"A group of about 10 of us met at Fujiyama to enjoy some very delicious Japanese fare and cocktails on a Thursday evening. Conveniently located just off of 465 and Emerson, this location is easy to access and offers complementary parking in its lot. Our group made seating arrangements in advance, so the staff was readily prepared for our arrival. Our orders were taken promptly, but dinner became a bit complicated as food was served at various times so that some people received their appetizers and dinners at the same time while others were left waiting with no food. Our waters and cocktails were also left empty for quite some time. They would have had a substantially higher tab from our table had the server returned to ask if we wanted more adult beverages as ours sat empty. With the bit of snafu in service, I do have to say that our appetizers, entrées, and cocktails were absolutely delicious. One can tell that the food is made with craft and care as fresh ingredients were concocted to be just lovely Japanese dishes. Their sake and cocktail collections are on point! We found it a little odd that they offer such an abundant alcohol selection, but the server was not able to tell us what house sake was available. (She just pointed at the bar from across the room.) Overall, I would give them another chance because the food and drinks were so tasty. Just be prepared for maybe not the most punctual service."
"Food was excellent. Very good service. Nice ambiance. A hidden gem. Be in the know and try it soon!"

"This restaurant has been around forever. When it opened, it was known for low prices, fresh food and a chocolate fountain surrounded with gargantuan strawberries, marshmallows along with other fruits to dip. While the huge fountain doesn't erupt from the restaurant's center at lunchtime (it maybe dinner only) there's still something for everyone. They have steak, spare ribs, sushi, dessert crepes made to order (limit 2 per person), a full salad bar, soups, pot roast, quesadillas and so much more."
"Hands-down, my favorite sushi spot! You cannot drink for quality all you can eat sushi! Not only does the all you menu come with sushi options, but it also comes with your appetizers and sides as well as dessert. The dessert options are vanilla ice cream or green tea ice cream. They use iPads for you to select what you want, and it automatically sends it back to the kitchen. They prepare the food very quickly and again you can order as much as you want, the only stipulation is, if there is more than seven pieces of sushi left and they charge you a dollar per piece so that people don't over order and waste."
"The service is fast and although the exterior of the restaurant looks old, the food is decent.Pics below Miso soupEdamame Crab RangoonSeaweed SaladSpicy GirlSpicy tuna rollSee on the beach rollSpecial of the day 8/5/23"
"A nice treat with BFF after a month of several loved ones passing. We shared the table with a family with two young boys and a young man and 2 woman from Lafayette celebrating the young man's birthday. The best thing about this type of dining is the great people you meet! The presenter/cook was very entertaining and engaging! The soup was tasty and the salad was fresh with the best dressing! The eggrolls were crunchy on the outside and packed with pork goodness on the inside!I ordered the steak and shrimp as my entrée. The portions were large enough to have plenty for lunch the next day. Great food and great service!"
"Every time we stop by Indianapolis visiting family, Tomo is a must stop by place per kids request at least twice in a 8 day trip !! Once again thank you Tomo for a wonderful dinner. Food is still the best and friendly staff . We enjoyed it so much !"
"I came to ocean world for lunch and they have so many delicious options as lunch specials. Our server was polite and attentive, asking if we wanted a refill on drinks as we were getting close to finish our cups. The decor was not my favorite but it was still a clean environment, with paper lined tables for easy cleanup. I ordered the Las Vegas roll and the sweet chili shrimp, both of which were delicious. I'll be back for lunch again soon!"
"Ordered delivery. Food was good quality and quantity. I got the scallop hibachi dinner and felt like I got a ton of scallops which is awesome. I also ordered the summer roll such I which was pretty good too. Everything was as advertised and I was very satisfied with my order. Will order from again."
"Friends of mine who are regulars here told me about Kasi, so I gave them a try. They promised me that the sushi was fresh and well prepared, so I ordered online and went and picked it up. They offer delivery but I just can't quite bring myself to order delivery sushi.I got there several minutes before my order was supposed to be ready, but they were just packing it up for me. I'm always a little nervous about traveling with soup too, but the miso was very well packaged along with the rest of my order.Sushi was delicious as was the miso and the salad. Super happy with how everything looked and tasted... the only issue was no soy sauce or wasabi. I've since ordered from them again and I simply add a note to include wasabi and soy sauce and I've not had a problem since."
"Ok I LOVE sushi so why is this my first time ever trying an all you can eat sushi restaurant? I have no idea but it was soo worth it! We went on Valentine's Day so it was busy but we got seated right away. Service was good for how busy it was! Everyone was kind of working together so it made it efficient. You can get appetizers and sushi rolls unlimited for $25/person. We got crab Rangoon, house salad, miso soup and all the sushi we wanted for a very reasonable price! I thought all of the rolls were very good and made fresh. You can watch them make it at the sushi bar and they were so fast! I really enjoyed this place and their drinks (wine/beer) were very reasonably priced as well!"
"Absolutely loved the experience! The building is off of Bash Rd. The food came out very quickly, and was delicious! Extremely affordable too! I loved the tempura rolls & the shrimp dumplings. I can't wait to go back again for more"

