"If half stars were a thing, I think 3.5 would be perfect for Milkman. To start, you walk in and order at the counter. They have a cooler with a pretty good beverage selection. There are a handful of diner-style table for sitting and you seat yourself after ordering. The menu has 4 or 5 burger options and then a slew of a la carte toppings (each with a fee). We got a Spicy Burger and a Cowboy burger as well as a chocolate shake and a side of fries. The burgers were pretty tasty. Truthfully, they kind of tasted like Five Guys burgers, which is where my lower rating comes from. Also, the fact that each topping is an additional price can make it a relatively pricey meal. The shake was the best part of our meal, that was delicious. The fries were also quite tasty. They were crispy and well seasoned. Overall, for the price and selection, I'm not sure I would go back."
"This has been one of my "go to" places for all things wellness. You can choose from a juice bar that uses fresh vegetables and fruits, a food bar that has delicious dishes made with your health in mind, groceries that include organic options that are priced reasonably, and an array of supplements that often include local vendors. It is a unique place with caring people who will prioritize your health!!"

"Whaaattttt this place is amazing A gem in a forest of junk If you care about yourself or health In general This it your spotSo good food"
"They have juice! It's not freshly made in front of your eyes, but it's freshly bottled, which is as good as you're going to get around here. I am a masochist when it comes to juice, and I like my juice to taste "healthy" and bitter and earthy and slightly unpleasant -- like drinking a liquid salad. If you like green juices like me, then you will want to get Garden Table's Emerald Elixir, which is juiced romaine lettuce, kale, spinach, celery, cucumber, ginger, turmeric, lemon, Himalayan salt and pepper. You can't get more liquid-salad than that. It tastes nicely green and salty and peppery, and like it's doing good things to your insides. I should mention that I got my juice to go. They have a little to-go area where you can get juice, coffee and other hot beverages, and dessert. It's located at the back of the restaurant. I visited to get a bottle of juice, and also a hot chocolate (for my child) and a dessert (for my other child). My dessert-loving child got the chocolate peanut butter cake, which was very pretty and came with a side of chocolate syrup. They had one other cake option, and then some packaged Salamat cookies (a local Indy bakery). Not too many choices, but we visited in the afternoon, so maybe they have more baked goods earlier in the morning."
"I'm so excited to see the space that was the cafe opened with more bread and a few sweet treat offerings! I hope they'll do the layer cakes they typically offer on Sundays but on Saturdays too when I always pop in. European quality but here in Indy!"
"Huevos ranchers was delicious! Chorizo well flavored, not greasy. The corn tortillas were tasty and soft enough to cut easily. All well balanced, would get again.Service was great! A good design, the pony wall between tables in the middle matching wainscoting adds privacy and comfort."
"If you're a true coffee snob, try the espresso. Not bad. This review requires 85 more characters to post."
"Rush bowls are amazing!!! The owner is so nice and explained the entire menu to me. She explained how all of their items are freshly made to order and have no added sugar. Everything is organic which I appreciate and they cater to any allergies. This bowl is the best smoothie bowl I've ever had. Definitely will be coming back for more in the future!!"
"Quick food and nicest staff! We eat here and order pick up and it's always good. The staff remember us and make it a great experience every time we go."
"I had lunch here on a weekday and there were about 4 people in line ahead of me which almost sent me elsewhere since I didn't have a ton of time, but the line moved pretty quickly. They are making the food to order so do expect to wait a couple of minutes after ordering, but they are working quickly and it's definitely worth waiting a bit for fresh food!I had the pabellon arepa, and it was delicious! The beef was tender and flavorful and the plantain's sweetness went well with everything else. I went with the side of avocado sauce for 50 cents extra and it was very tasty and went well with the arepa, but honestly, it was probably a teaspoon of sauce so it only went with maybe 1-2 bites of the arepa. Hmmm....I wouldn't even give it a though if they weren't charging extra for it. My suggestion would be to maybe either include a choice of one sauce in the price or increase the portion a bit. The portion of the arepa itself was perfect for a light lunch, but if you're really hungry, you'll probably want to add on something else too. Also, their menu only lists their specialty beverages, and so that's all I thought they had, and I didn't want a juice based drink, so I didn't order anything to drink, but while I was waiting for my order I saw they did have fountain drinks that just weren't listed on the menu. Anyway, I will definitely order an arepa again, but will likely skip ordering a side of sauce and will know next time that I can get a fountain drink here rather than getting one from another establishment at the Garage."
