"Cholita Taqueria is a fun place if you're looking to enjoy a fun atmosphere with good food on a screened in patio. The street being right by the patio makes it a bit loud at times but it is still rather comfortable out there. Our server was also very sweet. Our tacos were fine, mine were a little soggy. One thing I would recommend a thousand times over is the birria grilled cheese. This is a birria cheese that's been baked in a cast iron dish and served with little tortilla wedges. You can get some insane cheese pulls from it! Aside from that, it is also very delicious cheese, like a mozzarella but with a little more saltiness to it. I'd certainly come again, and will definitely get more birria cheese!"

"Excellent restaurant in a cool part of town. Fountain Square. The atmosphere is very relaxed with a kind of an Industrial feel inside and a huge bar. we got chips and salsa to start with. We did have to pay for it, which is strange, most of the places around here included, but this is a little bit more millennial type eating location. It came with two different types of salsa, red salsa, and a green salsa. The green was much hotter than the red ones. But both were very good. The red one was a little sweet for me but still excellent. For dinner I got chicken enchiladas with a Molé Verde sauce. It was pretty hot, but still very good. Was covered in sauce and cheese, came with refried beans and rice. All of it had excellent flavor and went really well together. It was excellent. My wife got. A margarita bowl. Zucchini, pickled onions, cilantro, Mexican rice, black bean salsa, guacamole and cheese. She thought it was great and it was a very large serving and she could only finish about half of it. I got a unsweet iced tea to drink, but other than that, we drank the water that was put at the table. The atmosphere is pretty cool and hip and the service was very good. She kept coming back and checking on us all through the mail. Prices weren't too bad for the type of place. It was obviously a little more expensive because it is sitting in a cooler, part of town."
"Plenty of chicken, cheese, lettuce, onions, rice, and sauce were provided to us. Corn tortillas were also provided and couldn't have been tastier. I loved the food here and highly recommend if you're in the area. The employees were kind and helpful throughout our visit. You simply order at the counter. The back was pretty big so feel free to eat there or take it out with you."
"One of my favorite places for authentic Mexican food. The staff is always very friendly and helpful and The portions are huge.I ordered fish tacos and they really loaded up on the fish. Normally you get more of the "fixings" and less meat. They offer sauces from mild to spicy. The food here is reasonably priced for the amount you get.If you're on the east side check this place out!"
"Commenting for carry out - really liked their tacos and there are many to choose from. The tacos were very fresh, tasted great, and were above average in size. Our to go order was also done without the promised time. Only reason for 4 stars is the cost - $7 per taco when people sell burritos for that price."
"Cool atmosphere and excellent service! Stopped in here for dinner before a show at White Rabbit next door and ordered chips, queso, a strawberry margarita and two tacos. The chips were nice and hot and it's hard to mess up queso. Delicious margaritas - I had a house margarita with strawberry and it was $6. That's a pretty great price point. Tacos were just ok - the pork was cooked great and the portion size generous, there just wasn't any cheese or cilantro to go on top and I felt like it needed more than the pineapple salsa that cane with it. Would visit again in the summer to see the tiki patio and have some drinks/appetizers and try something new."
"This is for the Bugambilias food truck. The truck was parked in the Deviant Brewing lot on the corner of Michigan Road and 96th street. I was looking for a light snack and there was the brightly colored Bugambilias Food truck. I had never heard of Bugambilias before. The clerks in the truck were super friendly. The truck menu is limited to tacos, tortas and quesadillas. I ordered the Quesadilla Poblano, which was made with lime-marinated pork and lots of cheese. My meal took about 12 minutes to make because they do make them fresh. The quesadilla was excellent. The pork was flavorful and moist. The salsa also tasted fresh with great spice. I haven't eaten at a food truck in a while. I did think that the quesadilla was a bit overpriced, my bill came to $16 before tip."
