Along the sides of the shop are packaged items that are priced individually like chocolate covered oreos decorated in themes like superheroes or winter. There is also a display case at the order counter where you can see a variety of cupcakes, some cookie options, and more chocolate options.The staff were patient and helpful and we were soon able to make our selections.It isn't the widest variety of baked goods around. I didn't see a lot of pastries here. Also, at the time of my visit, there were only a couple of each type of cupcake on display. Don't worry, they have plenty in the back if you want more of a specific type.If you have a sweet tooth, stop on by to see what may grab your interest. Nicole S. "I like a coffee shop with a good bakery selection, and Gramz Bakery has many baked goods. I saw lots of flavors of muffins, pecan rolls, cinnamon rolls, scones, banana bread, cookies, cupcakes and lots more. I got a banana nut muffin and a cinnamon roll. The cinnamon rolls was just OK, but the banana nut muffin was stellar. It had a somewhat sticky toffee top, and the whole shebang was tender and ultra banana-y. I also got a cup of black coffee, and it, too, was stellar. It almost had a fruity, wine-like flavor. Kind of bizarre and unusual but in the best way. This bakery / coffee shop is located in downtown Columbus. Parking is on the street and around the corner in the neighborhoods."

i am not a Huge cupcake fan, but i am a fan of the flying cupcake!! i've had friends get me them a few times (hence why the picture says anna lol) and it is always a great surprise. the cake part is moist and spongey, not dry like other cupcakes seem to be. the only reason i gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is they use a Ton of icing and i personally don't love that much, but the taste of their icing is amazing!! especially their peanut butter icing

I love cupcakes- I really do. Cake is my preferred dessert to cookies, brownies, etc,. largely because of how much I love frosting. And a cupcake is the perfect balance of cake to frosting, IMO. It's also a great post-meal treat without making you feel stuffed or like you've overindulged. I'd actually never heard of or seen Vanilla Bean until finding out a family friend was working there and invited me to take a look around! The bakery is quaint and inviting and while I'm biased in saying the customer service is great, I got to meet the owner and be welcomed into the store in an extremely friendly manner. Now, this is definitely a purchase-and-go bakery, so don't expect to sit down and enjoy your cupcake. I was recommended a bunch and stuck to my classic favorites which BOTH delivered - cookies 'n' cream and Boston creme pie. The icing is a bit stiff for my liking but softened by the time I reached home. What struck me the most? It's real, honest ingredients, done well. They have a huge variety so even if you prefer other treats, you won't be disappointed.

the food and padtires aren't bad and I've given this place maybe 5 tries now... but every time the service is SO terrible. the guy up at the counter is always rude and makes my start to the day so poor that I would rather skip breakfast or go somewhere else than spoil my mood. I might come back but only if I limit your interaction with him by ordering ahead and to-go.
