"Wow! That's all I can say to start. There was a long line on a Saturday night so you know this place rocks! I got pho with chicken and appreciates all the sides available. It was AMAZING and the ingredients were so fresh. It was my first time and I'll definitely be back."
"Update! Still the best soups and Sandy's in the downtown. New seating area. Previously this was a grab and go. Now you can sit, and eat. Also now open at the Amp! Mon- Friday. Jan 17 will be on FoodNetwork, with Guy Fierri! Great people and really good soups. The Lobster Bisque is amazing.Really good rolls and cookies, too! Come enjoy!"

"Loved the staff. The place was cute. And oh man was my turkey basil sandwich delicious!"
"I ordered a pork chop and rice and it was scrumptious! I ate the pork chop to the bone. The flavor profile was so yummy. The texture was soft but a a crisp on the edges. The menu had great options it was hard to choose something! Service was so courteous! He was patient and understanding. My friend had questions about gluten and they were happy to assist her with her request. Parking upfront and there was seating for dining in! I would certainly return!"
"Visiting Indy for the first time and stopped in here for lunch today. Wonderful people, atmosphere and food!! Finn was incredibly helpful and friendly. We shared a panini and a soup trio. Not a crumb or drop went to waste! Everything was delicious! If we lived closer, we would have definitely taken some frozen soup to-go. Such a good idea! We loved our lunch here and will be back! Definitely recommend coming and giving them a try!"
"So, I travel a lot and this place was positively a delightful find. The food was the absolute highlight, it's become a staple for when I come back. This was easily some of the tastiest food I've ever had, I had the eggplant appetizer which was spicy, savory and delicious in every way. My dinner of lamb was also wonderful, the generous portion of lamb was surprising in the best way. Top that off with the fact that it was delicious and you can't lose! The atmosphere is charming and welcoming in here. You walk in and get this kind of nice mix of classic Afghan and just a hint of America which is plesant. There's no overly loud music, the ambiance is just lovely, it's a win overall. Finally service-wise, this is the only area I wasn't totally thrilled. The server was a little less than attentive, yes we got seated quickly, yes we got our order taken quickly, then she disappeared. Not a huge problem but I felt thats the only thing separating this from a 5-star review. All in all really well done, and it's family owned which just makes it even better definitely give them a try!"
"I have had my eye on this place to try the Oxtail pho and it delivered!! I imagine all the varieties of the pho would be just as delicious. I also tried the Vietnamese ice coffee. It was tasty, but a bit strong for my palate. If you're a black coffee person, you'd likely be pleased. The sweetener is light. I will absolutely be coming again and trying more items. The service is quick and pleasant and the ambiance was relaxing. I ate solo on this trip and felt very comfortable."
"Great Food ! Service was great and good price for the food. Its very convenient for pickup"
"Fantastic place. Surprising find up in Indiana. Food is top quality, I had a classic chicken tikka masala and found every single delightful flavor and texture within. Nothing missing. Service is quick and friendly. Dining area is a bit grey and high ceiling, I prefer things a bit cozier but some find that professional and modern."
"When you walk in and hear Frank Sinatra singing and see photos of Marilyn Monroe, you'll know your in the right place. Imperial Palace is a locally owned family business featuring traditional Chinese cuisine. During our visit, the owner was working alone and the dining room was full. They have only seven tables and those can fill quickly with the lunch crowd. He worked quickly to bring beverages and take orders. I had the Kung Pao Chicken and my husband had the Beef with Broccoli lunches. The food came out in about 15 minutes. Everything is prepared fresh. The egg roll was delicious and light. The ingredients in the Kung Pao Chicken were super fresh and the spice level was on the mild side for me. I wish I had requested more spice. But the freshness of the food made up for the lack of spice. There were two generous portions of rice. The lunch was delicious. My husband loved his Beef with Broccoli as well. They open at 11:00 am and serve lunch and dinner. There is plenty of parking in the strip mall. He does a robust service carry out as well. I'll definitely be back and I recommend. It's a fun little place."
"A true favorite place when fast food or regular dinner options seem blah. We frequent this establishment almost weekly or mb it's we think about how we should've gone to Roku ; ) ?!?Creatures of habits, we often order the same meals (sushi). Tonight we opted to try something completely different. Of course I asked goofy questions. Ridiculous questions too...Will I like this "brown" sauce? What's in it? Have you (server) tried it & like it too? Sure, I'm buying time as EVERYTHING is definitely yummy. Staff at Roku are exceptional. It doesn't matter if you must point out what you think you'll order then change your mind when it's your turn. Yup, I'm that person. If you see me IRL in a line, it may be a minute as I've got questions about stuff. Please accept my sincere condolences upfront, TYVM ; ) .Value wise, I can't think of a restaurant in the Center Grove-Greenwood IN (USA) area where two still growing adults don't exceed $40 including tip for a dine in restaurant, can you? We ordered: Dinosaur Eggs (spicy tuna), Spring Rolls, Wonton Soup, & Seafood (varied shellfish), & water. We shared this feast & didn't need a doggie bag. Yes, at the end we entertained thoughts of the Bubble Teas. Now a few hours later, regrets about the bubble tea has caused minor regrets. Next time, mb kinda sorta?!?This place continuously maintains outstanding quality in foods with staff members that are always welcoming. Can't wait til we decide to repeat our visit mb in a day or so :). Hope to see you there soon!Stay well & safe,Amyp.s. Oh dear, I almost space it. The bestest part was seeing IU educate MI today @ Roku. Marvelous food & IU educating MI. Best day Saturday of this week!"

