"First time here at this strip mall pizza place and it was amazing! Came in and there was nobody in the building except for the workers. It was a very basic, unassuming interior with some tables and not much else on the walls. We almost walked away because the place seemed dead. We decided to stay and opted for the medium size pizza for 2 people. They let us split the pizza in half to try 2 different flavors--chicken tikka and beef kabob. As we waited, the crowd inside grew and grew. People were coming in and out for take out and more people were ordered for dine in. By the time our pizza came, the place was packed with such a diverse mix of people--very representative of the neighborhood. The pizza itself was fantastic. Both the chicken tikka and the beef kabob were delicious. The beef was our favorite and each bite of beef was packed with flavor. Even the crust was perfectly crispy and tasty. Easily my favorite pizza place in the city!"
"Ordered me a poboy to go and had to pull over cause I couldn't stop eating once I started! lol I thought one fry would hold me til I got home, but the meal didn't make it with me."
"I pass by Nick's Chili Parlor daily, I would always say I'm going to stop by which I never did until Thursday evening September 12th. It was a nice evening that Thursday, Nick's Chili Parlor is staple to Indianapolis Westside that has been in the area for 50yrs now. I went inside the staff greeted me, the ambiance of the place bright lights, bright yellow and red colors, and in the front you'll noticed the hot dog & chili area. The menus are above the hot dog & chili station, the prices of food at the restaurant are very reasonable, and Nick's Chili Parlor even have daily specials on certain foods items. I ended up ordering two cheese hot dogs with ketchup on it along with a fountain drink. Then, I watched the worker at the hot dog station put the shredded cheese on the hot dogs which I assumed wouldn't melt at all. I made it home to eat the cheese dogs, it was still fresh & hot when I was home. The cheese hot dogs were beef dogs, very juicy, and delicious. I will definitely go back to try more food items especially their popular chili."
"I'm a local and have eaten Jack's gyros countless times over the years. We have come to love Jack; if you have time and don't have a line of cars behind you, take a minute and get to know him. The gyros are consistently delicious. The gyros platter is also a nice option if you're trying to eat on the lighter side, or want to avoid a lot of gluten in the pita."
"I have driven past Richie's Chicken & Soul literally hundreds of times. NEVER again will I just drive by! Today, I was in the mood for some good fried chicken but wanted to find a place that would deliver to me without charging me double for delivery. I had heard good things about Richie's over the past 3 years living on the West Side of Cincinnati so I figured I would check to see if they would deliver. And they did!!The chicken was fried crisp, nice crunchy coating and the spicy was indeed spicy and very flavorful! The spice was infused throughout the chicken breast as well so you weren't left with bland chicken after the breading was gone. I will definitely stop in next time I drive by and it is nice to know there is a delivery option as well!"
"Traveled to Indianapolis for work and was STARVING afterwards. Unfortunately Louisville doesn't have a Shake Shack so I knew I had to get it because their milkshakes and burgers are *Chef's Kiss*. Parking is limited to the street or a garage and it sits on a corner right after a traffic light. When you enter, a few kiosks are available for you to order. It was easy to navigate and personalize your order and there was plenty of places to sit. My food came out hot and fresh! I had my favorite strawberry milkshake, single shack burger, and fries. It did not disappoint! I almost wanted to order another burger. My 6 y/o son was also with me and it was his first time having Shake Shack. He loved it so much that he said he wanted to come back for his birthday. The staff were friendly and welcoming. I even had a nice convo with another customer that was very pleasant. Overall, Shake Shack is still one of my favorite places and I recommend this location."
"During Covid we have gotten takeout from here twice and it doesn't disappoint. This last order I got the veggie fajitas and I felt I was eating right there in the restaurant. Peppers onions broccoli and mushrooms with guacamole salad. Perfection. We need to continue to support restaurants during this time"
"This place is just about the burger. There is no dine in. You order through glass, similar to a toll booth. Defiantly not Michelin star, but a great burger and fries. The guy in front of me got the "Big Hoss" a sausage sandwich. That looked really good. Next time I will get that."
"Favorite local Asian takeout! Portions are large, meals are always fresh, and the egg rolls are the largest and best ever! My favorites are the steamed dish options so the sauce comes on the side."
"We decided to check out the newly opened spot in Avon despite the long line of cars in drive-thru - we dined in! Lol Anyhow, it was still busy but at least we were able to place our order and get it within a reasonable amount of time. Their menu is simple - chicken tenders and a chicken sandwich. My partner ordered the kids meal with 2 pieces of chicken tenders a d I got the one with 3 pieces of chicken tenders, toast and fries. It was very good - we basically ate everything! We think it's the sauce!!The place was clean and fun inside - casual. Not a bad fast food place. We like it better than Zaxby's. Check them out!"
"I stopped by Culver's to grab a salad, but after seeing the flavor of the day, I had to snag a scoop of that as well. The salad was fresh, but nothing over the top. The custard was amazing as usual. Service at this location was somewhat slow this particular day, but typically it goes pretty fast. Out the restaurant was clean. Please note, there are tables outside if you choose to enjoy your food with fresh air!"
"I haven't had Cane's in a while. Is their chicken tenders shrunk in size. Looks like a chicken fingers for sure if a chicken has any finger. Restaurant is clean inside out, service is good and fast but disappointed at the portion size."

