"The nostalgia for Noble Roman's goes back to the Westside and the 10th street location. You could stand and watch them make their pizzas daily. They still have the window and steps! I've always loved the breadsticks and the pizza they sell. The Sicilian is my favorite. Like Detroit-style. I think this franchise uses the best cheese sauce around. It has a little bit of heat but the best consistency!This location is big! It's located in Whitestown close to interstate 65 exits. Lots of TV's and an open kitchen kind of area. They had a nice looking salad bar and bar area. The pizza was good and so were the breadsticks. They had a special going on you buy one get one pizza free. Even better!"

"Smiley's has had new owners since April 2012. They've made some changes and the place isn't so dark and dreary anymore. It is still pretty smokey inside though. I came here with a group of colleagues on a Thursday evening. The patio is great and relatively smoke-free during dinner hours. Smiley's is known for their pizzas and drink/food specials. They were really busy and the wait staff was ok, but obviously overwhelmed. It's a decent place to go after work for a drink in the evenings to sit outside in the summer. They offer local beer (New Boswell) on tap.I'm not sure I would come here on a weekend night just based on things I've heard around town. I hope they turn the bar around and will sponsor a few more smoke-free evenings."

"This is a nice local family restaurant and brewery located on the outskirts of downtown Columbus. Please do not ask me to pronounce the name though. They have their own private parking lot in the back and free street parking available in the front. There is also a decent sized dining area with televisions on the walls and a nice patio out to the side of the restaurant. You will find a tasting room to the right as you come in the front door, with booths and a bar. They periodically host tastings and special events here. The staff there is so friendly and helpful. They periodically checked in on us while we were there and one even came to our table and told the kids a dad joke.They do not have table service here so if you plan on dining in like I did then you have to place your order at the counter and they will bring your food out to you when it is ready. I ordered a lasagna pizza and some breadsticks for the littles. I also got one of their craft sodas and I am glad that I did. It was so good. I will say that this place is a bit on the higher end, but you pay for quality.It took about 15 to 20 minutes for me to get my food and it was delicious. I was expecting the pizza to taste more like lasagna, maybe with some ricotta, but it was still good. The breadsticks were fresh and perfect. This is a nice place to eat some "Za" , they also have salads, calzones, and hoagies. They also have a nice selection of craft beer and wine. A 4.5 rating would be more appropriate, but since that is not an option, I decided to go with a 5 because that it what I feel this restaurant is closer to. I highly recommend checking this place out. It is a good family restaurant with some very tasty food."

"This is a pretty average Irish Pub. Overall the food was below average based off the pricing. The service was quick and respectful, but nothing over the top. My biggest issue is the food prices did NOT even come close to matching the food quality. The food lacked flavor and presentation was below average for being located in the arts district of Carmel, IN. If I'm spending over $70 on dinner for two, then it better have more to offer than what we had tonight."

"Mogger's is a Terre Haute institution with a lot of history. History that lives downstairs in the displays, and in the floorboards, watch your step! Offer your guests the beer/cocktail menu right away - since this place specializes in craft beer flights of six, and craft beer, you've gotta give the people the menu! LOVED my flight and built many local IN beers. The waitress for the table behind us completely misspoke to the guests (who also were not offered a beer menu) that a local cherry sour beer was "I think it's a dark beer". Waitstaff should know their beer menu. And give your guests the menu! I got the Italian Beef sandwich that was like a French Dip and my son got the highly recommended chicken specialty and devoured it. We loved our food and I loved my flight of beers, and would return."

"TC's is a great small town restaurant that serves good, hot food and lots of it. We stopped here mid-afternoon on a Friday so the place was near empty. I didn't want to eat much so I ordered a catfish sandwich. It came with two catfish fingers in a large bun. The catfish was tender and moist. My companions ordered full meals. The ribeye and pork chop are enormous! Wow! A third diner ordered boneless country ribs. The plate was full of chunks of ribs slathered with BBQ sauce. The food took a while to be served, even with few tables occupied. The menu clearly states they will not sacrifice quality for fast service. So expect to wait and allow a little more time. The atmosphere is very divey in a good way. The walls are adorned with old sports photos from the long gone Battle Ground HS. I believe I will return soon."