Nothing cures a hangover like a bowl of pho. This place was packed for lunchtime on Saturday and I can see why! The pho was sooo good. Coming from California where there are vietnamese restaurants literally everywhere, I was excited to finally eat at my first one in Indy after living here for over a year. It did not disappoint!! The flavor of the broth, noodles, and all the fixings were very authentic and I was happily surprised at how generous they were with the meat in my pho! The prices are also very affordable. We also ordered spring rolls. They had shredded lettuce in them which I thought was interesting (I've never seen that before), but my boyfriend said they were good!Quick, friendly service, good prices, and great food.

Busy week ahead, so stopped at Subito for quarts of soup and sandwiches. (Okay, there were also cookies and bread involved - could not resist their in-house baked goods!) They had cornbread that day (only offered certain days) to pair up with the ham & beans. We grabbed 4 hot soups and one from their frozen stash. They have a monthly menu on their site and the online ordering is updated mid-morning with the day's available soups. They had everything ready when I arrived and boxed it all up for easier carrying. The mac and cheese surprised me. I tried one taste and the finished it off (oops). Comfort food! Half the club wrap disappeared during the ride home, so picture doesn't show the whole wrap. Took away one star for the broccoli soup, which was very watery. Will have to doctor it up before we eat that one.

On a morning where I wanted to get out early and get the day started, I started the day off with NK. It has been 7 years or so since I've been here and the beauty is, is that I still craved it after all this time. I got in shortly after opening and was greeted by staff that was still getting some tables together for the day but was seating patrons accordingly. I was seated in the back with other families. The store was clean and bright light like an inside picnic. Ironically, the waitress was just as melancholy as the last waiter I had many years ago. However, she was helpful and tried to be personable. She checked on me regularly and accommodated my needs but I did hear the table next to me mention the wait staffs demeanor. The food, however, was still good. I still got the same thing, the kitchenette & it was still good LOL. Except the coffee. I got the iced vanilla coffee and it was superrr sweet, not tasting any coffee. They were serving pancakes w/ blueberry compote, which they normally don't, but I didn't want to try something new. I'm glad I tried them again, go try them for yourself!

Best pho in Indy and Bloomington that I've found. Food is fresh and delicious! Small bi mighty staff that keeps things running smooth. Seating area is small and there is a steady flow of customers. It's always warm and inviting as soon as you step in. We have been coming here for years and have never been disappointed.

