"If you're a true coffee snob, try the espresso. Not bad. This review requires 85 more characters to post."
"I had the grilled cheese which was delicious and my husband had the hot brown. Both were delicious. I did think the price was a high considering plates and utensils were plastic or throwaway. Napkins were paper towels. Chips were a Ruffles bag. Homemade Cookies ended the meal and were fantastic and a steal price wise. I would go back though."

"Hugh's has phenomenal drinks with sugar-free and daily-free options! I wish they had more gluten free food options, but their salads are delicious. Hugh's has a very cozy and intimate atmosphere that both locals and visitors seem to love. The service is usually quick and friendly!"
"Wow, was I surprised! I thought this was going to be primarily a coffee shop with maybe a couple of breakfast options. Man was I wrong! They have all kinds of breakfast selections. And their drinks menu is gargantuan! It covers an entire wall. This is a nice corner location with ample square footage. Dining in consists of five two seat tables in the front with a view of the street and a counter in the back with three chairs. From 7 am to 8 am, I observed a steady stream of customers ordering coffee and breakfast. I ordered one Biscuit and Gravy plus another Biscuit with Egg, Cheese, and Ham. Both selections were excellent. The biscuit and gravy was particularly awesome. I also ordered a Hot Chocolate. They have three choices of hot chocolate with or without whipped cream. Service was friendly, speedy and pleasant. The restaurant was clean and well stocked with coffee customizing accessories."
"I just tried The Haverstick for the first time a few weeks ago. I hadn't realized it existed before... maybe because it's nestled behind The Church at the Crossing? But a no fee co-working space with its own coffee shop inside sounded well worth a try!The space has a lot of seating options. When you walk in, there are long tables to the left. If you keep entering the main space, there are couches, plush chairs, and standard table and chairs to choose from. The lighting is kept kind of dim. It's moody, but may be a bit tough on the eyes depending on what you're working on. The long tables over by the door have better light!I didn't take a look at the private rooms, but I know they have those available to rent for a fee. You can talk to the baristas about it.I haven't tried the tea yet, but that's next on my list! What I really like about this place, though, is that they allow you to bring in whatever food or drink you want. It's really a space designed to serve the community. That's not something you see every day! I'll definitely be back to The Haverstick soon!"
"I stopped here on a rainy day and was greeted by a man seated near the entrance at one of the small tables there. He asked if I was there for coffee or food and let me know the coffee was self-serve (tea cups, not styrofoam/paper). I decided to go ahead and dine in and grabbed a spot at another table. Fortunately, there was a menu on the table already as I waited for signs of someone to take my order. The restaurant is long and narrow (shotgun) and has a quaint look with lots of china/decoration adorning the space and tablecloths. After another guest came in, who was also greeted by the man seated near the entrance, the man got up and brought me water and asked what I wanted to eat. I gave him my order of a half turkey club sandwich and a side salad and then helped myself to a cup of coffee. It was very odd that he sat there while I waited (several minutes). I've never experienced anything like it. Turns out he was one of the owners. After that unusual start, the food plate came out rather quickly and looked great. The side salad looked fresh and colorful with mixed greens, but leaves where full sized and needed to be cut before eating. I did like that the dressing came on the side. The half turkey club had turkey, bacon, and cheese on toasted white bread, and though the sandwich was okay, it lacked any condiments or seasoning to add layers to the sandwich. So, it was okay, but not something I would probably order again.I will say that the drip coffee (I got Hazelnut) was really tasty and ready to drink right away which I appreciated because of the damp chill in the air from a January rain. The space was quiet and inviting. Just needs a little tweaking to service/taste. When finished, I simply went to the counter by the pastry options and let the man and another staff member (he showed up about half way through my visit) know I was ready to check out instead of waiting for a bill to be brought to me. That seemed to work well.I would suggest that this is a place to visit if you aren't in a rush to get anywhere. Maybe a place for meeting a friend and spending time chatting. They do have alcohol for evening dining and offer breakfast options for morning folks as well.Review #3527"
"The Beehive in Danville is usually our first stop in town. We pick up lattes and choose from their wide variety of breakfast sandwiches or BYO salads (chicken salad is best!), and then walk over to the square to window shop. Service is always friendly and food is above average! Not getting food? There's also a cooler section with take-home meals and a small apparel/gift section with a cute honey bee theme!"
"Thirstea opened September 23, 2023. Family run business with a nice assortment of coffee, tea, boba and smoothie drinks. Staff very helpful and patient while customers pour over menu options. Clean, cute decor and reasonably priced. Smoothies were excellent and next visit will be trying their many unique coffee and tea choices!"
"Extremely friendly staff with great drinks and food. Clean cute study spot or place to hangout with friends!"
"Good food, great atmosphere and the staff are friendly. I enjoy the slow paced, laid back vibe and the menu is excellent. Need to add Irish Coffee to the Adult Desires Menu"
"Love the ambiance, food & most of their drinks. The staff is friendly & quick. However, I got a cup of reg coffee & it was very bitter & not that good which was disappointing"
"You know that feeling after a long day and you lay down and your bed is comfortable and pillows are cold? What about that feeling when you wake up in the middle of the night thirsty and see that theres a nice cold ice water right next to your bed? The coffee peddlar captures all of that in one, i love this place, its so cute, the people there are so kind and its just an awesome place with awesome coffee:)"