"This is quality at a great price!GUACAMOLE! I just had the best guacamole in town. It's so good!My husband ordered the Chimichanga and I got the Flautas....you can tell these are made in house from quality ingredients! I loved my chicken flauta with the green salsa they put on the table. There were some nice little touches like the salsa bottles were cold....and they dropped them off at the table...which makes me feel good about the freshness! I tried both, but the red one was beyond my heat level. My husband enjoyed it and he's only moderately spicy-eating.The interior is absolutely no frills, but I am good with putting the effort into the food, and it was clear from our dishes they did that. I even respected the fact that elotes was out of season because yes, corn is not in season, and it is one of my favorite dishes, so I'll definitely have to come back in the summer (but I probaby will sooner... I need to explore the namesake tacos!)My husband and I were able to feel overstuffed, with leftovers to take home for under $40! We don't necessarily seek out quantity of food for our money but that really stood out compared to the price from a value perspective."
"I forgot how good this place. It's been a while since last time, which was also a good experience! I reserved a table through OpenTable but max of 6 so called for additional seat and they were very accommodating. The table was ready on time. Our server was nice and quick with the food orders. The chips were delicious as expected with their salsa. Got the arroz con pollo and added veggies and shrimp (small up charge) but it was delicious. It came out smothered in melted cheese and it was wonderful. I would get it again. Next time I'll come back and try a margarita and maybe an order of tacos :)"
"Food itself is a little better than the standard Americanized Mexican food, but it has a fun and vibrant atmosphere, prices are good, and everything comes out fast. Good variety of cocktails and beers. If you are looking for a casual, family friendly night out look no further!"
"I'm in love with their vegetarian burrito! I love it so much I've been back twice. Couldn't be happier with the quality and quantity of the serving. It's fresh and loaded with refried beans, rice, crunchy lettuce and cilantro. I leave off the cheese and sour cream because of my dietary restrictions. I definitely plan to eat here weekly as it's just a few steps from my building. Not only the food is amazing but the service is too. I highly recommend it! Hope to see you there."

We stopped by on a Thursday night. Atmosphere was cozy and tavern like- great relaxing vibe but probably much busier on weekends. They have a full bar with a nice tequila list.We got the queso fundido w mushrooms as an app and it was very good. Then we got 3 taxi's each- all were good. I had the al pastor, the quesobiria and the cauliflower. The quesobiria was the star- perfectly savory and melty w a crisp shell. The cauliflower was well roasted w pickled veggies and was very nice. The Al pastor was a bit weaker- good flavor but a bit dry. Our server really helpful with recs and super nice!If you're in the Broad Ripple area it's definitely worth a stop.

Too loud for me. Okay service. No free chips and salsa. Food was tasty. Delicious guacamole on the top of my Margarita Bowl with chicken. Hubby had a taco salad with chicken.

Phenomenal tacos! Their tortillas and tortilla chips are homemade and are so good. I had two pollo tacos and one shrimp taco. Their guacamole was really good and I was not a huge fan of their queso. It had a grainy texture to it that I was not a fan of. Overall would definitely recommend Tortilleria Garcia if you are in the mood for tacos!

I have been craving tacos, so I stopped inside of Paco's Tacos on Keystone Ave. The parking lot is definitely tight, so be careful when you park your vehicle.Inside, there is a dining area and self serve condiment and horchata station. The menu is not extensive, but has a good selection. The staff there were friendly.I went on two separate occasions. The tapatio tacos are their version of birria tacos. They are very flavorful and cheesy. The consume is brothy. I feel like it could use more depths of flavor, but it's still tasty. The tacos are very good. My only complaint is that sometimes pieces of the meat are heated through. Their salsas are good as well. I enjoy the chipotle and habanero ones over the green, which is more mild. I also tried the carne asada plate. I wasn't that satisfied with the meat because it was very tough and lukewarm. The rice and beans were okay. Unfortunately, I wouldn't get it again. But, I plan to return!

Hubby and I really enjoyed our food here. We were not wowed by the decor or the somewhat uncomfortable eclectic furniture, but we loved the food! Hubby ordered a vegetable bowl and I ordered the chiles rellenos with chicken. Service was good, even though they were very busy.