I love me some hibachi and fujiyama's has never did me wrong. That's my go-to happy place. Great service always and very attentive to my needs every time I dine in. I decided to sit on the restaurant/bar side over the hibachi grill side this time and I'm glad I did. The Lakers game was on for my viewing pleasure. I ordered the shogun special, steak was just right and chicken wad delicious. I got double fried rice and the soup and salad is always good. I love that dressing on the salad. Everything was good. I left with a full belly and ready to go to sleep. The decor is really nice there too. Very family friendly and handicap accessible for those with such needs. I dined in with family and everyone enjoyed themselves. I'll be back for sure, because it's one of my happy places to eat.

What an adorable restaurant. Met a girlfriend at Ichiban last evening for a Happy Birthday celebration. Now, I'm not gonna lie. It took me a hot minute to figure out where this place was as I cruised the parking lot. I musta passed it a few too many times. Yes, I did giggle at myself for my own goofiness driving back & forth. It's exactly between City Bargains & Discount Tire, on US 31. Technically in Indianapolis though many who are familiar with the area considers it Greenwood ;). Parking lot is little funky but if you stay patient enough, you'll figure it out. Decor is calming & very welcoming. Staff is attentive & helpful. Dining area very clean. If you're into adult refreshments, prices aren't as steep as their competitors nowadays. The greatest aspect of our happy birthday dinner extravaganza last night was that it happened to be a Monday. Snaps to our waitress who pointed it out to us. On Monday's this venue has a special on certain sushi. Please refer to pics. Was it good? Are residents of Indiana called Hoosiers? We very much enjoyed ourselves at Ichiban & planning another girls night out soon. Come see for yourself! Address: 8265 US 31 South, Indianapolis, IN 46227 (317) 883 - 1888 Stay well & safe everyone!

Came here recently at my brother's request for his birthday dinner; and I'm glad he chose Journey! I was impressed with the wide variety of foods--lots of sushi and pretty decent quality for buffet sushi. The crab rangoon... *chef's kiss* The potstickers... *chef's kiss* I look forward to going back! Xoxo, Is this thing on?

Watami had a four star rating from me, but after my last visit-unfortunately it went down. Not sure if I'll be back.So I've been wanting some of their sushi because the last time I came here, I was very surprised at how fresh everything was and how reasonably priced everything was. So I venture out to come back and if today was my first visit. Probably would havethe sushi today was just okay.