Passing through town on a road trip, we stopped to grab a bite at a local spot. This place hit the spot! Delicious pizza, good service, and friendly staff.

I can't stop grabbing the Grub House for a weekend breakfast. The pancakes are seriously the best. I love being able to get smoked sausage as a breakfast meat. Not pictured here are also the fried onions and potatoes which are SO good. For like $15 this is really a steal.

One of my favorite places to eat in the city, it opened in 1974 and I've been eating there for well over 45 years. They have great chili(one of my must haves when I order) that you can have as a 4way or 5way (with or without pasta), Another must have for me is there chili dogs regular size or foot long. They also have many other great items along with deserts. They always have great friendly service and a nostalgic vibe that takes me back to my childhood. If your a chili lover this is definitely a must try!

I love talking to Jack. He always gives our pup a snack as well. The gyros are great. I had the chicken gyro for the first time and loved it.

Best fried chicken in Cincinnati in my opinion. The potato planks are huge and delicious. The greens are just right. The fried okra is outstanding. The yellow, sweet cornbread is tasty, but cut a little too small for me. I haven't tried all their sides, but the ones I have tried are a bit too sweet for my taste. Also haven't had their fish yet. Richies has pretty much dominated our fried chicken purchases this past year. Love it!

I went with a friend to Shake Shack for lunch since it was walking distance from work. We arrived around 11:15 and it wasn't busy at all. It was very clean, had multiple TVs and plenty of seating. I had the Shroom Burger with Fries and my friend ordered the Bourbon Bacon Cheddar Burger with Fries. I really like how the fried portobello mushroom on my burger was really crispy and I wasn't expecting it to be stuffed with melty cheese. It was really good. The fries were also good and crunchy. However I did feel like my lunch meal was a bit too expensive and for that reason I'm not sure I would go back.

We stopped in for lunch at around noon on a Thursday. It's located at the end of a small strip mall in an area of town with not much going on. It wasn't too busy so we were seated right away. Our server was very friendly; he took our orders quickly, helped with some items on the menu and was great at checking up on us. Kid had the two soft tacos; not the kids meal because the sides sounded like too much food at the time. A taco and a half were chowed, so that's a good sign. I had the Piña Loca. It's like, fajita fixings with pineapple.... INSIDE a pineapple! Could it be more perfect?! It comes with queso and extra cheese but, I'm trying to be dairy free so I asked for none of those. That leaves the peppers, onions, pineapple, steak, chicken AND shrimp (although, I gave the shrimp to my friend). It also comes with rice and beans and a guacamole salad. It was delicious!! It could've used more chopped pineapple in the mix but I'm not going to complain because not everyone is as pineapple-crazy as I. My biggest complaint was that I could only eat what was on top because as I dug through it, I found that it was swimming in copious amounts of queso inside the pineapple. Such a bummer! It was so tasty and I'd have loved to been able to eat more of it, had it been prepared as I'd asked. Prices are about on par with what you'd expect at a place like this. Also, the menu is huge so take your time to check out the goodies.

We came to Indy from Columbus today and stopped by Big Dan's. To say the food was absolutely amazing is an understatement! The burgers have such an amazing flavor, not too big nor too small, and grilled perfectly. I have a picky toddler who absolutely loved the chicken tenders and our older son also loved the food. All in all we were really impressed with this place and if we come to the area again, we will definitely be coming back.