We came here for Cinco de Mayo this year. Great choice for this fun holiday! This cantina is split into three sections. When you walk in, you enter the front bar where the walls are decked out in Day of the Dead decorations. Next, you enter a tiki bar, a semi-outdoor bar space with a surf-inspired theme. The back section is the patio with both high top and low top tables. The high tops have colorful umbrellas, good for shielding you from the glaring sun. It was a beautiful day, so we chose to sit on the patio, which was filling up quickly just 15 minutes into opening. We started off with a pitcher of margaritas. They're fresh and not too sweet, especially with a salted rim. They go down so easy! For food, we had the chips and guac. It's not often I like restaurant guacamole, but this was pretty good. Once we finished off our pitcher, we each had a Spicy Margarita. The habanero tequila adds a hint of heat. Just enough so you know it's there. Absolutely delicious! At this point, we went ahead and got some chips and queso. Yum!Our server was fantastic! She was SO friendly and had the BEST attitude. She was also super attentive. This was a great choice for Cinco de Mayo! I'm already craving another margarita!

Food is delicious and authentic! Our server was great, he recommended wonderful dishes to try. Ambiance is very colorful and cheerful. I loved the clay cups they served our Margaritas in! Lots of attention to detail throughout.

"Updating my review to say that Samano's Taqueria is one of my favorite burrito stops. Actually everything is excellent here but my favorite is the veggie burrito. The salsa bar is a special treat. Salsa Morita has the best flavor of any salsa in Hamilton county. Trust me, because I think I have tried them all. I was here today at 6:30 pm and the restaurant was very clean. The restroom had just been cleaned and was sparkling. The employees were friendly and helpful.Sometimes great things are found in unusual places. Located next to a gas station and near Crew carwash, Samano's is a must try."
"Food was hot and fresh. I ordered vegetarian fajita nachos/peach margarita. It started getting busy while there and they managed to handle the crowd. Our waiter was friendly and fast. I'm a sucker for Mexican food and I've visited this restaurant several times in the past. It was clean. Music playing but not too loud."
"I had dinner here with a group of friends on a Friday night, and it was good we made a reservation as the place is fairly small and we were a larger group, but it would probably be safe to arrive without a reservation for a party of 2. Menus are via QR codes as the default, but they do have printed menus as well; mine had dried food on the pages, so maybe better to use the QR code version...The complimentary chips and salsas were good; the mild is very mild, and the medium had a little heat, but not at all hot. I had the blood orange margarita which was good and the tajin rim which is referred to as "spicy salt" here went well with it. Heads up that they have a $300 margarita on the menu...wonder if anyone has ever ordered that! Hopefully not accidentally....I had the tacos del mar, one fish (halibut) and one shrimp. Both were fine, but the shrimp was tastier. The halibut didn't have a ton of flavor; it is a tricky fish to not overcook which left me wondering why they don't just go with tilapia which is more economical and more forgiving. The beans and rice were actually quite good. Service was good, but they definitely seemed short staffed. There were no water refills and it took a bit for our order to be taken. Atmosphere is modern and casual. It was quiet enough that we could easily converse. Parking is easy in the shared shopping center parking lot."
"We love Mi Hacienda!! They have the best servers and service. They recently renovated the restaurant with new tables and seating and a whole new patio area with pergola. So gorgeous! Definitely grab dinner on the patio on one of these beautiful summer evenings."
"When we first arrived (after a difficult parking experience), we seemed to have stumbled upon Mr. Grumpy Pants for our server. But after some smiles and kindness, his demeanor did a complete about flip and he was a sweet Abuelo to our boys.Adults ordered the Enchilada Verde- which the beef was the best flavor while the chicken and cheese was enhanced with the green sauce.I should have asked for a side of lettuce and sour cream. The Pina Colada was especially yummy and I write this review under its influence. The neighborhood was absolutely adorable. As a tourist I had picked another place but it was in a strip mall so my husband searched and found this spot.Ambiance on point. I don't know what neighborhood this is in, but it is worth a walk around if you have time and no kiddos that need to get to bed."
