"I love love love Howdy Ice Cream! Every time I go to Needlers, I always stop in for a sweet treat after. They offer so many innovative flavors, but my favorite is the cold brew and cookies! It might be my favorite ice cream flavor of all time actually. I love their mission of championing inclusivity by creating jobs for people with disabilities. The employees that work there are always incredibly kind and willing to chit chat if you want. Highly recommend this place for a good scoop of ice cream and friendly folks."
"Was trying to find a spot for me to take my lunch and ran across this gem. Found a spot to park and walked. Omg!!! From the moment I stepped foot onto the patio area, I was in awe of how nice it looks. It instantly put me in the mind of somewhere warm like Arizona. From the greenery adorning the fence to the green turf to the lights to the outdoor patio sets, it's very soothing and relaxing. I couldn't wait to get back outside to sit and bask in the aesthetics of this ice cream shop. Now let's make our way inside. I don't know where to begin. All I'm going to says is, you must see and experience for yourself!!! Whoever designed the layout knows what they are doing. I could hardly make my way to the counter for trying to see all the cute pieces of furniture, neon light signs, greenery, etc. So I made my way to the counter and was overcome by the selections of ice cream. How do you choose just one or two? I walked both counters and seen they had Horchata. I asked to sample and it was just how I imagined. I struggled with just the ice cream or if I wanted a shake. The young lady at the counter was very helpful with me trying to decide. I opted for an Horchata with strawberries. I will definitely be back! I had no idea they had been open for about a year or so and honestly, didn't know they existed. This is the perfect spot for the family after dinner or before. Also, a cute spot for date day/night. Overall, it's good for whatever you want it to be. You can never go wrong with ice cream!!!"
An Indiana classic, featuring a ridiculous loin-to-bun ratio. Topped with tomato, red onions, and lettuce. Ask for it Mug Style and spice it up with pickled jalapeos and shredded cabbage for just $1.00 extra.

"Great home town place to eat, I personally wasn't the biggest fan of the ice cream. The food was defiantly worth going back for sometime."
"The dessert here are delicious we had coffee ice cream and chocolate ice cream, also some esquites those were ok. I had a chicharon preparado now that was delicious would go back to try other Mexican antojitos."
"Great 'new' spot in Robinson! It's not really new because there used to be a Hollywood bar here but much improved and completely new theme. Marilyn Monroe theme! The inside has been completely renovated and there's a nice upstairs and separate pool room. I tried the black bean burger with fries and it was good. My girlfriends had the classic burger loaded with onion rings and enjoyed them. The prices are reasonable and there's plenty of parking. The service was good, even though we were definitely there on one of their busiest nights of the year during the harvest fest. I hope the new owners have fun and keep up the good momentum. Nice cocktails"
"Such a small, hole in the wall place but absolutely delicious food!! The best burgers, fries and shakes!! The staff is straight and to the point. I appreciate that. Come check this place out!"
"I got the Heath Razzle and my boyfriend got the cherry shake. We loved them so much we traded on and off . We got smalls and they were the perfect amount. Not too skimpy either and not so much you feel sick. I definitely could have saved half of it in the freezer but it was too good to save. Service was okay, the ladies were nice. Only complaint is that my boyfriend wanted a banana shake and they were out of that flavor. But it was also the first super nice day this year and they were packed so I can understand not being totally prepared."
"Don't overthink it and simply enjoy this absolute throwback drive-in style experience. Spanish (chili) dogs, fries, rings, mushrooms is the ticket here (do not skip the delicious root beer). This place always seems busy and filled up with cars and somehow there are only a couple of carhops to efficiently take care of the 30+ spots they can accommodate. When I stopped by, there was an older man and woman (probably 80) in a $100K+ Vette next to me enjoying their diner experience and absolutely BLASTING Roy Orbison and others 60s music with the windows down. Love to see it.I would imagine in the heyday of Anderson of the mid 60-70s, this place was packed with high schoolers and muscle cars on a Friday or Saturday night.Stopped by a few days later for dogs and rings to go (and wife approved).Certainly on the repeat list for me."
"Millie's went from food truck to sharing a space with Field to Fork in downtown Franklin. Not only do they have ice cream, but they also sell their popular pancake poppers in the store too. I got the Tacone, which is a taco shaped waffle cone filled with soft serve and topped with cookie dough pieces, caramel and hot fudge. It was so good! I also got strawberry flavoring added and it was a really nice after dinner treat. They are open a little later than some other places in Franklin so that's nice and it also looks like there's space inside if you want to have a private party. Seating is a little limited but there are a few spots up near the front entrance."
"Two words for Scoopz Ice Cream - Absolutely delightful! I was worried that Scoops wouldn't be open when I would be done with my haircut but thankfully they were open til 8pm so I had time to stop by. They had a good variety of ice cream flavors and a few vegan sorbet offerings as well. Tastings were offered but even so it was hard to pick between the options. We ordered two sets of double scoops with different flavors, each with a bright citrusy flavor - LemOreo and Key Lime Pie, and a supportive base of Strawberry and Graham Slam. Everything worked so well together. We'll definitely be back again to try another set!"
"I love this seasonal gem located off I-70 in Veedersburg, near Turkey Run State Park and Shades State Park. Susie Q's serves up fresh burgers, dogs, chicken sandwiches, all sorts of sides, and an assortment of ice cream treats.Whether you are driving through, or spending the day at one of the State parks, Susie Q's is a must visit."
"Why not get ice cream after you finish your salsa class next door? Latino- Family owned business, sweet couple, cute colorful aesthetic, and robust flavors, count me in! The cheesecake ice cream tastes exactly like a Cheesecake Factory strawberry cheesecake. My friend got coffee and I was shocked at the boldness of the espresso. They also serve tacos, fresh fruit water, and raspados! Definitely get this place a try on your next stop off Post Road on 465."

