Great to see a place stocked with locally owned items! For example baked goods, from Amelia's and 4 Birds. They also have unique shelf stable items that's hard to find in a grocery store. Their deli meat and cheese options are vast. Their made to order food items looked amazing and well thought out. Their hot sandwiches are the main draw and I could taste why. The veggie option on Amelia's bread with veggies and vegan mozzarella was such a treat and had a great flavor with a bit of heat. I couldn't leave without purchasing a couple of Amelia's bread bags and they were just as fresh as stopping by Amelia's. Street parking nearby and a small lot across the street. The employees were friendly and helpful answering questions about their items in store.

On our way north we stopped with friends to try this local deli. It has a store on one side and then some indoor seating on the other. They also have outdoor seating which gets some nice shade on a hot day.They have a variety of options throughout the store for things like sauces, jars of fun food, pastas and crackers plus local offerings you can take home and cook.The best part though is the deli and meat counters, in that you can order their various side dishes like pasta salad, macaroni salad, broccoli salad etc and sandwiches made to order! We had a variety which all were on different breads (rolls, baguette, brioche...) with different meats and mine was a veggie. The flavors were excellently picked and I loved my hot veggie! The others exclaimed over their choices and said they loved the amount of meat ratio to bread to fixings. Everything was devoured and we took some sides home for later.Definitely a fun spot to try and check out for both sandwiches and other items.

Great small specialty food & meat market in Greencastle - excellent assortment of fun food n beverages esp deli and meats. Grabbed some triple dipped pumpkin spice flavored malted milk balls- yum!

I can't say enough good things about this place! The meat quality is outstanding, the customer service is amazing and the prices are right. Their house blend makes the best burgers I've ever made. They also have this Mac and cheese that we now buy weekly. It's called "Kim's Mac and Cheese" and Kim knows what she is doing CLEARLY! Most importantly though, the owners are almost always there and are great. The last time I was there, my toddler was asleep on my shoulder and the owner offered to carry my groceries out to my car for me. This is the kind of customer service you get by supporting local and why I keep going back. They are a true small town butcher and I am happy to have them close to me.

Go there and only there to get ground round. Pretty standard price as far as other places go but definitely better quality. A lot of different unique items you can get there that I wouldn't know where to find anywhere else ( tons of spices, rubs, marinades). Could definitely do without the attitude of a few of the employees that work there though.

Gold Cleaver is newer to the Avon community but it is such a welcomed business. The service is great, their meat has never disappointed (we frequently get their sirloin & chicken wings most, but have tried a lot). We have another meat market in Avon that has never made me feel like they wanted my business nor was I appreciated, but Gold Cleaver hits the service with a smile every time. They are willing to answer questions or get you in & out if that's what you need. Highly suggest trying them out for fresh meat, beer and even some great frozen options!