"This place is LEGIT. A choose your own adventure Chipotle style of restaurant that is way, way better and authentic. Will be returning again to try their tortas because I saw the fresh bread and it looked so good!"
"This place is really good signage on their menu and lists everything on the menu really clearly with English translations and also shows whether things are vegetarian and gluten-free so this is really celiac friendly. The server was really friendly as well and he made sure to let us know how to eat pupusas (with the cabbage ) in case this was not our first time. Everything was good. Not exactly cheap though but I think it was worth the price. This was the first time I have seen pupusas with an alpastor option though I didn't get to try it this time so I will have to be back. Also, this is my first time seeing flan and red velvet cake as a combined dessert."
"Delicious lunch specials and not crowded. Staff was attentive and amazing.Started with their awesome chips and queso. Let me tell you these chips never break off like those other places. I started off with the à la cart quesadilla with just chicken and cheese with the chips and salsa. I definitely was full by the time I went back to work no time for margaritas today but let me tell you they have the best margaritas ever especially the jalapeño I highly a recommend the pitchers."
"I've had this spot bookmarked for quite some time so it was a treat to finally mark it off the bucket list for a speedy carryout lunch recently. I was delightfully surprised to find that it is attached to a Mexican bakery (double the fun!). The bakery had a great array of savory and sweet treats. As for Tacos 46, it is bustling at lunch time! We ordered chicken tacos with rice and beans and all were quite delicious. Expect to spend around $10 pp for lunch. They have a vast lineup of aguas frescas as well as desserts like tres leches on display at the counter. Next time I will have to try their grilled onions - they seemed to be displayed everywhere. It looks like next time we'll have to try the al pastor tacos based on the review recommendations. Overall, a tasty visit and I look forward to more Tacos 46 in our future."
"The ambiance was great; this restaurant has a party atmosphere, which sometimes gets a little loud and obnoxious, but for some reason, I liked it here. Service was good, but the star of this show was the food. This may have been the best fajita platter I've had in a long time. The location is a bit out of the way for us, so I'm not sure how soon we'll return, but this really was a great meal in every respect."
"I've never heard of this place before coming here by chance; the place I was originally going to closed early, and I am not mad about that.I don't usually come out this way, so after a quick check of Yelp, it showed this place close by and highly recommended. And another plus, they offer online ordering through Yelp. This place is easy to miss if you aren't looking for it. But surprisingly, the restaurant was very busy for a weekday afternoon; almost all of the tables were occupied. Always a plus to see a place poppin' at non-peak times imo.I made sure to order a couple of different tacos to try (and share with the hubs) so I ordered two of each of the asada, pollo and carnitas tacos. I clearly realized my mistake after taking one bite, because, omg, these tacos are are so, so tasty. I think someone used the word phenomenal and I 100% agree. Out of the three types of tacos, the chicken taco was my favorite. I am, of course, not opposed to trying every taco they offer to confirm it's my favorite. :PNote about ordering time: I ordered through the Yelp app and arrived within 7 minutes of ordering. The restaurant was very busy, however, I only waited for less than 5 minutes for my takeout to be ready. Pretty amazing imo :)"
"What a great, friendly little place. Good food. Friendly staff. Awesome vibe. Professional level burritos seal the deal for me. I always try to check out the funky vintage store next door-perfect 70's pink polyester suit displayed today."
"When I tell you, this food is on point I'm not joking about what I'm saying a 24 hour food spot with very good food and low prices"
"Great authentic Mexican! We had a party of 10 we were seated almost immediately. The server was patient while we waited for another person in our group. There were so many different items on the menu to choose from. That was overwhelming in a good way. I liked that they had several seafood items as well as menudo. The food was good. The "small" burritos were filling and we had 4 hungry teenagers with us and they were satisfied. We didn't have room for desert. I saw a gorgeous delicious looking cake in a case by the register. The bathroom sink was really cool very odd but it fit with the decor and cool artistic vibe. The beans and rice were good the tamale was perfect and the enchilada good but I think that it needed more sauce. Anyway we all enjoyed our meal."