if you happen to be grabbing anything at Needlers or near/on Mass Ave for that matter, grab some delicious HOMEMADE ice cream from Howdys! from the staff to the armosphere, the windows make for a great view while you enjoy your yummy frozen treat!

I have driven by this 100 times and I had no idea that it was a Mexican dessert shop! I love sweet and savory treats so I had to stop on. This place is adorable!! Sure instagram worthy with lots of places to take photos and hangout for a bit. I got a mangonada and saw that there is so much stuff on the menu!! Lots of goodies for me to try at a future date. I'll definitely be back

The Tasty Freeze is a wonderful little hometown stop. They serve just about every kind of ice cream creation you could imagine. Our favorites are the flurries, which are like DQ's Blizzards. In addition to their great ice cream, they also serve lunch/dinner - chicken, sandwiches, fries, onion rings, tenderloin, etc.Their motto - "not fast, just fresh" - can be true especially during summer/baseball season but it's worth the wait. Portion sizes are excellent - you definitely get your money's worth. Order at the counter and then use the outdoor seating or you can take it to go. They also have a drive-thru for those rolling through or on their way home.

Cute little spot on the east side of Indianapolis, Delicious Tricolor follows the tradition of Mexican treats next door to a fabulous Mexican restaurant. Here customers can find ice cream and fruit and ice treats all native to mexico. If you are hungry they even sell some food though their kitchen is small. I picked up a really tasty mexican corn on the cob and some fried tacos that was bountifully topped. For a dessert I decided to take a walk on the wild side and try a spicy mango ice cream with fresh mangos and spicy sauce. It was good...different but good! This is definitely a cute little spot to visit if you have a hankering for a quick snack or some sweet treats!

We decided to give them a try on a weekend day, they were very busy with orders. The staff seemed friendly and helpful. I didn't catch anyone's name but they kept me updated on my order. We ordered the Philly cheesesteak sandwich with fries and an order of cheesesteak eggrolls. The food was good and hot. Prices seemed reasonable. The interior is nice, hopefully they can put their own vibe in there

I have no clue what the other reviewer is saying. My wife and I have traveled all over the U.S. and abroad taking in excellent ice cream shops of high magnitude. Sophie's is an easy, typical, no-thrill ice cream stand that has decent selections and incredibly cheap prices. The best around for Gas City and Marion! Highly recommended this pretentious free delight!

Amazing slaw dogs and mushrooms. They seem like they are hand breaded! Instead of those big hard balls! They are also SUPER FAST AND FRIENDLY! AND LASTLY, the root beer and ice cream is amazing!

