"A group of about 10 of us met at Fujiyama to enjoy some very delicious Japanese fare and cocktails on a Thursday evening. Conveniently located just off of 465 and Emerson, this location is easy to access and offers complementary parking in its lot. Our group made seating arrangements in advance, so the staff was readily prepared for our arrival. Our orders were taken promptly, but dinner became a bit complicated as food was served at various times so that some people received their appetizers and dinners at the same time while others were left waiting with no food. Our waters and cocktails were also left empty for quite some time. They would have had a substantially higher tab from our table had the server returned to ask if we wanted more adult beverages as ours sat empty.With the bit of snafu in service, I do have to say that our appetizers, entrées, and cocktails were absolutely delicious. One can tell that the food is made with craft and care as fresh ingredients were concocted to be just lovely Japanese dishes. Their sake and cocktail collections are on point! We found it a little odd that they offer such an abundant alcohol selection, but the server was not able to tell us what house sake was available. (She just pointed at the bar from across the room.) Overall, I would give them another chance because the food and drinks were so tasty. Just be prepared for maybe not the most punctual service."

They have steak, spare ribs, sushi, dessert crepes made to order (limit 2 per person), a full salad bar, soups, pot roast, quesadillas and so much more."

They prepare the food very quickly and again you can order as much as you want, the only stipulation is, if there is more than seven pieces of sushi left and they charge you a dollar per piece so that people don't over order and waste."

We shared the table with a family with two young boys and a young man and 2 woman from Lafayette celebrating the young man's birthday. The eggrolls were crunchy on the outside and packed with pork goodness on the inside!I ordered the steak and shrimp as my entrée. The portions were large enough to have plenty for lunch the next day. They offer delivery but I just can't quite bring myself to order delivery sushi.I got there several minutes before my order was supposed to be ready, but they were just packing it up for me. I'm always a little nervous about traveling with soup too, but the miso was very well packaged along with the rest of my order.Sushi was delicious as was the miso and the salad. Super happy with how everything looked and tasted... the only issue was no soy sauce or wasabi. I've since ordered from them again and I simply add a note to include wasabi and soy sauce and I've not had a problem since."

We went on Valentine's Day so it was busy but we got seated right away. Service was good for how busy it was! Everyone was kind of working together so it made it efficient. You can get appetizers and sushi rolls unlimited for $25/person. We got crab Rangoon, house salad, miso soup and all the sushi we wanted for a very reasonable price! The menu is pretty extensive, with lots of options. The portions are large and everything tastes great. The best part is the BellaBot that brings your food out to you. It is a talking robot kitty!The only dissapointment was the fortune cookies. While they tasted great, the "fortunes" inside were more like proverbs, not fortunes. They have seated tables and also a sushi bar at the front. They serve chinese dishes, soups, appetizers, sushi, and desserts. We all had plenty of food to take home as leftovers. "The sushi is absolutely delicious at Takumi Sushi Hibachi. This little locally operated Japanese diner is located in a newer strip mall in Whitestown. (Takumi means artisan in Japanese.)You order at the counter then find a seat. The menu has an extensive selection of rolls. They also offer hibachi meals and bento boxes. They carry mostly Pepsi beverages with a few miscellaneous drinks such as Red Bull and sparkling water. There is no alcohol. For lunch, they feature sushi roll with miso soup combination. The freshly made rolls come out fairly quickly. The miso soup comes out hot and delicious. The sushi is presented beautifully, served with wasabi and pickled ginger. The Fire Cracker roll is spicy hot and delicious, my favorite of the Classic rolls. The cream cheese soothes the heat from the jalapeños perfectly. The breading is delicious on the roll. The Spicy Shrimp roll is also delicious with a perfect amount of spicy heat. The Shrimp Asparagus roll is a wonderful combination of fresh and tasty....a favorite. They have seven tables to dine-in but most people order delivery."

The calamari dish is outstanding, the sushi roll's presentation is definitely above average.In addition to sushi, they have some noodle dishes and poke bowls on the menu - including several veggie/vegan options.The interior decor is beautiful, including large sections of cherry blossoms throughout the restaurant - a reference to its name. You can sit at the bar and watch the sushi shef at work, or sit at one of the tables or booths. It's a great little place for a date night or a casual lunch/dinner. So, I placed an order for gyoza (6 small pork dumplings) and the Teryaki Chicken Bento Box which comes with a choice of soup or salad (Egg drop soup for me).The soup was lighter in color and maybe a bit thinner than other soups I've had elsewhere, but the flavor was full of egg (and a bit of salt). The gyoza was next and came with a dipping sauce. The plate was colorfully presented with shredded carrot ribbons in the pinwheel center. Nice balance of crispy outside and tender inside. Good flavor!The bento box contained a single, but large, crabmeat rangoon, a 4-pc California roll, about a cup of mixed rice, and a decent lunch sized portion of chicken and veggies prepared in a thin Teryaki sauce. The chicken was a little bit overcooked, but not enough to ruin the meal.
