversation ensued. We love supporting independent restaurants. With Thai Charm only being in business 16 months (as of July 2024); we all wished them the best of success."
"This place is amazing. Hidden gem, or at least it was to me. Went for lunch, the drunken noodles were amazing, massaman curry was delicious too. Great service but no one was in there! In my opinion, it should be packed. If you're in the area you have got to try it."
"Awesome lunch specials! We got the yellow curry and two rolls for $23. You also get a soup and salad! The service was quick and kind!"
"The food and service are top notch in this little Thai restaurant in Westfield. We stopped for lunch after a morning of running errands. The dining room is colorful with umbrellas hanging from the ceiling and other Thai decor that makes you forget that you are in a strip mall. There are only 10 tables, but they are spaced apart nicely. There is a bar in the room that serves wine, beer and saki. The room is dim with love tunes by Sinatra and Elvis playing in the background. Our server, Kyle, is all welcoming smiles as she brings us a bowl of Thai soup before we order. The soup is hot and good on this cold afternoon. They offer a dozen lunch specials. She asks it we have been in before and tell us that they have been open for two years. I order the Pad Kee Mao with Tofu, as I'm trying to eat a little healthier. Lunch comes out quickly. A small salad and egg roll are included with lunch. The egg roll is crispy and the salad fresh. There is a generous portion of Pad Kee Mao and vegetables are hot and medium spice level is perfect for me. My lunch is delicious. My husband has Pad Thai with Chicken. He said the noodles were cooked to perfection. He ate every last morsel. The hostess and Kyle kept our water glasses full and checked on us frequently. There's plenty of parking in the strip mall. The restaurant and rest rooms are handicapped accessible and clean. We will definitely be back."