"I'm giving this place 3 stars because the server was very nice and the pub had a charm to it. The food was just average. To quote country music superstar Shania Twain, "it don't impress me much."It wasn't horrible food, it just seemed like they had a catalog from Gordon's food service and they just warmed stuff up. My wife had the buffalo chicken sandwich. It was glorified chicken tenders chopped up and soaked in buffalo sauce on a bun. I had the pizza hoagie. It was described as a steak sandwich with pizza sauce and cheese. It turned out to be an elongated hamburger patty, with cheese and pizza sauce. The waffle fries were really good though."

"This is another fish-fry restaurant we decided to try since Bridgetown Finer Meats isn't doing theirs this year due to COVID safety precautions. We each got a fish platter and they were delicious, reasonably priced and huge portions! I was only able to eat half of my sandwich (which was delicious cold the next day for lunch!) They provide pickles, tarter sauce and the platters come with fries, another side (we got mac) and hush puppies. I wasn't a huge fan of the hush puppies, but everything else was really yummy. Would definitely come back here for sure!"

"Fun Bar!! There's something going on every night and it draws some of the best bands in the area. Prices are good, the beer is cold, there's a good booze selection, and the bartenders are top notch. I've met the owner several times and she clearly knows her business and clientele. I would guess the average age would be around 40 to 45 years old and this is not a youngster's bar. Every Thursday is "Jam Session" and I'd tell you more but this is something you have to experience for yourself. On Mondays, they play "Bottle Cap Bingo" and Queen of Hearts if you want to put a few bucks in your pocket. Ran, a local comedian and the man with many shoes, does the calling. I have to admit, the dude is funny and keeps things lively. Out of all the bars in the Cincinnati area, I'd have to say this is clearly a favorite!"

"This is such a fun bar/restaurant! The atmosphere is a local pub/dive bar with a VHS decor spin. Right up my alley. Their menu is very much traditional bar foods but a ton of vegetarian and vegan options! Which is sooooo refreshing to see. I am always open to trying vegetarian options so I can also learn what I could make at home. I think they are known for their vegan gravy, they sell it in pints! We tried it and it was really good. I enjoyed that they do not have table service, BUT they do have a dedicated spot on the bar for table patrons to place food and drink orders. Their soda on tap is from a local Irvington soda pop company which is also amazing. We love local supporting local!"

"So excited to have a pub in Whitestown again! Anyone remember DJ's???Came here late on a Sunday night with my wife for a drink and some snacks. Like another Yelper, we thought the place was closed because of the blackout windows. I drove by again (since we checked hours) and Holly could see a TV on in the background - so we went in!First - the place smelled clean and everything is pretty much new, including plenty of TVs to watch a bit of Sunday Night Football. They have a decent liquor selection and some nice beers on tap, including from Metazoa. The bartender/server was great! Super quick, responsive, and friendly. Granted, only a couple other patrons at 9 o'clock on a Sunday. We ordered scotch eggs and some chips (fries). Holly got a vodka and I had the IPA from Metazoa. Beer was ice cold and delicious! After the IPA, I tried a milkshake stout from Rochester Mills (MI). Ordered the peanut butter cup - it was very good. I could only drink one, but they are having the 12 stouts of Christmas, so I might have to come back Food - probably a 3/5. I was expecting scotch eggs like Macnivens and the sausage batter around the egg just wasn't enough; needs to be 1/4 inch thick and this was like 1/16th. Chips tasted twice fried, which I like, but Holly "likes to taste the potato", so had to mark them down. May need to come here earlier and get a sandwich or a burger. The place had several more people filter after us since nothing else is open late in the area. I really hope this place does well, so we get to keep a pub in Whitestown. If you are looking for beer and sports - it's a 5/5! Hopefully the food will get better so I can kick the review up 1!"

The service and ambiance was no friendly and just ok they only were service st paddy's day menu with a very select menu ! I got the shepads pie served in a paper tray no served with a single side for $19 and my friend a sandwich and fires for $15 ! I do give them grace as it is the busiest few days for them but I wish server would have been friendly asking if we needed other things with more flavor for food and served on a plate ! The manager did take care of my concerns which I appreciate not sure I would choose to return for lunch maybe after st paddy's day to try other menu items definetely a bar vibe"

"This is a great place for pool! There are several pool tables with pretty blue covers. Also if you'd like to play Texas Hold'em this is the place. The bartender was friendly and the drink selections were varied. One of TV's was on a funniest animals show and the one had a sports channel on. The bar stools were so comfy we felt like sitting there forever. The pizza did not wow us so we will not order it again. Maybe we'll try the burgers next time. I did not see any likeness of the namesake John Wayne though."