"I stumbled upon this spot after picking up croissants from the neighbor, Le Croissant. I had an hour between meetings and was craving something healthy. I saw that Root 2 Rise had great Yelp reviews, so I stopped in. They had cute tables outside, a beautifully-tiled counter inside, and lots of artsy, eclectic seating and tables throughout the indoor space. As someone who works from home, I quickly pegged it as a perfect spot to work from. The employees immediately greeted me too, so it all-around felt like a win.Their menus include smoothies, juices, a soup of the day, and a small fridge full of mini to-go meals. I got the anti-inflammatory juice: celery, kale, apple, pineapple, ginger, and lemon. It tasted great and felt good for the body. I was also thrilled to see a small spinach salad with chicken salad and walnuts on top in the fridge. It was a little bowl and so delicious. It's so rare to find a healthy, quick option like that. They also had a few burritos and sandwiches to choose from too.I easily connected to their wifi and got some work done while I enjoyed the food and juice. Such a perfect find. Only things I'd add to this spot would be a hook in the bathroom so you don't have to set your purse or backpack on the floor, as well as a recycling option, since I had to toss my juice and food containers, even though I enjoyed both in-person."
"Right off Allisonville and 116th, Okaya is a great local spot for sushi and more!We are always greeted with a smile and warm welcome. When we bring our toddler, they are nothing but sweet to her and take interest in her jabber. So kind! Every waiter or waitress we have is nice and accommodating. The restaurant is incredibly clean and inviting. The food is fresh and has such good flavor. The sushi is impeccably made! The best I have had in the area!I also love their egg rolls and almost always get them as an appetizer. I agree with another reviewer that there is absolutely no smoke smell, even tho the restaurant is nestled between two smoke shops. I've been at this establishment a handful of times and have never experienced any smoky odor.FYI: They do not prepare hibachi in front of you. It is all cooked in the kitchen. Don't let that deter you; the food is great!"

This was our first time at Milkman, so we were a little overwhelmed by the choices but the friendly staff answered our questions and gave us some recommendations. We placed our order at the counter then had a seat and our made to order lunch was brought out to our table about 10 minutes later. My husband had the chili cheese fries and liked them a lot. I got a "make your own damn burger" with swiss cheese, grilled onions, and bbq sauce with a chocolate shake to drink. Each topping is an extra charge, so I would have preferred more...if I'm paying $1 for bbq sauce, it should be more than a smidge. That being said, the burger was very good on it's own, so I did not go up to ask for more. The restaurant has a old fashioned diner vibe with old black and white photos of celebrities from that era displayed on the walls. The dining room was very clean, as was the unisex bathroom.

With the new year, I am aiming to eat healthier. I decided to check this place out. It is a local minority owned small business. They have an extensive menu of wraps, salads, juice, smoothies, and flat bread pizzas. They also offer prepared meals and food prep. They have a somewhat small parking lot that it shares with the other business in the strip mall it is located. There is a large amount of handicap parking spot that takes up most of the front of the strip mall. The cafe is cute. It has an adequate sized dining area with tables and bar seating along the wall. They were playing hip music throughout the cafe. The staff, who I think included the owner were very friendly. I ordered the Jamaican Jerk Chicken wrap and the Pineapple Punch pressed juice. The juices are only made in the morning, so you the later in the day, the smaller the selection of juice. It took a while to get my wrap, I would say about 15 to 20 minutes. This food is made fresh and is high quality, so it costs a bit more than your typical burger joint meal. The wrap was spicy like I like it. It was fresh and hot. It was very flavorful, tasty and delicious. This place is packed with natural and healthy options. I will admit that I was always hesitant to eat healthy because it was always more expensive than fast food and ordering by the number was always so much more convenient and simple. This place has relaxed my reservations and showed my that healthy food is a viable option for me, if only for a few times a week (Rome was not built in a day). This is a very nice cafe that offers a change of pace. I recommend checking this place out. They have friendly service, and good healthy food.