Do not be thrown off by the look of this building. Seriously park, go in, and do not panic. While the exterior and interior is rough, the food is not! We opted for the all you can eat option for $26.99 per person. This includes soup, salads, crab ragoon, speciality rolls, etc. food was delicious. Best place I have found on the west side. The inside was hot and stuffy, but food tasted fresh. Miso soup was incredible. Ginger dressing on the salad incredible. One working bathroom that looks like it hasn't been cleaned in a while, not so much. But I digress focus on the food. Initially we were the only ones in the restaurant. Surprised to have waited a while for drinks but about 20 mins in the place filled out and more wait staff came. Will definitely be back for the food, great variety and taste!

This is typically my go to spot for hibachi. Yesterday, not so much. They weren't busy at all but it took the server at least 8 minutes before she came over and took my drink order. The food was hot, but the taste was off. I was greeted when I walked in the door.

Absolutely love tomo. Extremely fast service, food is delicious and hits everytime. Our go to is the chicken hibachi that comes with soup and the house salad. My husband gets the combo hibachi dinner with steak and chicken. We've tried two sushi rolls: the volcano and the keystone roll. Both are delicious but I like the keystone better. It's low lighting and moody inside, the hibachi grills are also always entertaining and fun

This restaurant has been around forever and I'm glad I came back - it's been years! It's in a nondescript strip mall and tough to see off 86th street unless you're looking for it.The service is efficient and quick but you won't feel rushed. My favorite.Very well priced and plentiful. We came during lunch so got the lunch time special. For about $16 you CANNOT beat this deal- salad or miso soup, select from a good list of rolls (mine ended up about 10 pieces with lots of additional crab on top, 2 pieces of sashimi, and another side. I got the 3 gyoza and this lunch was huge. The ambience is warm and casual. Good for lunch dates, kids, time with friends! After writing this I think I need to go back soon!