"So when I go out of town, my requirement is that my friends take me to local restaurants. My friend suggested I try this place. It has a very homely look and vibe and the plaza gets a lot of business with a liquor store next door. The chicken fingers were delicious and so was my seasoned turkey burger. I will definitely return. The staff was super nice too!"
"I can tell that they're trying their darndest to make the best out of a chaotic situation. This Shake Shake is located in the food court of the Keystone Fashion Mall, so a) you know it's going to be busy because it's in a mall, and b) this is one of the only three Shake Shacks in central Indiana. Yes, it's very busy all the time. But they are also working very hard to get the orders out quickly, and they actually have a line set up with someone attending it to manage all the chaos. And there are touch screens where you can order, as well as the option to order from a person at the register, so once you get in line, it isn't as horrible as you think it will be (or as horrible as I thought it would be). Considering how many people were there ordering and dining in and whatnot, it probably only took me 15 minutes from the time I got in line until I got my to-go order. This time, I got the chicken sandwich, which is great. It was assembled a little slap-dash, but that didn't bother me too much. It still tasted great. The crinkle fries are always good. The restaurant is accessible from the mall proper. If you try to go in from their street entrance, you'll find out that you can't. The street entrance is where you can pick up online orders, apparently."
"I haven't actually been to this restaurant, but I haveeaten here several times via takeout thanks to a coworker. Each time I've gotten chicken wings with the sauce on the side. My coworker suggested getting on the sauce on the side because they can drench it. The sauce makes the wings. They give you a large portion of fries. I flip between the 2 and 4 piece. She likes their shrimp. It's best to call in ahead."
"I always get their Chicago tenders and fries and they never disappoint! Usually takes about 15 minutes for the food to be done (for takeout) and when I get home it's usually still pretty hot! Never had tenders that were so seasoned with lots a flavor 10/10! There's usually a lady that runs the drive thru and they're always pretty nice and accommodating! :)"
"I went for a drive after work today and found myself on Indy's far-Eastside. After a while, I began looking for a place to get a bite to eat and was pleasantly surprised to see a relatively new Culver's location just inside the town limits of Cumberland directly on East Washington Street. This location is owned and operated by Caleb Hill, who also owns the Post Road Culver's. Typically, as a chain Culver's shies away from having people who own multiple locations since they do require their owners to be in the store working. However, Caleb has proven to be a rock solid owner and his crews are uniformly top-notch. This Culver's is located in front of the Meijer on East Washington Street. It's a solid location, though I found the overall layout a bit cramped. This is especially true given the increased use of drive-thru during the pandemic. Culver's is, of course, a fast food chain. I'd personally put it on the higher-end of the fast food industry. Culver's has been in Indiana for a few years now and I believe is up to 56 Indiana locations. They are most known for their "Butterburger" and for their custard. I tend to be fan of their Butterburger, however, I also like their chicken sandwiches. I don't get their custard as much as I used to, though I'll occasionally pick up a chocolate shake or a concrete mixer. The buildings are nearly all of the same design and the interior tends to be relaxed and comfortable. The drive-thru is usually solid. During the pandemic, I'd put them just behind a certain chicken establishment that people love to hate in terms of operating their drive-thru. I'm not sure when this location opened, though I'm aware it hasn't been that long ago. I was surprised they didn't yet have a review on Yelp. My mother used to do wholesale food sales and the Culver's on Post Road was one of her locations for a while. I got to know the crew well and really enjoy Culver's. As noted, this location is a bit cramped. Post Road has a fairly broad drive-thru that allows you to easily pull up and wait for your food. It's possible here, though it's more difficult and less obvious what you're supposed to do. The drive-thru personnel were super friendly, understood my order, got the pricing correct, and were operating effective and efficiently. I pulled forward to wait on my double Butterburger with fries and a large unsweetened iced tea. It was probably less than a five-minute wait. The order was correct and quite tasty. They do have some options for outside dining and, of course, a dining room. Culver's always does well with accessible parking and this was no exception. This is a welcome addition to the far-Eastside of Indy/Cumberland and I have no doubt will do quite well once people realize it's here waiting for them. While I will continue to mostly patronize Post Road, there's no doubt I'll stop by Culver's if I'm in this area."
"Yet another Mike's I just had to check out because I'm on a roll collecting rewards points and entering their basketball trivia sweepstakes. Every order via the app gets you another entry for their free trip to the Final Four in Houston. This location is just a tad smaller than the other places I have visited. I was here during the noon hour and the dining seating was still more than adequate. Today I tried a "bowl." Yes, you can order a sub sandwich without the bun and get the insides in a bowl which is rectangle in shape. You can save half the calories and even more on carbs. A #17 regular is 710 calories while a bowl is only 430 calories per the app. It is the way to go for me since I watch my waistline religiously especially after buying all new smaller size clothing ;-)My meal was excellent as usual. I do have to eat it quickly because without the bun the meat cools off faster sitting on a bed of cold lettuce. Hey Mike's, if your reading this, figure out a way to make the lettuce warmer for the bowls. In addition to the usual Chocolate Chip Cookies offered, they also have Snicker Doodles and Brownies all from the same company, David's Cookies. An employee said their brownies are very popular. I have not seen the brownies in the other stores. One thing do I like seeing is that in addition to keeping their tables clean and wiped down often they also restock the chips racks. I see this attention to detail at every location I been to so far which is four so far and counting."