This is one of my favorite spots to get coffee and a pastry! The service is great and the coffee is unique and wonderful!! My daughter loves the monon mint mocha and I am a huge fan of the dirty hippie!!! Just so delicious...I also highly recommend the braided ham and cheese bread. They only have a walk up window, but we love to take our food to go and walk the Monon or the Indianapolis Arts center.

Breakfast is by far my favorite meal of the day and therefore I am always in search of a new breakfast spot to try out. It was easy to get excited about Sunny Day!This little Mexican spot in a strip mall in front of the Carmel Meijer might fool you from the outside, but the inside is cozy, fresh, bright and buzzing like a classic breakfast diner. They also have some nice tables with umbrellas for shade out on the patio. The host was friendly and our server too. As busy as they were, I was impressed with how prompt everything was. The coffee was delicious and rich and not too bitter. I ordered Huevos Rancheros. Eggs were perfectly cooked over medium as I requested and all of the ingredients were fresh. The chorizo was flavorful with just the right amount of spice. My husband ordered the French Toast, which made me jealous so I ordered a side of French toast too and I'm glad I did. Thick slices of brioche bread perfectly battered and fluffy. My husband in particular enjoyed the maple whipped cream on his. Oh and I can't forget the diced potatoes! Crispy, seasoned and lightly battered. They were the perfect accompaniment to the whole meal. We enjoyed our visit so much I ended up taking my parents there the following weekend. Safe to say this will be one of our regular spots!

After seeing a slew of raving reviews, I had to give Yafa Golden Coffee a try. I arrived at about 12:30 PM on a Saturday and found a small table for two where I was able to set up my laptop and get some work done in their peaceful, warm, and stimulating atmosphere. They offer the convenience of complimentary Wi-Fi and parking. It looks like the owner was highly present in the dining area, constantly straightening chairs and wiping down tables as people left. He was pleasantly friendly and very hospitable. I did notice that when I left at around 1:30 PM, all the tables were full of chatting and studious folks so keep in mind that this is a highly desirable mingling destination where seating may be limited during high traffic times. As a coffee lover, I was torn in my choice as they offer an abundance of coffee and non-coffee beverages. I went with their seasonal pumpkin spice latte, and was not disappointed! Seriously, this is probably the best PSL that I have ever had. The espresso is perfectly roasted and not overly acidic like the kind found at the popular chain coffee houses. It was creamy and had a perfect balance of cinnamon and pumpkin. And what a pastry selection! The pictures do not do their beautifully assembled sweets any justice. The colors are vibrant, the pastries are flaky, and their presentation is stunning. I'm not well-versed in international desserts, but this is absolutely a go-to place to sample both nontraditional and traditional sweets. My pumpkin muffin was wonderfully moist and flavorful. My only gripe was the state of the bathroom. I appreciate that they are gender neutral and well stocked, but they looked like they had not been wiped down in a few days. Stains and dust were abundant on all the surfaces, and I hate to think that the people preparing my food touch those same surfaces. With as much business as Yafa pulls in, I would suggest an hourly bathroom check to simply wipe down everything. Maintaining a sanitary environment is key to any dining establishment.

I love trying new spots!!This is tucked right in the developing area of Fishers Nickle plate area. There is street parking available. The inside is nice and clean. The staff is friendly. The menu options are endless. I didn't know what to choose so I picked the first item on the menu. I had the beach bowl. The size serving size is quite large. I couldn't eat all of it. The ingredients are absolutely delicious. I topped my bowl with peanut butter and it taste very natural. My daughter got a smoothie and loved it as well. Can't wait to try other menu options!! Welcome to Fishers RUSH BOWLS!