"So so so good. Went on a whim with a friend. They said we'd have 5 minutes to order bcz they were going on a break in between lunch and dinner service and we said we'll make it work. So pleased they were willing to accommodate us. Everything was fantastic. Decor is so beautiful."
"We made a last-minute decision to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday at Hino Oishi. Even though we arrived right at the start of dinner time without a reservation, we were fortunate to be seated immediately. The waitress was fantastic, taking the time to explain the menu thoroughly and offering excellent recommendations for us as first-time visitors. For an appetizer, I ordered the Golden California sushi, which was absolutely mouthwatering and unlike anything I've tried before. For my main course, I chose the shrimp and steak hibachi. The chef did an outstanding job, especially with cooking my steak to a perfect medium. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that their dinner hibachi includes chicken fried rice. I also have to rave about their ginger salad--it's the best I've ever had--and their onion soup was equally delightful."
"I would give them a 3 but I didn't get hot pot. I got the all you can eat sushi. The ordering process was confusing it also took a long time to get the sushi. I ended up just getting it off the buffet. They were very busy I just think they need more people at the buffet. The guy at the buffet was doing noodles and sushi. Overall the prices are pretty reasonable they had a ton of toppings for hot pot. Half I didn't even know what they were."
"For book club we always choose a place to order in for dinner, and we are all sushi fans so the hostess suggested this location.I loved all the different options that we had, each roll was fresh and delicious! It also traveled very well, I want to visit this location so I can take in the full experience. Was impressed with this food! Can't wait to have it again"
"Fantastic sushi. Great price and very fresh. We try something different every time. Don't miss this great local spot! Bento boxes are very popular also."
"This place was delicious and also was such a good deal on sushi! The ginger salad and miso soup as an appetizer were delicious. My husband who usually hates salad dressings even loved the ginger dressing! It definitely seems homemade. You can get a lot of meal deals on sushi rolls, so it's cheap even for dinner! The service was great and the people were so friendly and attentive, refilling waters and bussing dishes!! I know there are a lot of sushi places in the area, but this is one of the best!"
"this restaurant serves the best Japanese food and drinks of all kinds. they fry and cook your dinner in front of you. You can feel the heat from the flame and smelll the food as they cooking it. I think cheaper than most all other steak resttaunts and service is fast."
"My family of four ate here on New Year's Eve. We had a 5:15 reservation & we were walking out of the restaurant at 6:10. It was a busy night for them, but they certainly had the the assembly line mentality in full effect. They were clearing our table off while we were still trying to finish our meals, so we took the hint and just left. Overall: The food was good quality & prepared well, but unfortunately the poor service makes this place a strong "do not recommend" from me."
"Service was friendly and attentive. Food was just okay. No other customers when we arrived at 5p, but quickly filled up. They have a large menu with a lot of variety. Something for everyone, including a kids menu."
"Love the atmosphere and vibe of the place, I always enjoy Taku's food, they have so many options! Service is alright, everyone is very nice and accommodating. The Mojitos are fantastic 10/10, Godzilla Roll 10/10 had so many different flavors! The Chicken Katsu 3.5/10 I wasn't so impressed with, like it's good but it's not almost $17 good lol I will say. Lots of other things I could say since I've been here many times but I would recommend Taku if you're just a curious person who likes to try new things or likes Japanese cuisines, I always try something different when I come here and almost always I love the dish they bring out."
"Always fresh and some unique rolls. Family favorite is the twister roll. As sushi goes, I feel like this is better than most. Great value for the price point. Not really a dine in place though."
"This has got to be one of my top hibachi places. Prices are great and portions are even better. We frequently get coupons in the mail which made us first check them out. I love their hibachi food itself and a fun bonus is they also have noodles as part of their meal. Salad, rice, veggies, and filet.... All delicious and making me want to come back here ASAP. staff has always been nice & never had to wait for a table on a week night. Cool atmosphere too. Will be back again soon!"
"We love sushi den! We've been here a couple times and I think we've been really early each time, so it wasn't busy at all. We loved all the rolls we've tried. I can't say I loved the yakisoba but it was still good. It's a cute place, with lots of plants."
"We happened upon this place when looking for a place to eat for dinner. It is located in the old Bob Evans near 465 and Franklin Rd on E. Washington St. All the old seating is still in place inside. We were sat right away, with only a few other tables occupied. Our server was very friendly and attentive. He was able to explain things on the menu and came to check on us several times. The menu is pretty extensive, with lots of options. The portions are large and everything tastes great. The best part is the BellaBot that brings your food out to you. It is a talking robot kitty! The only dissapointment was the fortune cookies. While they tasted great, the "fortunes" inside were more like proverbs, not fortunes. They have seated tables and also a sushi bar at the front. They serve chinese dishes, soups, appetizers, sushi, and desserts. We all had plenty of food to take home as leftovers. We will definitely be back!"