"Always great food whenever we go here, ever since they reopened. Desserts are generous and delicious, and the food is well-prepared with quality ingredients. A gem in Olney!"
"EXCELLENT! I wish this wasn't so hidden or I think it would have more business. The ice cream was phenomenal. It was so creamy and good. The atmosphere was cute and they had games on every table. The ice cream had the ingredients crushed up into it. So good! There was no texture in the ice cream. Just taste. The texture was only on top. I would highly recommend the butter pecan ice cream. I don't like chocolate but we also had someone get the Oreo and they loved it as well. The people working were very helpful !"
"Food was great and lots of it! We received our food quickly! Saw this restaurant on a Visit Indiana site! Felt like a down home restaurant or a local favorite place! Not many people there when we got there (about 10 minutes after they opened) but was packed when we left!"
"I can tell that they're trying their darndest to make the best out of a chaotic situation. This Shake Shake is located in the food court of the Keystone Fashion Mall, so a) you know it's going to be busy because it's in a mall, and b) this is one of the only three Shake Shacks in central Indiana. Yes, it's very busy all the time. But they are also working very hard to get the orders out quickly, and they actually have a line set up with someone attending it to manage all the chaos. And there are touch screens where you can order, as well as the option to order from a person at the register, so once you get in line, it isn't as horrible as you think it will be (or as horrible as I thought it would be). Considering how many people were there ordering and dining in and whatnot, it probably only took me 15 minutes from the time I got in line until I got my to-go order. This time, I got the chicken sandwich, which is great. It was assembled a little slap-dash, but that didn't bother me too much. It still tasted great. The crinkle fries are always good. The restaurant is accessible from the mall proper. If you try to go in from their street entrance, you'll find out that you can't. The street entrance is where you can pick up online orders, apparently."
"This restaurant is now operating as Tina's Bar-B-Q. The building is confusing, the Snack Shack, Main Street Diner, & Tina's signs are all displayed."
"Charbetts is the best place in town! The owners have spruced up the place and it's so cute. All the food is amazing, but try a burger or the hot tots. Then finish off with homemade ice cream. Ask about the flavor of the month"
"This heat wave has had both me and the pup looking for creative ways to cool off. When I saw Paradise as a new location with a lot of options pop up on my Yelp, we hopped in the car. First, it's located in a common shopping area with ample parking and even two benches outside the shop. My pup and I enjoyed our shaved ice there. However, it would be great if they had some tables outside, too!Next, while I didn't grab a pic there was a pretty good amount of seating inside the shop and even some very small kid-sized picnic tables.I got a medium pina colada and a small no flavor shaved ice for the pup. Mine was tasty, but as a pro-tip: I'd request a bit more flavor in mine so it's not just ice on top. I know they were probably erring on the side of caution as some folks may not like too much flavor, but this could also be an ask, much like boba shops do with sweetness, 'would you like light, medium, or heavy flavor?'In addition to my medium pina colada shaved ice, I got the dole whip mango to go for later. It was super tasty, BUT they didn't have any lids that fit so it was a little weird getting it home. I know they just opened so perhaps they're waiting on these, but for any of their options I'd say a request would be to have to-go options (especially for kids.) Finally, they didn't have any punch cards for loyalty as they'd run out. The associate said I could come back, however, so I plan to. It would've been great if they'd had a digital method versus a physical card (easier and more eco friendly, also.) But it was tasty and we'll certainly be back!"
"This restaurant and farm is the perfect spot for a brunch chat, bridal shower, birthday, etc. as it's pretty large and there are lots of spaces for big groups. The food is pretty good because it's locally sourced but some of the items leave something to be desired. I do really enjoy it though. I haven't had any of the cocktails but hear the Bloody Mary is delicious. The ice cream is great as well. There is a little shop selling some items used in the restaurant which is really nice. The service is always great and the servers want to make sure you have a good experience."
"My favorite childhood ice cream place. Love how it's out in the country and seasonal (it makes it more special). Sad they got rid of flavor burst ice cream but their glaciers are really good! My favorite is the brownie sundae. Fun play area for kids and it's always so lively in the summer. If you get food, be prepared to wait a while since they make it fresh."
"Extensive menu and fast service. Dining room is not crowded as this is a newer business and not well known."
"I love stopping at this little spot when coming through Green Castle, often after a hike or outdoor adventure. They have hand-dipped ice cream and soft serve along with all your usual dinner food like hotdogs, burgers, fries, etc. It's all reasonably priced. The hand dipped ice cream servings are hearty- the small looked like a M or L to me! They have limited seating inside and a handful of tables and booths outside. This is a cute small town, no-frills spot!"
