"This coffee shop is in such a cute area of downtown. Right next to some great businesses. I love going here for their Chai Latte! I've gotten both their spicy and sweet chai lattes and they are both great. The people are very welcoming and helpful. There is both inside seating and outdoor seating. I am not sure if they have a food menu since I haven't came here to eat but it didn't seem like they did. There are great restaurants around here though (Amelia's is right next door)! Street parking in this area! Usually can find a good spot though."

I think we beat the lunch rush, and honestly, I'm not mad about it because the place isn't super big. I don't love feeling crammed or like someone's sitting way too close (thanks, COVID), so it worked out perfectly.Our server, Adon, was awesome. Super friendly and really knew his stuff--he gave us the full rundown since it was our first time there. We started with the chips and dip trio, which came with queso, salsa, and some other dip I can't remember (it was another type of salsa though). Plus, it came with two different hot sauces. Such a solid starter! We also got a spicy margarita pitcher which was 10/10.Entrees: Okay, so I've never seen arroz con pollo done like this before, and I feel like Fernando's just set a new standard. I'm still thinking about it--absolutely amazing! We also ordered the ribeye to share, and wow, it was so juicy and tender. We were not expecting it to be that good, and it really blew us away.My fiancé decided to try the banana piña colada just to see what it was like, and unexpectedly, it was phenomenal. I'm not into artificial banana flavor, but this tasted like a banana coffee situation. The server mentioned there's a little espresso in it, and wow, who knew that combo would be so good?We'll 100% be back."

It was perfectly fried and delicious, but paired with the sambal it was absolutely divine!24 -- pad kee mao -- a personal favorite at all Thai shops. This one is a bit different in that the noodles aren't the big flat ones you'd expect, but still a flat rice noodle. Holy cow! The flavors are tantalizing. 26 -- pad see ewe -- a new adventure! My forever dining partner couldn't resist and absolutely loved it! I tried a bite and it was simply heavenly! Definitely have found our new Thai shop on the west side!"

We called at 11:30 AM on a Saturday and they were already sold out of brisket. We arrived about 12 noon and had to wait a good 15 minutes just to order. This place is busy! And for good reason. This Amish inspired bakery is large, selling everything from Amish eggs to peach fry cakes. Fresh pastries were coming out of the oven when we entered. We bought a recommended favorite cinnamon powdered donut and several fry cakes. Fry cakes are decadent hand-held popovers filled with fruit and covered with a sugar glaze. Everything we tried was delicious, so good that we took some fry cakes home. The friendly clerks told us about daily specials that will keep us coming back for more. There is interesting, modern, Amish-themed decor throughout the store. Seating is comfortable and clean at their cafe tables. Coffee is simple and good. Rise'n Roll Bakery is a Indiana-based franchise that start in Middlebury, Indiana. The recipes have Amish origins and ingredients are fresh. There is plenty of parking (with nice wide spaces) including ADA parking in the strip mall."

Many different options from traditional Louisiana specialties to Alligator tacos.We walked in and immediately seated in a requested booth. The hostess was pleasant, efficient and great at multi-tasking. Our server, Ryan, arrived moments after we were seated. He never missed a step, observant, checked on us several times but never intruded, was knowledgeable about the menu and a pleasure to have as our server.My husband ordered the Red Beans and Smoked Sausage which he devoured. I ordered the Grilled Blackened Catfish with grilled shrimp, smothered in delicious Etouffee. It was so scrumptious, I didn't want it to disappear. I did manage to save a small portion to have later tonight as a snack. It isn't spicy but if you enjoy spicy, the kitchen will accommodate you.The restaurant atmosphere is a fun sports bar with flat screens everywhere. The separate bar is a great place to dine and watch a game with tall-top tables and bar seating.It is a full service bar serving specialty cocktails, draft beer plus bottled/can beers.We love the food, great service, perfect location for viewing sporting events and nice spot for larger groups."

I have so far only tried the cinnamon rolls and they were really tasty all 3 times that I have been. The Cookie Monster roll has cream cheese frosting, cookie dough, and chocolate syrup. It's very dessert like. It even has chocolate chips. My last trip I had the roll with chopped fresh apple, caramel, and walnuts. The perfect fall treat. You can get rolls by the dozen if you need more than one. They even have bite size ones. Their website has tons of info. Lots of options for a holiday, office party, or family get together."

"Carl's is a locally-owned combination cafe and donut shop located in a little strip mall in Avon. The donuts are no secret as we followed a line of cars into the parking lot on a Sunday morning. There was a line of people waiting patiently to select their donuts when we walked in. There were many cases filled with fresh donuts, fritters, danish, turnovers and more. Two clerk were assisting customers, most of whom were buying several dozen donuts. I got a glazed donut and my husband got an apple fritter. The fritter was bigger than his head. My glazed donut was a cake donut. It was light with a perfect glaze. The apple fritter was like a coffee cake with lots of apples and a glazed topping. He shared the fritter with our granddaughters. There was plenty to go around. The cafe serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. They have daily meal specials. The lady in line ahead of us said the pork tenderloin is the best in town. Pork tenderloin is only served Monday-Thursday. We'll have to come back. They have about 20 tables for eat-in dining. There is a unisex restroom. Stop #4 of the donut trail will require a return visit."

Some ice cream joints in the Midwest close during the colder months, but this one doesn't. Good! I believe that ice cream should be an all-seasons treat for those that partake, if you ask me. (And I know you didn't ask me, but I'm telling you.)Scoop Shack is women-owned and locally owned, and they support the community by offering their space to small businesses and vendors to sell their goods. The ice cream is also made with local ingredients. Best of all: The ice cream is delicious! We got a flight of ice cream -- six different mini scoops of any of their 24 flavors. Each one was great in its own way, but we really loved the double chocolate and Lemoreo. You'll also find things like ice cream nachos, made with waffle cone "chips" and toppings. Other popular items include their ice cream tacos, cookie and waffle sandwiches, cake bites, drumsticks and lots more. The service was super friendly, and I love that they offer special events, like family bingo hours, trivia night, and paint-your-pet parties. This is a fun and cozy place to hang out, eat great ice cream, and have fun."

"I didn't know this ice cream shop was here till I pulled out of CVS. Went inside and they have snow cones, popcorn, and probably 15 different flavors. The owner Keith, and his son were there. You can sample all flavors of ice cream if you want. The ice cream is so creamy and comes from Michigan. The flavors were amazing, I could have had 8 flavors in one cup instead of 4 different flavors I couldn't decide. I will have to go back to try more flavors. The owner and son was so nice, and they have a game room in one of the rooms. There is seating area to sit down and eat in the store."
