I first tried a "Not So Hot Chocolate" pop at an event years ago and went to find the store the very next day. I was hooked! I also love their fruit flavored pops - blackberry lemonade, key lime, and mango ginger. I love that they have vegan options for those that are dairy free or vegan. One thing to note- the shop is a grab and go, walk up counter style where it's best suited to get a treat for a walk on the monon or sit on one of the benches outside. Recently they added a little tray that stays at the bottom of the popsicle to catch drips - a brilliant addition! Thank you!"

"A disappointing visit after reading so many great reviews. In hindsight, I should have filtered by date.I waited a while at my car after flipping the button on the menu board. The young woman who came out told me she only came out because they weren't busy. I told her it wasn't an issue and I was fine ordering inside. Maybe this was obvious to everyone else but if the in-car ordering wasn't available they should remove it from the menu board. It seemed odd to have customers walk in to order then have food carried out to my car, which is what happened. The patio seating is enclosed so there is seating "indoors". I think that would've been a better option.I was excited about their sourcing from Tyner Pond but don't think they do this anymore. The fries definitely did not match any description I read and I definitely was not expecting a small bag of crinkle cut fries. These are not worth ordering for $3.I ordered a double burger but a single would've been fine-it was quite large. It was good, but I wish the onion was sliced thinner- it made the whole thing difficult to hold and was just a lot of onion. The root beer is Sprecher's on tap. Overall a disappointment. My daughter loves the ice cream of pineapple whip choices and my son's go to are the doughnuts.This visit, we tried their new item: doughnachos, their small 6 or 12 pack of doughnuts covered in flavorful toppings and the option to add on a scoop of ice cream to really secure that sugar rush! I've worked in hospitality since I was a kid and always live the 15:5. Make eye contact within 15 feet of the guest and greet within 5. Even if just to say "hello, we'll be with you in a moment."That being said, the server was lovely. The food was decent and I loved that there was a deck of uno cards at the table. We played a game just before food arrived. Options for anyone with dietary restrictions are lacking, would love to see more available!"

"Homemade is part bakery that makes fabulous pies, cakes and other baked goods. They also make wonderful soups and sandwiches. My experience has been different depending on the day of the week that I go. My first visit, on a Sunday, they were crazy crowded, there was a long line to order and it was hard to find a table. So, I came back a during the week and the restaurant was peaceful, the clerks were happy and eager to wait on us. They checked on us and made sure we had everything we needed. I tried the soup/sandwich combo. My food came out quickly and there was even a surprise on my plate. I had the Lobster Bisque soup which was velvety fabulous. The French Dip had fresh chewy bread and moist roast beef and the au jus was perfect. They also included a sweet croissant that was an unexpected treat. Oh man , what a great lunch. Their ice cream is very good but the pie is out of this world. I highly recommend the rhubarb, which is definitely made with fresh rhubarb. It's a perfect blend of tart and sweet with crystallized sugar on top. The dining room is comfortable with a mix of booths and tables. Their covered patio overlooks a small pond and has additional seating. For the best experience, go during the week. The pies and cakes were all fresh on my Tuesday visit. And the mid-week staff is phenomenal. They do a robust carry out business and you can buy cakes to go. They do have a kids menu. I'm giving the week day crew 5 stars."

All I'm going to says is, you must see and experience for yourself!!! Whoever designed the layout knows what they are doing. I could hardly make my way to the counter for trying to see all the cute pieces of furniture, neon light signs, greenery, etc. So I made my way to the counter and was overcome by the selections of ice cream. How do you choose just one or two? I walked both counters and seen they had Horchata. I asked to sample and it was just how I imagined. I struggled with just the ice cream or if I wanted a shake. The young lady at the counter was very helpful with me trying to decide. I opted for an Horchata with strawberries. I will definitely be back! I had no idea they had been open for about a year or so and honestly, didn't know they existed. This is the perfect spot for the family after dinner or before. Also, a cute spot for date day/night. Overall, it's good for whatever you want it to be. You can never go wrong with ice cream!!!"

"Traveled to Indianapolis for work and was STARVING afterwards. Unfortunately Louisville doesn't have a Shake Shack so I knew I had to get it because their milkshakes and burgers are *Chef's Kiss*. Parking is limited to the street or a garage and it sits on a corner right after a traffic light. When you enter, a few kiosks are available for you to order. It was easy to navigate and personalize your order and there was plenty of places to sit. My food came out hot and fresh! I had my favorite strawberry milkshake, single shack burger, and fries. It did not disappoint! I almost wanted to order another burger. My 6 y/o son was also with me and it was his first time having Shake Shack. He loved it so much that he said he wanted to come back for his birthday. The staff were friendly and welcoming. I even had a nice convo with another customer that was very pleasant. Overall, Shake Shack is still one of my favorite places and I recommend this location."

Some ice cream joints in the Midwest close during the colder months, but this one doesn't. Good! I believe that ice cream should be an all-seasons treat for those that partake, if you ask me. (And I know you didn't ask me, but I'm telling you.)Scoop Shack is women-owned and locally owned, and they support the community by offering their space to small businesses and vendors to sell their goods. The ice cream is also made with local ingredients. Best of all: The ice cream is delicious! We got a flight of ice cream -- six different mini scoops of any of their 24 flavors. Each one was great in its own way, but we really loved the double chocolate and Lemoreo. You'll also find things like ice cream nachos, made with waffle cone "chips" and toppings. Other popular items include their ice cream tacos, cookie and waffle sandwiches, cake bites, drumsticks and lots more. The service was super friendly, and I love that they offer special events, like family bingo hours, trivia night, and paint-your-pet parties. This is a fun and cozy place to hang out, eat great ice cream, and have fun."

I call a few days before the party not sure really how to request the specific cake I wanted. The sweet person who answered the phone laughed with me as I was working through my request. I got a follow up call from the baker who was just as nice and talked with me about what I wanted. I've had things from their bakery before and it was always amazing. I just want to say this cake was the most delicious I've ever had. The cake itself was so moist you didn't need a drink to just get it down, icing was flavorful and not overpoweringly sweet. I think a normal sized order would've been about 25% more than the usual.My goodness it was delicious.It never tasted like frozen cardboard like I associate with most pizza joints. Best of all: I didn't feel sick after eating it. They never left out any sauces. Our order was always correct, cooked perfectly, and ready promptly. I can't say enough good things. It was really fantastic.My entire reason for wanting to re-visit Batesville is to go to Ison's. We were in town to visit friends."

The flavors were amazing, I could have had 8 flavors in one cup instead of 4 different flavors I couldn't decide. I will have to go back to try more flavors. The owner and son was so nice, and they have a game room in one of the rooms. There is seating area to sit down and eat in the store."

"I can tell that they're trying their darndest to make the best out of a chaotic situation. This Shake Shake is located in the food court of the Keystone Fashion Mall, so a) you know it's going to be busy because it's in a mall, and b) this is one of the only three Shake Shacks in central Indiana. Yes, it's very busy all the time. But they are also working very hard to get the orders out quickly, and they actually have a line set up with someone attending it to manage all the chaos. And there are touch screens where you can order, as well as the option to order from a person at the register, so once you get in line, it isn't as horrible as you think it will be (or as horrible as I thought it would be). Considering how many people were there ordering and dining in and whatnot, it probably only took me 15 minutes from the time I got in line until I got my to-go order. This time, I got the chicken sandwich, which is great. It was assembled a little slap-dash, but that didn't bother me too much. It still tasted great. The crinkle fries are always good.The restaurant is accessible from the mall proper. If you try to go in from their street entrance, you'll find out that you can't. The street entrance is where you can pick up online orders, apparently."