After reading some recent social media posts about soup, I was definitely in the mood on a cold winter day. I stopped by this little spot right off the circle to grab a couple of containers to go. It's a very quaint and homey place with seating limited to a few chairs at a countertop area. It's decorated like a quirky library, which I thought was cute. They do offer all of their soups frozen to go, which is what I chose. The gal at the counter helping me was very kind and friendly, describing all their soups and telling me about her favorites. She even gave me a sample of the lobster bisque (yum!). I ended up ordering a larger container of the tomato bisque and a smaller lobster bisque. She did have to go get them from another area, as it seems the freezer is in a different location of the building. I was given the option to choose two portions of bread, as well for no extra charge.I thawed the tomato bisque for the next day and had it as a meal with one of the sizes of bread. It was delicious! Rich, hearty and cheesy...just as it was described. The larger size container held three large bowls of soup. I haven't tried the lobster bisque yet, but am hopeful it will also be delightful. I'll be back again soon to try yet another soup and if the weather cooperates, sit on the circle!

Outstanding food, outstanding service! I was in Bloomington today and had dinner at Samira and it was excellent. We ordered two lamb dishes, both were extremely flavorful and very tender. Our waitress was great too. Highly recommended!

Mr. Tequila is one of our favorite Mexican restaurants. Our entrees always arrive hot, prepared as requested, and flavorful. Service is usually excellent with friendly servers. The complimentary chips and salsa are served immediately and our drinks arrived quickly. They offer several types and sizes of margaritas plus specials on Monday. I ordered the large Texas margarita and my husband had a large 32 oz Dos Equis Amber. Dinner consisted of a Burrito Bandera for my husband with grilled chicken and steak burrito topped with salsa verde and red sauce. He enjoyed the new entree and would order again. I had a large bowl of Chicken and Rice Soup with shredded chicken, avocado, and pico de gallo. The soup was delicious and I couldn't finish all of it.Mr. Tequila has a large lunch and dinner menu with all your favorites from nachos, tacos, quesadillas, salads, egg dishes, enchiladas, burritos, seafood, and Fajitas. Vegetarian entrees are also available. I especially like the Enchilada De Mole with 3 chicken enchiladas topped with a special mole Maria sauce. If you enjoy seafood try the Enchiladas Del Mar with 4 corn tortillas stuffed with crab meat, shrimp, onion, and tomato topped with cheese sauce. These are just a couple of my regular entrees. The patio is comfortable running along East Street with several tables with umbrellas. Hopefully, this will be an easy and quick winter. Stop in and take advantage of the large tequila options and good food.