"We had dinner here right after they opened in 2019 and loved everything about Loren and Mari's, and I'm excited to return today. I'd never been to the brunch buffet, and I wasn't disappointed. The restaurant has a large bar as you enter and several separate dining areas. Some are large enough for large parties and even small events. The full service bar is fairly large, and you can dine at the bar. Booths are also in the bar area. The buffet brunch had an excellent selection of breakfast and something for everyone. Beautiful mixture of American breakfast items and delicious selection of Mexican lunch items. The buffet started with biscuit and gravy, scrambled eggs, pancakes, French Toast, waffles, hashbrowns, fajita meat, bite size slices of burritos/enchiladas with different meats, excellent noodles, tortillas, queso, meats, beans, rice, salsa and all the sides to satisfy your tastebuds. These are just a few of the options on the buffet. The desserts were covered as well. Small dark chocolate cake bites garnished with a strawberry slice were rich and amazing. It's definitely my favorite dessert. Those who prefer a healthy dessert would be satisfied with the large bowls of fresh fruit, which was excellent with watermelon, cantelope, strawberries, and grapes. Other desserts were available as well. The group had a fun time getting to know each other better. All found the buffet and price an excellent deal. Our drink orders arrived timely for 8 of us, and our server was so efficient and friendly. She handled each request timely, and no one waited long for those continuous requests such as extra napkins and refill on drinks (coffee, sodas, salsa).Overall, we all agreed this was a terrific restaurant with delicious food, excellent service, and a comfortable atmosphere. Whether you come for brunch, lunch, or dinner, I don't think you'll be disappointed. You'll find a wide selection of delicious food."
"Tortilleria Garcia is a small, modest restaurant which can be classified as a "Hidden Gem". Originally, I had visited this place several years ago, and really did not think much of it. However, after visiting this place in March, I was hooked! I could not get enough of the Steak Tacos with all the toppings.I loved the way they assemble the food in front of you, so you can see what is going in where. I also love the variety of what they offer: (Frozen Latin treats, drinks, cakes and Flan...which I desperately want to try). I can go in, place my order to one of the friendly cashiers, and in a few minutes, I'm walking out with a taco lunch or dinner. The specials seem really great too, although, I've only had one. If you ever have a chance to try their burrito special on Friday, do so!If Tortilleria Garcia is so good, why did I rate it 4 stars? The answer is consistency -- depending on who assembles your food. There were times when I would have tacos with a decent amount of meat and toppings. There were also times when I barely had any meat or toppings in my taco. Nevertheless, the food is pretty decent, and the staff's friendliness make it a great place to visit. I would encourage anyone who loves Latin food to try this restaurant. It will be worth your while."
"I have to update my review. Sometimes I'm dumb and make judgements without having all the information. Pancho's actually has really great Mexican food for Indiana. In fact, it's probably some of the best Mexican food in Indianapolis.I wrote my original three-star review shortly after moving to Indy from Southern California. So I was coming from a place with excellent Mexican food on every corner, and my standards were very high. But now that I've been in Indy for six years and I've tasted the Mexican food here, I can confidently say that Pancho's is great. Is it Southern Californian great? No, but you can't fairly compare the two, so I'm grading on a curve here. It gets an A for Indy Mexican food. This visit, we got BRC burritos (bean, rice and cheese burritos), and they tasted like very good BRC burritos. BRC burritos are not on their menu, so we had to specify what we wanted, which took a little explaining. I also got the flautas (taquitos), and it was a nice and normal portion of two flautas (taquitos), rice and beans. The food came out super fast, so there was practically no waiting before we dined on our used-to-be-three-star-but-is-now-five-star food."