"There is a special place in my heart for good custard. I grew up in wisconsin where custard is king and Old Custard Stand gives me that taste of home. They have a flavor of the day that I follow religiously. Dreamsicile is a personal favorite, but their custard is top notch and reminds me of wisconsin."
"Amazingly creamy and delicious flavors... we all gave the cornbread ice cream a try and it was surprisingly delicious. I was a little sad I couldn't try the black licorice, maybe next time. I had the butter pecan and to my delight, was actually buttery. Friendly service and plenty of place to sit inside for our little group."
"Rustic River Outfitters is located on the 3-acre property that was formerly the old saw mill in Mt. Etna. They've transformed the structures, while still keeping a rustic feel and they've done a great job. Here's what they offer:Kayak and Canoe Rentals: They've mapped out and provide maps for paddles varying from 2 to 6.5 hours. The shuttle service makes the logistics of spending time on the water easy.Ice Cream Parlor: This section is small but offers some of the best ice cream I've been served in Indiana. Our most recent visit we enjoyed Kentucky Praline Pecan, Florida Orange Sherbet and Strawberry Cheesecake varieties. They rotate flavors but have enough variety I've always found something tempting.Wine Room and Craft Beer: The tasting room is beautiful but we honestly haven't tried this yet. At the moment the only food they have daily to go with the drinks is nachos. However, they have been offering food with live music as outlined on their Facebook page and website.Event Space: The back portion of the property has been made into an event space with tables under cover in another out-building. My mom's high school reunion is scheduled to take place here."
"Updated Review - Sadly, my second visit to Origin Coffee and Cream was even more underwhelming than the first. In search of a delicious, elevated coffee experience on my way to work, I decided to give them another try. Unfortunately, the Pumpkin Spice Latte I ordered fell short in flavor, leaving me craving something more robust and enjoyable. To make matters worse, the service was lacking, leaving me feeling disappointed and unappreciated as a customer. I'll be sticking to gas station coffee from now on--at least their service is always top-notch, even if the coffee may not be perfect. Origin Coffee and Cream, I'm afraid you've lost a potential customer."
"We all scream for TeeJay's!! Plenty of choices to choose from! Friendly service! And uniquely delicious ways to enjoy your ice cream! Went here for birthday desert and was not disappointed! I cannot believe how fresh and tasty the ice cream was! The mouth feel and the flavors are just to scream for! Please do your tastebuds a favor and swing by you won't let them down! The interior is simple and the vibes it gives off are just right!"
"Truly my favorite ice cream in Indy. I'm someone who can't have much sugar or dairy and... even I can't resist LICK ice cream. First of all, it's made with all organic dairy and every flavor is made from scratch. You're getting real, high-quality ingredients here. They also always have a vegan option that is surprisingly creamy for not having dairy. Score!I'll never forget the first flavor I ever tried here: mint chocolate chip. I couldn't believe how much better it was than any I've ever had. I didn't know that such a traditional flavor could taste so above and beyond what I was used to. Over time, I've branched out and tried their unique flavor combinations, with my new favorite being the brown butter cookie dough. They also have a hot cocoa ice cream float -- the perfect winter ice cream treat.Other flavors I need to try: + Gingersnap lemon curd+ Rosewater pistachio brittle + Champagne and berries+ Gorgonzola candied pecan (one of their most popular flavors!)+ Cedar and whiskey with local West Fork Whiskey + Vegan chocolate marshmallowI mean... is your mouth watering now?! Owner Meredith crushes it and you're going to absolutely love every flavor you try. They used to be located in the CCIC building downtown and make ice cream for local restaurants. Now, they have a location in The Garage Food Hall off of Mass Ave and just opened up in this cute little blue house on 54th and The Monon. They have a single free parking spot out front and two or three free parking spots off to the right side of the building. There are two small bar stools inside, but this spot is mostly for takeout, which is great because you can enjoy your ice cream while on a nice stroll down The Monon. They also have pints and half pints to take home!"
"One of my favorite ice cream shops! Creamy ice cream and so many flavors! They even have light food options. The service is great!"
"Absolutely love their hot Cheetos corn in a cup! It's the best!!!! Very unique options available! Definitely have to stop by if you haven't yet!"
"Love, love love this place!! Best soft mild tacos EVER!!! Best milkshakes! Best tenderloins! So much more to mention! Love that they are open year round now & that they have a drive thru! It's not the fastest but the wait is very worth it! If you are in the area make sure you stop by and get some great food!!!"
"The food and service were great, everyone enjoyed their food. Definitely a Frankfort favorite for us!"
"Great coffee and pastries. Friendly staff and cute atmosphere! It is back away from town with a pond that is cute to sit and drink coffee by."
"Everything is fresh and made to order. We had doughnuts and ice cream and were not disappointed. Could be cleaner in the seating area."