"Okay, Lava. I will say that for the last three years I've been giving you a very bad rap. But my visit 3 weeks ago changes my mind. I won't get into why you got a bad rep for me in the first place. My girlfriend from Detroit was in town and had a simple request: "Please take me to a place with the music and strong drinks". I added the hookah part as I knew I wanted to relax and she needed to two. I initially thought about Lava. I hoped that getting in would not be a problem on a Friday night. We decided to go around 7:00pm and it definitely was not an issue to get past the bouncer )who has electronic license scanner by the way) and then get seated at a booth. We had really good strong drinks and shots. The server was beyond nice and very attentive. And I must say the hookah here was strong and on point all night long. More so than I've ever experienced at the Egyptian Room! Of course the room didn't really start to fill up and get a very party vibe until around 9:00 p.m. but this gave us time to talk and enjoy each other. Then around 9:00 pm we got to great music, mainly R&B and trap. We left around 11:00pm ish feeling good and having a good time. I definitely will try again using the same method of coming a little earlier to claim a spot and I'm staying majority of the night. I probably would have avoid this place on Saturdays as I've always seen a line outside the door to get in. It also depends on what kind of hookah feel you're looking for. Lava is the party spot with a party feel and loud music. If you're looking for something mellow but a little bit of the same type of music, Egyptian Room is up the street. Lava, I appreciate you and I look forward to doing business with you in the future."
"One of the few meal prep/restaurants in town.I have not had not their meal prep food so I am only reviewing about the made to order food. I will say they have quite a large selection of meal prep that you can buy on the spot and take home or order beforehand. The food selection is pretty good, portions are on the smaller size but prices are very fair. The food and ingredients are better than most if not all fast food places nearby. I've had the buffalo chicken wrap which was really good. The sides are on the smaller size but are still good. I think the portions are actually normal but we expect such big portions as the average that they seem small. They also have smoothies and iced coffee, which I have not tried, as well as they sell protein powder and snacks to go. The seating inside is a must of high tops and regular tables, it has a very bright and open feel and parking is right out front and easy to get to.The staff here is also very kind, and helpful and the orders come out quite fast considering they are made when ordered.I very much enjoy eating here and hope to try the meal prep items soon."
"Good food, great atmosphere and the staff are friendly. I enjoy the slow paced, laid back vibe and the menu is excellent. Need to add Irish Coffee to the Adult Desires Menu"
"I am embarrassingly, ridiculously obsessed with Everbowl! My go-to is the build your own with a half acai, half vanilla base, granola, peanut butter, blueberries, strawberries and bananas. Could I make this myself at home? Probably. Would it be as good? Definitely not! They also have the cutest spoons, and we've amassed quite a collection here in the last couple of months. Most of their items are vegan and everything is so fresh and delicious!"
"My kids love Greenleaf, and because of that I pay the Greenleaf prices! About once a week during the Summer we had "smoothie dinners" where they'd literally have a smoothie from Greenleaf and something like crackers and hummus alongside it and we'd call it good. Here's what I love about Greenleaf:-Natural ingredients. No "smoothies" that are actually frozen corn syrup and food dye.-There is a blue smoothie. I convinced my kiddo it was basically a blue slushie and the rest is history.-Its typically pretty quiet in there, which makes it a great place to study or quietly chit-chat.-Get the app and place your order ahead for pick-up if you're in a hurry or running around between practices, drop-offs, etc.-With the app you automatically earn rewards with every purchase-With the rewards program you get a free smoothie on your birthday!"
"I definitely love a good smoothie...especially after a workout!! Lucky for me Tropical Smoothie Cafe is just across the street from LA Fitness...so it worked out perfectly. The place is bright and open with seating for a team or for a couple of people. The people who work there are very nice and try their best to be fast. The smoothies are tasty. On this trip I opted for a smoothie that had Acai, mango and other great fruit. Next time I'll try one of their green smoothies! Overall a great smoothie spot in a great location!"
"I'd been craving a Mangonada for a few days and boy did this place hit the spot! My beverage was sweet, salty, spicy and full of mangoes! What else can you ask for? My friend got a yogurt and it was chock full of fresh fruit, too. I will definitely be coming back again!"
"First night in the city and found ourselves hungry in the evening. Came across this restaurant on a delivery app and decided to give it a try. Since I did not go into the restaurant, this eating is strictly for the food and attention to detail. I ordered a lamb over rice, Dorito nachos, and a Philly. I was SHOCKED at the large amount of food that arrived. It smelled and looked amazing. There was a huge portion of lamb which was really a great surprise. The nachos were packed with toppings. I made some special requests on the Philly and it was prepared just as I had asked. Everything we ordered tasted great, fresh, and made to order. I would recommend this spot to anyone!"
"Craving a shake w/out the calories, then you've come to the right place!! Love having a healthy small portion meal - with many flavor options! The best part, the ice to liquid ratio is perfect! The struggle of making at home drinks is getting that ratio just right and they make theirs taste like a delicious shake with a fraction of the calories! I do and will go back often!!"