"I enjoy coming here for lunch because it is so afforable. The food is consistently good, the food arrives so quickly you can return to work on time and the service is always great. I think this is my favorite restaurant between the one on West 38th Street because the staff displays more personality, promptness, and checks on their customers often. West 38th still has great food and good service and is still worth visiting. Don't write 38th St off as the differences are miute and depend on the servers' personality. It's just friendly servers that aren't as consistent as Avon. The menu has many of their own specials and worth trying. You'll find all the standard menu options as most Mexican restaurants. My husband loves the Steak ala Hacienda. It has many hot jalapenos which he loves. I do enjoy the chicken ala Hacienda, but you have to request it as the chicken is not on the menu. I have a tendency to lean toward the Chili Rellenos or enchiladas. The tacos are good here, too. Don't pass on dessert as the Flan is excellent. The restaurant has a large dining area with booths and tables. They can handle large groups easily. They is a bar with an additional dining area to the right when you enter. Just let the hostess know you're interested in the bar. In the evenings, especially, you'll find families and various groups having a great time. Sometimes, it's very loud with conversation and laughter. I love to be in a spot where folks are enjoying each other, plus having fun. This is La Hacienda. Good food, great service, and a place where you can have fun. Stop by!"
"I don't know where to begin when it comes to singing the praises of this family owned local to Indianapolis business. This Fishers locale is very low-key but deserves to be recognized as the most extra! Someone had suggested that I take my little Mexican food and margarita group here for an evening, and I am so grateful for their referral. What a treasure trove of tequila, cerveza, and insanely delicious food!Approaching the restaurant, I immediately appreciated the large parking lot with complimentary parking available. It looks like they have a cute patio area, but it's still early in the season so that was closed for now. Then I see that they offer a 10% military discount to active and veteran serviceman... cue the slow applause. Respect! Then I finally make it through the front entrance and am taken back by the effort and detail they have put into setting up little areas throughout the restaurant for group pics and selfies. So fun! I arrived about 15-minutes before my large group reservation and took a seat at the bar to check out their margarita list. (Yes, they take reservations online!) I had a group of 10 expected, and they were nice enough to throw in two extra chairs for unexpected guests. Circling back to the drink list, no one will walk away thirsty from here. I went with the coconut margarita (a.k.a. the Coco Loco margarita), and appreciated the little extra razzle-dazzle from the bartender when he set fire to the coconut garnish in my drink. I love a good show! As I sat enjoying my drink at the bar, I looked around and saw more and more details that they had to take in time to maneuver. I mean Holograms?! So cool!So my group arrived and we were seated in the cutest area! You can see from my pics that they had really pretty blue leather chairs, bold and bright wallpaper, and a neon sign that spoke our language and made another area for cute photo ops. You immediately want to have a good time at this place!Service was impeccable. We had one server who got everything correct at our table. He had help from the staff, and it was nice to see them communicating in order to provide excellent service. Our server was extremely friendly and helpful by answering our questions. He was even nice enough to take a selfie with us at the end! One of the members of the group comes here regularly for lunch because he and his coworkers are so obsessed with it. I can see why! Everything was completely delicious, portions were huge, and the drinks will have you feeling warm in your soul. It's my understanding that they used to be located in the shopping center directly across the street, and they moved to this new location for more space. Greatly deserved, Red Habanero! Hats off to your crew! We will definitely be back to try your all day breakfast as well as more drinks from your extensive cocktail list. Cheers!"
"We enjoy Lindo's Mexican Restaurant because they have a large, diverse menu, plus the food and service are always good. The atmosphere is bright and colorful and always feels festive. All the staff we have encountered are helpful and friendly. This is a great restaurant to dine at, especially if you have a large group. Many 6 - and 8-top tables are in the first dining area with the ability to push more tables together for whatever size group arrives. A nice size bar is tucked away to your left as you enter. There have been several changes since we've been here. The cocktail menu now offers 20 oz. and 40 oz. margaritas and tequila flights with 3 new types of margaritas; Tropical, Black, and Coco Azul Margarita. An Old Fashioned has been added plus a Cazuelita Tiaquepaque in a clay bowl filled with tajin, squirt, sea salt, grapefruit, orange, lime and tequila. Interesting margarita? You can find all your favorite appetizers and entrees, plus options other restaurants do not carry. Their lunch menu is generous and reasonably priced. Lunch is offered Monday - Friday, 11:00 - 2:30 p.m. Lunch combos, Mexican pizza, burritos, several salads, egg options, chimichangas, burritos, and veggie entrees are just a few of the lunch options. The regular menu is extensive as well and has many burritos, enchiladas, fajitas, carnitas, quesadillas, veggie entrees, salads, molcajete, tacos, and more. Tacos de Birria is a new option I'm seeing today with marinated goat meat topped with cilantro and onions served with a bowl of goat broth for dipping. Today, my husband ordered Cameron's Chimichanga served with rice and beans and a large Dos Equis Amber. He devoured his lunch and appeared to enjoy every bite.I ordered the 3 Chicken Enchiladas Poblanas topped with Mole Pablano sauce (black sauce with nutty-sweet taste and spice) served with excellent, fluffy rice and, beans. I ordered one ear of Elote (Corn on the Cob with seasonings), which was tasty but overcooked. Our server was swamped with several large groups after we received our food, but another server helped with the to-go boxes and check. It did get loud in the dining area with the additional crowd. Overall, it was a nice lunch, and we'll be back."