"Well I went in to this with high speciations I was a little disappointed. It was okay as far as the tenders and the fries. The high point was not what I expected it was the toast it was delicious. I would like to try some of their other stuff so I will go back. I also had high hopes for the Zaxby's sauce and it was just alright. The staff was not that friendly . The lay out of the restaurant was not that good if there were more than two people in line it spilled out into the front door way and were in the way for people to get to the bathroom. There building a Raising Canne's a couple of lots over maybe they will live up to the hype."
"Very clean (which is saying something for Kokomo!) and quick. Good food and friendly staff."
"This is THE BEST BBQ you will find. The turkey was PERFECTLY smoked and soooooo moist. Marella is Excellent, helpful and what a nice smile, thank you"
"Came here yesterday! The food was hot and tasted great! I ordered a wing and shrimp meal! The customer service was awesome! I'd return!"
"Reliable and sometimes, sublime, the Philly cheese steak is truly a good sandwich. The wings are good but don't leave without hot sauce. It's a safe enough place by light, but be cool if you show up there at 1145 pm. You're a visitor, be f'ing cool and don't hassle the neighborhood folks."
"I love stopping for tacos when we come by Saraga for a monthly trip for noodles, sauces, and snacks. This is the only place that I have been able to find goat tacos which I am very fond of. Typically I do not eat red meat but these tacos are just worth a cheat once in a while. My husband really likes the chicken tacos and beef tacos. Overall you can't go wrong with the tacos. Fair warning the salsas are all very spicy. They also have some delicious beverages. We are very find of the red juice the name of which I forget at the moment. We have noticed that recently they redid the inside of the shop and the menu however the food quality is just as good if not better."
"First time trying a Raising Cane's establishment and was left with the thought I should try again. They are not currently in my area of VA. One opened in Richmond first of the year. The counter service was magnificent! I received assistance for a first timer getting a large chicken fingers & fries combo with bread and fountain drink. The food came out in minutes. The dining room was adequate size and mostly clean. The outdoor seating area was a hit on a sunny weekday afternoon. I chose a booth to set in. The meal was the correct temperature, the soda good. The main chicken fingers needed the accompanying sauce or ketchup. I found it a bit greasy, but crispy and pretty good. The crinkle fries good. The overall meal hits average for me. After finishing a manager checked on me as I was clearing my tray off in the trash. He gave me some company history and explained they may be a chain, but strong local founding. This was a positive interaction, but placement still seems best left at a 3.5, rounding down. I likely will return next time in the area."
"Love it, only thing I don't like is that they're closed during the winter. Everybody knows, everybody goes. Spanish sauce is perfection."
"I love Jersey Mikes. I have an intolerance to gluten and they have gluten free bread for subs however I can have a little gluten so I choose the wraps. I do wish they would get gluten free wraps. You might want to start toasting gf bread as it makes it taste better. I digress, the service is always good and the restaurant clean. I always take my sandwich to go and never have to wait."
"I stopped by this burger joint while commuting for work and hungry for lunch. I didn't want any fast food and the building signage claimed everything was made to order. My hamburger came out fresh and hot, though there are many free toppings to choose from, I went with grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, lettuce, and the home run sauce. The toppings were placed on very sparse. Josue was very thorough and kind in assisting me with my first time here. The area outside was clean. I will be back if in the area again."
"A solid Penn Station location.I've been here a few times and this location never seems to disappoint. Great staff, friendly service and good food. Exactly what you would expect from Penn Station. This location does not have a drive-thru. The parking lot is a little bit on the small side. Being that those are the only two negative things I have to say, there's no reason that I can think of to not stop in and visit this location.Would I go back? Yes I would. It is set back a little bit from the main road, but it's definitely worth looking for. It's not on the main 747 strip, nor can you see it from there, so keep your eye out. And don't forget to grab at least two of the best cookies of any fast food chain that I can think of!"
"This was one of the best burgers I've ever had. Fries were cooked to perfection. The service was amazing, they were so wonderful and friendly. I love the look and feel of diners, this will definitely be my go to."
"A couple years ago Arby's really went all in on their image change and efforts to rebrand. And I have to day, they did a great job.I've been to this Arby's a good number of times now, and it's so good that I will keep going back as long as I work close to this location. The management does a good job at keeping the place clean and running smoothly. The food is EXCELLENT, and fairly priced. The sliders in particular are simple but cheap and delicious - and who doesn't love some hot, fresh curly fries??I haven't been to McDonalds since I discovered this was just down the road. Only criticism is that sometimes the indoors is unusually chilly. But it's worth it for the awesome food and service."
"Freshest of subs and anything Mikes Way has that east coast traditional flavor! Love Jersey Mikes!"
"Ordering online for pickup was convenient and it was ready at the time promised. The food was accurate and included my sandwich modifications. They have two vegetarian options, a cold veggie sandwich and hot portobello sandwich. The cold veggie sandwich on rosemary parmesan bread was great with fresh swiss and provolone cheese. Employees were friendly, even while being busy."
"They have a drive through! Good service, quick and typical subway sub. 60 sec to order and 120 sec for the food."
"We had the fried cheese curds. Perfect lightly crispy on the outside and delightful because CHEESE."