"It was definitely not too busy and reviews are mixed but we gave it a try. The sushi was good as was the miso soup. The bento box was great. Fresh food and all tasty. I would return."
"Great selection of foods. Fast paced and everything for a nice, quick meal. Came here for Sunday brunch with family and the foods were very tasty and freshly made. Service was good. Our sever was attentive and kept our drinks refilled. Not a bad price for the foods you get. Sushi and grill are included in buffet price. Can order carry out if preferred"
"The sushi is absolutely delicious at Takumi Sushi Hibachi. This little locally operated Japanese diner is located in a newer strip mall in Whitestown. (Takumi means artisan in Japanese.)You order at the counter then find a seat. The menu has an extensive selection of rolls. They also offer hibachi meals and bento boxes. They carry mostly Pepsi beverages with a few miscellaneous drinks such as Red Bull and sparkling water. There is no alcohol. For lunch, they feature sushi roll with miso soup combination. The freshly made rolls come out fairly quickly. The miso soup comes out hot and delicious. The sushi is presented beautifully, served with wasabi and pickled ginger. The Fire Cracker roll is spicy hot and delicious, my favorite of the Classic rolls. The cream cheese soothes the heat from the jalapeños perfectly. The breading is delicious on the roll. The Spicy Shrimp roll is also delicious with a perfect amount of spicy heat. The Shrimp Asparagus roll is a wonderful combination of fresh and tasty....a favorite. They have seven tables to dine-in but most people order delivery."
"Stopped by here with some friends for my birthday and it was awesome, we split everything, to make it a fun eating experience! We had crab Rangoon, oysters, and Wasabi potstickers to start, then we split a large boat of sushi, a small salad of different pickled items, as well as some refreshing white wine, all around great service, and a nice time! Can't wait to go back!"
"Our family has been getting our Sushi from this wonderful restaurant since friends of our introduced it to us 4 years ago. The staff here is so friendly and they get to know their customers. We get take away but my wife is greeted everytime as they know who it is when we place our order. I was never a big fish fan until I tried their rolls - now the Rainbow roll is a favorite. I always expect a restaurant to have the occasional bad night but the guys hit it out of the park each and everytime. If you haven't tried them, give them a try - you won't regret it. Ours tonight was delicious"
"This is our go to spot for fantastic sushi in Franklin. We always get the pick three for $13. You also get soup or salad. (I usually get both as it's only another $2) Very tasty and delicious sides. Great crab Rangoon and harumaki. We have also had the hibachi and it was very flavorful. Favorite three picks are the eel roll, California roll and the shrimp tempura roll. We have had others, but these are my favorites!!"
"While Hanami is not technically fully open, they had a soft opening earlier this week.I stopped by to pick up some takeout for lunch today - I got a fried calamari appetizer and a sushi roll (Sakura). The server was very pleasant, and my order was ready in about 15 minutes. The calamari dish is outstanding, the sushi roll's presentation is definitely above average. In addition to sushi, they have some noodle dishes and poke bowls on the menu - including several veggie/vegan options. The interior decor is beautiful, including large sections of cherry blossoms throughout the restaurant - a reference to its name. You can sit at the bar and watch the sushi shef at work, or sit at one of the tables or booths. It's a great little place for a date night or a casual lunch/dinner. I chatted a bit with the owner, she mentioned that they are also working on outdoor seating options."
"Right off Allisonville and 116th, Okaya is a great local spot for sushi and more!We are always greeted with a smile and warm welcome. When we bring our toddler, they are nothing but sweet to her and take interest in her jabber. So kind! Every waiter or waitress we have is nice and accommodating. The restaurant is incredibly clean and inviting. The food is fresh and has such good flavor. The sushi is impeccably made! The best I have had in the area!I also love their egg rolls and almost always get them as an appetizer. I agree with another reviewer that there is absolutely no smoke smell, even tho the restaurant is nestled between two smoke shops. I've been at this establishment a handful of times and have never experienced any smoky odor.FYI: They do not prepare hibachi in front of you. It is all cooked in the kitchen. Don't let that deter you; the food is great!"
"Good food, good prices, pleasant service, dated setting. While dining here, I noticed most of the lunch crowd got their food to go. But since I had been in my car most of the day, I wanted to get out. So, I placed an order for gyoza (6 small pork dumplings) and the Teryaki Chicken Bento Box which comes with a choice of soup or salad (Egg drop soup for me).The soup was lighter in color and maybe a bit thinner than other soups I've had elsewhere, but the flavor was full of egg (and a bit of salt). The gyoza was next and came with a dipping sauce. The plate was colorfully presented with shredded carrot ribbons in the pinwheel center. Nice balance of crispy outside and tender inside. Good flavor! The bento box contained a single, but large, crabmeat rangoon, a 4-pc California roll, about a cup of mixed rice, and a decent lunch sized portion of chicken and veggies prepared in a thin Teryaki sauce. The chicken was a little bit overcooked, but not enough to ruin the meal. The veggies were also thoroughly cooked beyond al dente. The service was efficient and got my food out and check processed so that all too soon, I was back on the road.Review #2246"