"Tiffany our server was awesome! She brought me out a taste of there Tex-Mex Sauce which I'd have to be in the mood for plus add a lot of hot sauce. To me, it'd be when I'm in the mood for chili so I decided against the popular Tex-Mez cheese Enchiladas that my gf swears by & against Elvis entree that seems like a delish sampler. Live the salsa, lite chips & jalapeño ranch on my Taco Salad I ordered. The cilantro vinaigrette reminded me of a strange Thousand Island, not close to a vinaigrette which I ordered on the side. Instead, I went w/ Tiffany's suggestion of the jalapeño Ranch. I am not a good judge of spice cuz I live for spice so I'd say it is not hot, but you may think it is. None of what I ordered was hot even w/ hot sauce. Next time I will a sauce from the hot side to try.Ordered the chicken fajitas which came w/ all the fixens & was tasty. The Chicken Car Bon was not good at all. I'd never get it again or recommend it. I only gave four stars because I found a hard piece of bone or something in my ground beef Taco Salad. The beef was seasoned superbly, fresh lettuce & crispy lite tortilla strips all combined perfectly. Omit the tomato & guac. Excellent service & 5 star Texas Tini with stuffed jalapeño olives. Very nice area & easy to find."
"My sister and I stopped in around 3 pm so they weren't crowded at all. The dining rooms were not overly decorated like some Mexican restaurants which I liked. They were separated into sections with half or three quarter walls for privacy and safety which I liked. We were immediately greeted, and seated. We were furnished a huge bowl of salsa chips and two cups of salsa. We asked for and got a cup of cheese sauce too, which was really creamy. Our orders were take quickly and food came out shortly thereafter piping hot.Today was Taco Tuesday so we both ordered Tacos. She went with the hard shelled and I took two soft shell, all the ground beef kind. I ordered one cheese enchilada and she got one burrito. Since we ordered everything via the combo platters we both got rice and beans. I loved my rice and beans and ate all of them both, plus half the enchilada and almost both tacos. All of it was really good. She ate all of her burrito and taco, but left most of the rice and some of the beans because its just too much food all around; really big portions. Bigger than any other Mexican restaurant I've ever been to.Our servers checked on us and brought the check promptly including the change. Over all a nice late lunch for her and an early dinner for me."
"The thing that I like about Samanos is that they have a beans, rice and cheese burrito (BRC burrito) on the menu. It's listed under the kids' section of the menu and it's called a Chiquito Burrito! Chiquito means "small" in Spanish, and it is indeed a small burrito meant for children. But the BRC burrito is adequate and it's a BRC burrito, and like I said it's on the menu, so you don't have to explain to some lost soul that you want a burrito with beans, rice and cheese in it. You just have to say "chiquito." We also got a Mexican burrito and an Adrian's burrito, the latter of which is covered in bacon. It's a bit of an overkill, if you ask me, because you can't really taste the bacon because there is so much else going in with the burrito. In general, though, the burritos at Samanos are good, and I'd even go so far as saying they're above average when it comes to Midwestern Mexican food!"