"Very average Chinese cuisine that won't offend you but definitely won't leave you impressed. I ate in store from their dinner menu and I think that results in better quality food than takeout, so look at other reviews for takeout disappointment! I thought everything was pretty good, and not a bad deal either. The crab rangoon was frankly heavenly. I ate 6 of them and could have eaten twice that without a second thought. Staff were nice and quick, they aren't there to mess around! I was pretty sad to see they haven't gotten their buffet back up and running since COVID. Based on what I saw, it appears they don't have intentions of going back to a buffet for quite a while, or ever."
"Getting some dinner to take with for the night shift! We had a wonderful experience at this Naf Naf location! All of the staff members were kind and patient as we built our meals. Ms. B even offered us a taste of the falafel which was surprisingly as fresh and delicious as all of the rest of the ingredients. Can definitely speak for us that it is a fair price for a nice dinner that reflects how you care for your insides. At about $12 you can build your own bowl/pita/plate. There are things that cost extra, but it's not necessary to include those additions to taste all that Naf Naf has to offer. (:08-08-2024"
"As always the food is delicious, service is excellent and the restaurant is always clean. Great place to meet friends. Priced right and convenient location."
"Visited on Saturday afternoon. They've just remodeled and the space is clean and new. I went in with my toddler unsure due to mixed reviews. I've been a bunch, just years ago when it was a new concept. Today we ordered a kids meal with Mac and a milk and I ordered a BFG (bacon fig and goat cheese). So delicious! The fig jam was sweeter than I expected but it was very good. My little loved his traditional grilled cheese. I do think this will be a special stop for us as the pricing is higher than regular fast casual for the items served. The kids meal is $6.99, the BFG is $8.99, and we tried one of the dessert options - cinnamon crunch donut with marshmallow mascarpone at $5.49. The cup of soup is $3.99, which has the least value, imho. Little one loved it so we'll be back and all the items were fresh and hot, service was very kind. A little bonus is this restaurant does employ individuals with high learning challenges and that is awesome! We made a friend while here and who can be grumpy after that!"
"This place was good.It was after our hike nearby and we all had a craving for korean food and yes it did hit the spot Being Korean I have pretty high standards for Korean food. It is authentic and has a great taste. For one of my friends it was her first time trying Korean food and she really enjoyed it along with a green grape juice with chunks in them that was definitely part of my childhood We got the bibimbap, seafood soft tofu soup & stir fry squid (which I love). All of the dishes were good which is why I'm not surprised they have 2 locations! I might not come back to this location unless I'm camping out here again as I live over an hour away but I will probably go back to their other location which is closer to home"
"The food is always on point and one of our favorite Chinese restaurants to order from. Great service as always!"
"The food and service are top notch in this little Thai restaurant in Westfield. We stopped for lunch after a morning of running errands. The dining room is colorful with umbrellas hanging from the ceiling and other Thai decor that makes you forget that you are in a strip mall. There are only 10 tables, but they are spaced apart nicely. There is a bar in the room that serves wine, beer and saki. The room is dim with love tunes by Sinatra and Elvis playing in the background. Our server, Kyle, is all welcoming smiles as she brings us a bowl of Thai soup before we order. The soup is hot and good on this cold afternoon. They offer a dozen lunch specials. She asks it we have been in before and tell us that they have been open for two years. I order the Pad Kee Mao with Tofu, as I'm trying to eat a little healthier. Lunch comes out quickly. A small salad and egg roll are included with lunch. The egg roll is crispy and the salad fresh. There is a generous portion of Pad Kee Mao and vegetables are hot and medium spice level is perfect for me. My lunch is delicious. My husband has Pad Thai with Chicken. He said the noodles were cooked to perfection. He ate every last morsel. The hostess and Kyle kept our water glasses full and checked on us frequently. There's plenty of parking in the strip mall. The restaurant and rest rooms are handicapped accessible and clean. We will definitely be back."
"Not a full review- but just want to share that I really love their salsa! It's actually fairly spicy, or more so than most Mexican places. I immediately commented about it to my husband and he said the same. The service seems a tad slower than similar places, but all in all pleased."
"Very good Thai Restaurant. My wife got the Tom Yum Soup, Chicken. A large was $11.99. She loved it. It had lemon grass, mushrooms, onions and tomatoes. She was surprised that it did not come with a side of rice to help with the flavorful broth. But I gave her some of mine so all was right with the world. I got the Thai Basil with chicken for $13.99 and it was very good as well. In fact, it looked so good that I promptly dove right in, forgetting to take a picture! The food was served quickly and was hot and made with fresh ingredients. Service was attentive. The atmosphere is nice. Upscale casual. They have booth seating on the perimeter of the room and, when we left, all were filled. Will definitely return."
