"His place eatery has amazing food. This is their second location. James Jones is the owner. He was privileged enough to have his restaurant featured on Guy Fetti's drive-in diners and dives.One of the things they featured was a collard green grilled cheese. It was amazing. I have never had collard greens before so I thought I would try it, really really good and the bourbon creamed corn is one of my favorites. My husband always gets the meatloaf. That's something he gets every time and the banana pudding. The location on 86 street is larger than the Shadeland location. But both places the food is amazing."

"This is the best barbecue that I've have in Indianapolis! Unbelievably delicious and I'm kicking myself for passing by this place for so long. It is not surprising that they won the County's People's Choice 2023 award for best food.Don't let the appearance of the place fool you. The parking lot is a little muddy. The building is a little unwelcoming and the dining room is a little dark. But the aroma of the barbecue is intoxicating. They have lunch specials and daily drink specials on the menu. There is a full bar. The barbecue is prepared fresh daily. I ordered the Lunch Pulled Chicken sandwich with coleslaw side on the lunch menu. The chicken was moist and tender and so good. The slaw was fantastic...creamy. It was the best slaw I've had in Indiana. There were three barbecue sauces on the table and the Bourbon burnout sauce was incredible with a hint of bourbon and a little heat and not too sweet. Wow! So good. My husband had the Lunch Southern Pulled Pork sandwich with fries. The sandwich was filled so much pork that it was falling out of the sandwich. The tender, flavorful pork was covered with creamy Cole slaw. The fries were excellent, crispy and fresh. Lunches came with complementary biscuits and apple butter. The biscuits were hot and flaky. Very good. The hostess apologized for slow service because they were a little short staffed. We did not notice anything slow. Drinks and food came out quickly. The hostess was sweet and attentive. There is a portion of the dining room for large groups. Kids eat free on Wednesday with adult purchase. They have a nice kids menu. They are located just two blocks off 65 on SR 32. I'll be back and bringing friends."

The food and drinks were fabulous (except for the mixed green salad that tasted fishy?!)! The atmosphere was electric and Tay-Tay's music playing added to the fun! Perk: Join their club and you get a free glass (although I didn't get mine because the email came too late). Tip: Parking is challenging but look for some by the nearby park."

"We stopped by Joella's Hot Chicken for dinner after seeing they had half off chicken and waffles. I have been on wanting a waffle and the ones I make at home haven't been so good. Plus once you add chicken it just take it up a notch. We hadn't eaten here yet, we did go to the other location once, but years ago, so I wasn't sure what to expect. But we had stellar service and hot fresh food. There was a bit of a consistent line. You order at the counter and the bring it to your table. The staff was super nice. I had to add my credit card to the app to get the coupon to work. But you just scan the card so it went quickly. Our waffle was very fresh. It was the perfect amount of crisp and soft inside. and it was real maple syrup! I dipped the waffle into the syrup. I also thought the chicken was crisp and fresh. I went with the tenders. I am sure we will be back."

Big upgrade from derby for sure! Very well decorated.Sat down and waited a minute but they were trying to figure out the 30 guests that just walked in. Good sign right! Talked to Dillon, bartender, and gave us a good description of everything and suggested some drinks. We had about all of them lol. Great bourbon selection. Honestly never had chicken cock but was really good. That's a bourbon FYI Ordered some apps..biscuits, fondue, and Caesar. First off thought caesar was, is this a Caesar salad. Omg l, so good. Friend even commented on how it was. The star for me though was the blue cheese fondue, I could have just had a plate of that. Had the biscuits and they were also good. Didn't each much of those as trying to slow down on the carbs. Again, fondue hands down the best!!Entrees were a special of halibut..so freaking good!! The fried chicken my friend had was great but don't know I would say the best, that's a steep one. Had some bred puddin too so don't miss out. Honest opinion 4.5, nothing is perfect, well, mostly. Great atmosphere and I'll definitely be back and I will tell all my friends !"

We sat down and was ask about drink as soon as we sat down. Drinks came then ordered food which came out super quick. Pretty sure the food was made ahead, but it doesn't matter because it tasted wonderful. I mean seriously I bet this place is packed during main meal times. This is basically a bunch of tables and chairs. I will gladly come back here again, I am hoping for Friday's because they have catfish nuggets. And I hope to try dessert next time as well."

"Juniper on Main is a cute, little house off Main Street in the Carmel Arts District. The quaint restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating. I've visited before, but my most recent experience was with a group of 15 of my coworkers for a bit of out-of-office fun. As I was walking up, the waiter seemed frazzled that we would want to split the check and said this request would be an additional 20 minutes at the end of our meal. No one in our party was stressed about this, but I get that he wanted to set expectations since other groups may not be so kind about a wait.When we went to order, he rattled off a list of menu options that were unavailable: including the deviled eggs that are a major draw to the restaurant. Bummer. Despite these set backs, the ambience and the food were delightful. I got the CBR chicken sandwich. It was tasty and nicely presented. My friend let me try a bite of her short rib and grilled Pimento cheese sandwich. Let me tell you... that was amazing. I'd be back for that. Tip: There is parking behind the restaurant if you can't find street parking!"

"Don't judge this restaurant by its exterior and decor. It leaves a lot to be desired. We were greeted immediately and given a menu. We wanted to try a few different things. The loaded fries are very popular so we had to try those. Loved the shrimp steak fries. Seriously they were so good when you get a bite of everything flavor explosion. The fish was seasoned perfectly and the greens had a smoky flavor which I enjoyed. My kids enjoyed the chicken wings but didn't love the Mac and cheese. Overall it's a good deal for all you get. You have to try the fries."

"Came here on a Friday night as they were closing and they were unfortunately out of most of their meat, besides the chicken and pastrami. We opted to try both of the remaining meats and whatever sides they had left for our take out dinner to try to get a full taste for Just Q'in... the Pastrami was TO DIE FOR - so juicy and full of flavor. We wished we had gotten more of it! The sides were really great as well - we loved the coleslaw and collard greens the most, with the mac and cheese and cornbread following at close seconds. The place itself was very inviting and the people working there beyond welcoming and friendly. We were sad that we could not enjoy the space due to the timing we were there and how they were closing up - but we will definitely be back to try some of the other meats and get more pastrami!"

We ordered the fried green tomatoes to start, and they were phenomenal. Thick sliced, crisp, juicy, and topped with chunks of bacon and a large scoop of pickly pimento cheese spread. We loved these, so did our baby! For entrees we ordered the 2-piece fried chicken with a leg and thigh, along with Mac and cheese and the green beans. Everything was hot and well-made, just like I was eating at home. We also had the shrimp and grits, another excellent dish. The shrimp were covered in blackening and they were unbelievable. Perfect meal!"

She lets us sample some of the desserts so we could choose what we wanted (we got it all lol) the food was just ok. We got the burgoo (amazing) the corn- way way over seasoned, like he went to add old bay and the top came off... the pork belly burnt ends were ok. They needed to be cooked a little longer to render all the fat. It really wasn't worth $31. The saving grace, besides the service, was that the desserts were SO good. I think the desserts are also overpriced for what they are. One red flag is that we were the only people in there for dinner the entire time and it was only around 7 pm. Probably won't go back. But shout out to our waitress!"

It's a great spot for a girls brunch or even an afternoon tea. But don't let it fool you because they also offer an amazing dinner experience. We ordered the breakfast board for 2 and were blown away. Love the fresh and local foods they source. The bacon was thick & flavorful. I'm not a huge French toast fan but this was so tasty.