"My wife and I took our son (and his GF) to Legacy Pub to celebrate his 21st B-day; it was my first thought where to buy dinner and a special drink (incredible bourbon selection). Legacy Pub was able to deliver on several special cases: Vegan menu for one and Gluten sensitive for another (both happy with their choices). I have been several times and have always been able to order a bourbon I have not had before (and some of the best I have ever had). Now I just need to find my next excuse to take someone out in Lafayette as I live almost an hour away."

"The Village Inn was rocking at 6:00pm on a Friday night when we arrived! It must be the place to be in Roanoke on the weekend! We weren't there for the full bar or the music but for the butter fish and the prime rib. Our party of four was seated after about 15 minutes and even though the place was very busy our server did an excellent job and was helpful and upbeat. The prime rib was delicious and rare as I ordered. My buddy had the same and the women ordered the grilled and broiled halibut. The fish was perfectly prepared and the house salad was crisp and fresh! The baked potatoes were hot and fluffy! No complaints from our four top.The bill came to $180.00 with tip but well worth it for a nice out on the town!"

"For a casual night in Beech Grove, try O'Gara's Irish Pub (affectionately called Johnny O's). It's typically filled with lots of regulars, but they seem to be friendly enough and don't stare... too much! We like going to O'Gara's because it isn't too far from our house, so we could, theoretically, stumble home if needed. O'Gara's has a decent beer selection, and as an Irish pub, they have Guinness on draft. They also have all the other drinks you would expect at a full bar... I usually go for the bloody mary because they give you nice big olives with it. O'Gara's has enough to keep you entertained for a night in Beech Grove, with a pool table, darts, Golden Tee machine and other games. You can also bring your own deck of cards or borrow their's for a game of euchre, etc. They used to have a cornhole game set up, but it disappeared. :( They serve food at O'Gara's, but I haven't ate it at a time that I was sober enough to make any judgments on it... However, a big bonus is that they actually let you order pizza from the next-door Ball Park Pizza and eat it in there(once their kitchen is closed). Go for the pizza! I do remember eating it, and know that it was really good."

We had PBR's and the Chewbacca burger which is two grilled cheese sandwiches American and Swiss as the buns with a well seasoned burger with melted cheddar and mozzarella cheese, we also had a side of tots. This was great burger seasoned very well and lots of melted cheese and crispy grilled cheese buns, #delicious! The tots were cooked perfectly. Great sandwich!"

"As a business traveler, I'm often eating alone. Finding a great place where not only is the food excellent, but the servers are on point and friendly often seems like a needle in a haystack. Well I found my needle here at Molly Malone's. I ordered the Guinness Beef Stew and it arrived at my side quicker than a drive thru fast food burger. It was delicious my only complaint is I wanted more! The bartenders were friendly and chatted with me just the right amount (too much they're ignoring everyone else, too little they're ignoring me). The atmosphere was just right with it being brisk but not too busy. I imagine it gets pretty packed during Bengals games in there, but this was the night before. I hope for another chance to return to the area, you know I'll be back here."

"Walked into this bar for a few after a couple other bars. The behind bar shelf is beautiful. It was elaborately carved and just cool. We sat at the bar and had a few drinks. The bartenders were adequate. They were not crazy busy. Ordered an Irish Green Tea which was okay. Watched him make it. Didn't put any sweet/sour mix in it, so it was lacking. I got it as a drink instead of a shot, so I had time to taste it. Other than that, we just shared a dessert. Something chocolate, don't even remember what it was, but it was fine. Not too memorable.Watched numerous employees get off work here and begin drinking. We also watched the bartenders do shot after shot. While we were there maybe 1 - 1.5 hours. We saw both bartenders do at least six shots. One was doing Vegas bombs and the other was doing vodka shots with OJ chasers. At least I think it was vodka. I couldn't see the bottle. At one point, a few servers got off shift and walked up to the side of the bar. One of them did a shot, but not just a shot. It was an entire rocks glass filled with Jameson. It was impressive. This bar was okay. No idea how the food was. Staff was fine but not overly friendly. The entertainment was watching the staff drink. I guess I don't hang out in college bars in Indiana enough to make it seem normal."