"This place used to be "The 915". Good food here under its new name. Rock n Roll themed. I had the Mariah Curry chicken sammy. Good call Danno..!"
"Without a doubt a cool little spot we just found around the area! Wanted something sweet n todays experience here couldn't have been better my son absolutely LOVED his ice cream, the crepes were phenomenal! N the smoothie was AMAZING HIGHLY RECOMMEND"
"I'm hooked! I can't believe I live so close this place and I've never been before!!! Parched offers a lengthy menu with so many yummy options! I had the Acai bowl (first timer) I absolutely loved it! You can easily order online! Park in g was a breeze since they have their own parking lot! Everything is so fresh and made to order! I HIGHLY recommend this place! If you haven't been yet you simply must! The inside is super cute and Parched also exhibits many local artist! If you go to the Parched website you can also find a cool list of events!"
"I absolutely love this place! its soooo delicious! The service is exceptional and the husband and wife team is a dynamic duo. I always get Lamar's Sweet Chicken Sandwich and it's scrumptious. The Sauce on there is divine! Y'all have to try it if you love it's combination and have a sweet and spicy palate."
"Instead of the same boring fast food options that leave you feeling bloated and disgusting 20 minutes after eating, I decided to try a shake and tea combo from Noble Nutrition. I was going to give it a try a few weeks ago, but without a proper website (or a *Yelp page) I found myself clueless on what to order. Since Noble Nutrition seems to be the new kid on the block, I decided to follow their Instagram page for some insight. After following for a few weeks and slowly building an idea of the menu, some pals and I took the flying leap to order. The three of us each ordered one tea and one shake (referred to as a combo). Each of us ordered something different for comparison. I called the store and ordered ahead for carry out. When I got to the store (super clean and COVID friendly) I was greeted by a couple staff who were just finishing up our 6 drink order. Upon paying, I was offered a loyalty card. Cool. One the staff even offered me help to my car. All around a pleasant experience with staff. Got back to work (about a 6min drive) and shakes were a little melty, but still cold and enjoyable. With the extra protein in the shake, 4 hours later I'm still feeling pretty good--and not hungry. The tea reminded me of a SweeTart, which I found to be perfect. Overall, we were all pleased with menu picks. We experienced: (shakes) turtle cheesecake, brownie batter, and strawberry shortcake and (teas) Mermaid, Bob Marley, and Georgia Peach. I snapped current menu selections for anyone interested...enjoy."
"At some point, maybe now, maybe millions did years in the future, the world will come to an end. If you've broken out of your COVID shell, get yourself to The Garage for a great meal and a rousing good time. With so many choices, I strongly recommend overeating. While you're there, visit Azucar Moreno for some delicious and (mostly) healthy Venezuelan cuisine in the quick.Azucar Moreno's restaurant is in the coolest, classiest food court in the land. Served by a true Venezuelan chef, the shop offers a smattering of dishes from different regions of the nation. I was hungry on my last visit, and I chose none other than the cachapas, which was a yellow corn pancake stuffed with white cheese, shredded chicken, and lots of veggie fixings. I was concerned when I didn't order two, but one was plenty. Ready in ten minutes, it's a large sandwich, best eaten with a fork -- and it's absolutely delicious. With it, I got a side of pico de gallo, which I felt was too heavy on the onions (and I like those). It gave me a bout of indigestion.Would I eat at Azucar Moreno again? You bet'cha! I'd just skip the pico."
"Great smoothies, no fake ingredients - real stuff. The maca cacao is the perfect treat, you'll feel better after. You can order online, it's pretty convenient if you're not trying to hangout. There are a couple of tables if you do want to."
"The son of the owner informed me this location and the Martinsville location are owned by his mom. It has been many months since I visited the Martinsville location and their menu has really expanded to include a plethora on lunch choices in addition to an expanded breakfast menu at both locations. And he said the menu will expand again soon. Since I was by myself and he had some time, he sat down and we chatted for awhile. The seating at both restaurants, and you can call them that now since they do not just sell drinks anymore, has been greatly expanded both indoors and outside. He also told me they are working on opening a Plainfield location.I ordered my usual The Slugger on a biscuit for my bread choice (4) with sausage for my meat choice (3) and provolone for my cheese choice (5). It was superb and just how I remembered it from the other location when I was eating breakfast there several days a week about a year ago. I also ordered one Biscuit & Gravy which was excellent as well.I love small local business establishments and cooking. They always have great service and a friendly atmosphere. I parked in the public parking lot across the street since it was a Saturday and street parking was full. The restroom was clean, well stocked and had a pleasant fragrance."