"A beautiful space with great food. The best part of the whole meal was the drinks. The Thai iced tea and green Thai iced tea were perfect. You could tell the teas are brewed and not from a powder mix. I would stop by to just order drinks if I was in need of a caffeine pick up. The pad kee mao with tofu was our favorite of the food we ordered. It had a nice smoky flavor with a lot of veggies and tofu. The papaya salad was a great starter. The eggplant with tofu was served with steamed rice, which was perfect to soak up the sauce. Make sure to ask for the hot pepper flakes and chili sauce condiments. The fried banana reminded us of a turon dessert. It was crispy and the honey served with it was a good pairing. The employees were so friendly. The service is top tier here, friendly, providing good menu recommendations, checking in on their customers, and ensuring your water glass was full. The interior space is beautiful and the music in the background provided a nice setting for a meal out."
"We love Moveable Feast! We've known Peter and Kathleen for more than a decade. They are SO dedicated to their craft and restaurant- always giving back to the community, involved in the Indianapolis scene and committed to excellent service and high quality food! We've used Moveable Feast for holiday partition take-out, events and just love their dine-in experience. The restaurant venue itself is very COOL, showcasing local arts and supporting other food & drink local businesses that they proudly share on their menu. Moveable Feast is highly recommended if you're looking for some great food, good conversation and just need a fresh environment to expand your Indy vibe for a lunch or dinner Go-To!"
"Busy place. A bit of a wait to be seated but fairly prompt service thereafter. The drinks and food were amazingly delicious and well worth the wait time. Our server was super nice as well."
"Since our favorite take out Chinese - Mark Pi's - is closed for good, we are trying new (to us) options. For our regular items, we found New China to be comparable and excellent. Crab Rangoon are well stuffed & flavorful; Pot Stickers (fried dumplings) were likewise well prepared and the accompanying sesame/soy sauce was perfect; Shrimp Fried Rice was very good though I prefer stir fried shrimp to steamed; Hunan pork was chock full of veggies with nice chunks of pork and all was well flavored. Certainly warrants a return visit"
"Yamallama in the AMP16 food hall was a pleasant surprise for me. First of all, I kept missing them with me always circling the outer perimeter, they're located behind the boba tee/bagel place. I'm so glad I had an opportunity to try the out. My son introduced their Cobb salad and I was instantly hooked! He let me try it on Friday and had to wait until Monday to try a whole thing myself-as they are closed on the weekends. Let me tell you! It was worth the wait. An arugula blend base topped with tomatoes, blue cheese crumbles, chicken, and bacon-its a familiar mix. For me it was the Everything Bagel salad dressing that really took this to the next level.Go try it out and let me know what you think!"
"Out for an early ride with the sunrise (subtle, yet amazingly colorful) and wonderful to find this place open so early, 4:30!, even on the 4th. I certainly agree with the other great reviews and it's so nice to see how many apparent locals enjoy here and make this a great visit. I had a simple traditional breakfast which was prepared perfectly for my liking and I savored the time sitting and reading some after eating. This is certainly my kind of breakfast place and will return...Let's enjoy our great country's birthday today (Declaration of Independence was signed, 242 years ago) and take time to ponder our history and how we play a role to serve together enjoying the great parts and improving in what we can that we all may continue to pursue "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.""
"We stopped in for breakfast and almost didn't stay. It's attached to a gas station and caters mostly to carry out orders. The girls in there were friendly and made the regular customers coming in for carry out start their day out on a good note. We were the only sit down customers, but they had steady flow in and out while we were there. We both had the platters which included two made to order eggs, diced potatoes and a choice of meat with choice of b&g, French toast or pancakes! Everything was tasty and the portions were more than satisfying. The bacon was crispy, tasty and lots of it. Sausage gravy was good (and we are picky growing up on farm cooking). Great value for good food."
"For a busy Sunday morning, they did the best they could. But we just weren't blown away by the food or service. I got the biscuits and gravy with fried potatoes. I loved the option to put fried potatoes with the gravy, the potatoes were crispy and delicious. I just wish the gravy had more sausage. My fiancé got the Belgium waffle breakfast with over medium eggs and bacon. He said the breakfast was decent overall, the waffle was just a little dry. Our server was super sweet, I felt bad she seemed so rushed and flustered and she forgot to bring the hot sauce we requested."
"First of all don't pull in the front and think they are closed like we did. The entrance is on the left side of the building. As we walked in we were seated right away and we had a really good server who was very polite and checked on us frequently. We all ordered diet cokes which came out in cans and he did bring cup with ice. We ordered a couple appetizers one being chips and queso. The other being their sampler, both of which were very good. Don't compare this to a Mexican restaurant because it is much different and don't expect chips and salsa to be dropped off at the table because they don't appear to have salsa. We each ordered and our meals came out fairly quick. Two of us ordered the chicken, one a quesadilla, and I got the carne asada. All of our meals were very good and my wife and I tried each others and agreed how good they were. Price wise for four of us it was around $100 including the 15% they already added as a tip. We added an additional $10 because our service was really good. The restaurant itself was very clean and there was music playing but not overly loud where you couldn't hear each other talk. This was our first time here and we would go again. I never thought to take any photos or I would have posted them."
