"Tried Carnitas El Tarasco for lunch on Sunday. I love their food! The meat has an amazing flavor and tenderness. I also appreciated how their menu had unique food items that I don't see at other Mexican restaurants in Indy. Their carne asada tacos, guac, and Torta Ahogada (I've only seen this at one other place in Indy) tasted amazing. Definitely coming back for more food! "I love this place! Probably the best street tacos! The staff was very friendly too.I ordered the tripa, suadero, and the lengua. If you order dorado style, they fry it and it ll be nice and crunchy. I only ordered one of those bc I didn't want everything to be too oily. I also ordered a small cup of consume to dunk my tacos in. I can't wait to come back honestly. So many things to try. The only bad thing about this place is the parking. Get here early!"

"We've been here several times but I had always forgot to do a review. It's always busy but food usually comes out pretty quick. If you're in here at lunch time it's pretty loud so beware of that if you are sensitive to noisy areas. I have noticed some inconsistency with the quality. Sometimes the tacos have more filling than others. Today we ordered queso which usually has more guacamole and hot sauce on it. It's creamy and smooth and has a little kick to it. Chips were warm and thin with a little salt Refied beans are smooth and always a perfect consistency Tipsy chick taco has an amazing grilled chicken flavor and the bacon marmalade should be sold in bottles. I get this taco every time I go here Taco of the month is Vagabond the meat was chewy and stringy. The bacon and pico and cheese was good but the meat made the taco not edible would not order it again Trailer park trashy taco fried chicken tender that stays crispy which is a huge plus cause no one wants a soggy piece of chicken. Hubby orders this one every time. Overall great experience as usual just wish they were more consistent."

"I recently visited Social Cantina on a Saturday night. I was pleasantly surprised that there wasn't a long wait and our group of 6 was able to be seated right away at 6:30! Our server was great at getting quick refills and was super friendly. The decor is also wonderful. My food was delicious, but it came out a bit cold, which was a bummer. My son had the kids meal and I had a quesadilla, chips and queso for under $7. I thought it was a good deal for all the food he got. Other than the food temperature I was satisfied with my visit and would return!"

"Stopped by this taco truck late last night and was glad I did. The food was fresh, hot and delicious. The man at the window was helpful and friendly. I would suggest getting the carne asada tacos or the soft meat tacos, both were delicious. The food was prepared fast and in the time it took to get back to my house the food was still hot. I noticed that they stay open later than most restaurants, that is definitely a plus in my book! Will be back for sure!"

"Amazing food! Ok, just skip the corporate owned Mexican restaurants and give this place a try. You will have to come early to get some tamales, we missed out. We came for a later lunch on a Saturday and this place was still busy. The table service was prompt and attentive and she allowed us to have a rolling order to sample a variety of foods. The food is amazing! Everything tastes fresh and we sampled some unique menu items that I don't usually see on other menus. Try the Gorditas and, if you are here on Saturday, the Birra tacos...Amazing! The other tacos are also worth a try."

"Still on my search for good chicken enchiladas, I passed this place after a meeting in the area. The ambiance began at the entrance and continued through this large restaurant. We were promptly greeted and seated, chips and salsa arrived within minutes of being seated. We had just missed the brunch window but once I saw the Quesabirria on the menu I forgot all about the enchiladas They were absolutely delicious! Perfectly cooked! The decor is very colorful and bright. There's a large dining area, a bar area with seating a stage and a cozy patio area. Great place for any festive occasion."

"Solid food and service. We dined in and I had a taco and their loaded fries special. If you're dining in, you can grab a menu from the front and sit for table service. If you're getting carryout, you order at the counter. The menu isn't completely up to date, so you may want to look at their electronic menu board, too. I was excited about the fries special, but it was dry. Unseasoned fries topped with your choice of meat (we chose chorizo) and a little bit of crema. There are also cut up hot dogs wrapped in tortillas and deep fried. It was tasty (after adding salt and lime juice), but really dry. And I assumed there would be cheese, but there wasn't. They provide four hot sauces when you order tacos, along with fresh cucumbers, radish slices, and limes. I can handle about a medium heat, and unfortunately ALL four hot sauces were way too hot for me to eat."

"I'm not joking when I say this is the best burger in the city. They are always SO juicy but not sloppy. They season them very well and the toppings/bun are premium and fresh. Cooked to medium every time. Highly recommend the All American and the Grippos burger!They have sweet potato waffle fries and "crunchy coating" type fries that are always fresh and very crispy. They also season these very well with salt.There is an extensive liquor and beer selection and their cocktail menu is pretty good! On top of it all, the service is fantastic and I like the atmosphere! A little bit of an interesting choice with the slight country theme mixed with upscale, but it oddly works. Overall give this restaurant a 9.5/10 and it's a must try if you're downtown for a show or game!"

"Denver NC is finally getting upscale. We have a Mexican food truck with fresh made tacos, tamales, quesadilla and fabulous sauces. I saw a food truck on highway 73 with picnic benches and a long line of Hispanic workers waiting to buy lunch. A really good sign for good food at a great price. I stopped by later in the day to buy some food to take home. Got the street tacos, chicken, carne asada, lingua and tamales. The tamales come wrapped in banana leaves like they do in Southern Mexico. They were just like eating in Coatzacalcos. What makes everything that is already great to fabulous is the sauces. The red sauce is hot above jalapeno but below habanero. It is full of flavor but be ready for heatThe owner runs the Mexican grocery and the truck, so if you get there and don't see a someone in the truck, pop your head in the grocery front door and someone will come out to make the food fresh.Go get some real Mexican food, not the bland stuff found in our Mexican restaurants in Denvet. Hours are 9 am to 9 pm."

A waiter will be by to take your Sun King order, if you're wanting a brew. Tables are inside and outside. We opted for indoors since they didn't have umbrellas to block the sun. Now specifically onto Gordito's. I got the chicken cheesy fajita taco. Wow - packed with flavor! A corn tortilla with ample juicy chicken and melted cheese. Rather small for the portion but delightful! I'll be back to try more of what their menu has to offer!"

"I went with a friend a few days ago on a coworker's recommendation and I am so glad I took it. This restaurant is so cute, the bar was gorgeous and I loved the "Ivy wall" decorations. We were there right around dinner time and our food came out so fast. It felt like we had just ordered and bam the food was there. I had the Beef Chimichangas with rice and beans it was so good. My friend got a chicken burrito, the chicken was seasoned very well. I also got a margarita so tasty. I will definitely be back to try more of their food."

If you haven't checked them out, do yourself a favor and go. They have many Latin groceries as well. Fresh baked goods made in-house daily. This store is going to give all the other Latin stores in town a run for their money."

Very good. The yuca fries tasted great as well but soggy fries may not be everyone's thing. The lamb never leaves the menu per our server and it was ultra tender. The serving pan, while innovative got I the way with the handle. The spice level on the pork belly was spot on if you like it on the hotter side. Not stupid hot but get your attention hot. Loved the bar but youn trek through the whole restaurant to get to it. Nice wines from Spain and South America. Decent prices. Serving size seemed generous but might have only been 5 oz. Parking is tough. They have valet for $10. If you want less cost park on mass ave and it's short walk around the corner. We went on a Thursday and needed reservations. The place had a mixed crowd and it was quite noisy. Hard to have a quiet moment if it was just two people. Will go back and can fully recommend."