"Wow, was I surprised! I thought this was going to be primarily a coffee shop with maybe a couple of breakfast options. Man was I wrong! They have all kinds of breakfast selections. And their drinks menu is gargantuan! It covers an entire wall. This is a nice corner location with ample square footage. Dining in consists of five two seat tables in the front with a view of the street and a counter in the back with three chairs. From 7 am to 8 am, I observed a steady stream of customers ordering coffee and breakfast. I ordered one Biscuit and Gravy plus another Biscuit with Egg, Cheese, and Ham. Both selections were excellent. The biscuit and gravy was particularly awesome. I also ordered a Hot Chocolate. They have three choices of hot chocolate with or without whipped cream. Service was friendly, speedy and pleasant. The restaurant was clean and well stocked with coffee customizing accessories."
"YUMMY!! I've been here a few times. I try to go each time I'm at the Greenwood Mall. They're usually pretty busy, unfortunately. However, the shakes are SO GOOD! Being that they're handmade you can taste the freshness. I've also had the cookie dough, which was great as well but it's just so sweet and the scoops are pretty large. I would highly recommend this place!"
"Located just to the right once you enter Door 3 of the St Vincent's Hospital in Carmel, this little cafe has a nice variety of lunch and breakfast options. The menu items are listed behind and above the counter, but printed menus are also available if you prefer reading things closer to your face. You place your order on the right side and pay at the time you order. They call out the food item, not your name, so you need to pay attention so that someone who comes after you doesn't grab your smoothie or panini by mistake! We stopped by for lunch and didn't have to wait to order. Within minutes, our orders were ready. It was a little more challenging than when they call out names. I mean if you miss the first word or two of what is being called, you may not recognize the order. Fortunately, the place was only about half full and the cashier (very personable!) nodded at me like "Hey, that's yours!" I ordered a Turkey Cranberry panini which was pretty tasty. The turkey was served warm and juicy (for turkey). The Swiss cheese was thick and gooey (yum!) and the cranberry flavor was from cranberry mayo with cranberry bits. The panini was lightly grilled/pressed and was quite good.I also ordered the Tropical Oasis smoothie, which is a bunch of fruit juices including strawberry, pineapple, and banana. It was cold and refreshing, but like a lot of smoothies, you have to wait for the melting to catch up to your thirst. By the bottom of the smoothie, the flavor was a little monotone compared to the taste at the beginning. My wife opted for the Carnitas (pork) wrap. She opted for the flour wrap (four options are available) to hold her marinated carnitas, black beans, corn salsa, avocado, salsa and sour cream. As you can see, the food tastes on the lighter side, but is sufficient enough in quantity and flavor to satisfy someone on the go for lunch.Overall, it was easy to figure out the process and the staff were friendly in the limited interaction. They have a self serve soda fountain, and an accessory counter to the left of the main counter. Once you finish, you are expected to buss your own table. Review #458"
"This place has the BEST bubble tea I've ever had! My boyfriend really loves them too. We've tried all kinds of different flavors and I've really never been let down. They are super sweet and there is a huge variety to choose from. We make special trips to the mail just to get them."
"What an amazing local coffee shop/café find! They have everything from juice, to coffee, to smoothie bowls, to delicious food! This time around I got the green detox juice and it was FAAABULOUS!!! I cannot wait to come back and try more of their offerings! The vibe is relaxing, the shop is clean, you can't go wrong here!"
"3.75 out of 5 but I will give them a 4.Prices a bit steep for what it is. Wait times should be improved if they are going to last. 25 minutes for a quick counter service type place isn't going to cut it. It wasn't even that busy. Food all tasted fairly good. Most of it tasted fresh. Nice to have a wide variety of sauces and some different offerings. I don't think this is somewhere we will be back too often if they don't improve some things. I"