After seeing a slew of raving reviews, I had to give Yafa Golden Coffee a try. I arrived at about 12:30 PM on a Saturday and found a small table for two where I was able to set up my laptop and get some work done in their peaceful, warm, and stimulating atmosphere. They offer the convenience of complimentary Wi-Fi and parking. It looks like the owner was highly present in the dining area, constantly straightening chairs and wiping down tables as people left. He was pleasantly friendly and very hospitable. I did notice that when I left at around 1:30 PM, all the tables were full of chatting and studious folks so keep in mind that this is a highly desirable mingling destination where seating may be limited during high traffic times. As a coffee lover, I was torn in my choice as they offer an abundance of coffee and non-coffee beverages. I went with their seasonal pumpkin spice latte, and was not disappointed! Seriously, this is probably the best PSL that I have ever had. The espresso is perfectly roasted and not overly acidic like the kind found at the popular chain coffee houses. It was creamy and had a perfect balance of cinnamon and pumpkin. And what a pastry selection! The pictures do not do their beautifully assembled sweets any justice. The colors are vibrant, the pastries are flaky, and their presentation is stunning. I'm not well-versed in international desserts, but this is absolutely a go-to place to sample both nontraditional and traditional sweets. My pumpkin muffin was wonderfully moist and flavorful. My only gripe was the state of the bathroom. I appreciate that they are gender neutral and well stocked, but they looked like they had not been wiped down in a few days. Stains and dust were abundant on all the surfaces, and I hate to think that the people preparing my food touch those same surfaces. With as much business as Yafa pulls in, I would suggest an hourly bathroom check to simply wipe down everything. Maintaining a sanitary environment is key to any dining establishment.

A Madison staple!! The Downtown is a classic Madison experience for lunch! Friendly staff and service. I crave the loaded potato soup and grilled cheese and when I'm back in my hometown it's a must stop! So yum! Also save room for dessert and get a cookie or slice of cake. Parking is always free and lots of adorable shopping in the area!

Whenever I go to The Haverstick to cowork with friends, I end up saying "Why don't I come here more often?"This is a no-fee space with plenty of seating options - small tables, big tables, comfy seating, even private rooms you can rent for a small fee! It's a large space, but no one is too loud, so it's a great space to get work done.I will say, the beverages leave a bit to be desired. I tried the chai tea latte and wasn't a fan, and my friend didn't love her coffee beverage. However, they have a nice selection of bottled beverages, pastries and packaged snacks that I'll opt for next time.

What a cute, quaint place! I felt like I was transported to a London pastry shop from the 80s when I walked through the door.We went for dinner on a Friday night, which is the only night they offer dinner. It was pretty slow, but I think this is more of a breakfast/brunch spot. The dinner options did not disappoint though! They do have beer, wine, and cocktails (my mule was delicious!!) I ordered the Philly sandwich and my fiance ordered a cheeseburger. There were only 2 people there, I believe they were the owners. Literally heard the stove light up and they started to cook our food!! This meal was absolutely DELICIOUS and did not disappoint. The prime rib on the sandwich was cooked perfectly. Also, the bun I overheard is from a local bakery. Let me tell you, this is one of the best breads I've ever had. Really puts an extra special "umph" on the food.We can't wait to come back and try brunch here soon! The patio is pup friendly, so will definitely be bringing our greyhound furchild!!

This was my second time at The Beehive in the last few months. The first time I got the Nutella latte hot and now I tried it cold yesterday and I have to be perfectly honest, I'm not sure which version I love more. The place has a super cute vibe, and the bathroom is very clean. Great little coffee spot if you're roaming around Indiana.

We had a great time when we visited this week. The young man that waited on us was very polite and patient. Our drinks were amazing! We all decided on smoothies this time but there are a large variety of drinks to choose from. We will definitely be back!!

"Millie's went from food truck to sharing a space with Field to Fork in downtown Franklin. Not only do they have ice cream, but they also sell their popular pancake poppers in the store too. I got the Tacone, which is a taco shaped waffle cone filled with soft serve and topped with cookie dough pieces, caramel and hot fudge. It was so good! I also got strawberry flavoring added and it was a really nice after dinner treat. They are open a little later than some other places in Franklin so that's nice and it also looks like there's space inside if you want to have a private party. Seating is a little limited but there are a few spots up near the front entrance."
"Scooter's was open on a Sunday afternoon when no other coffee shop in Batesville was open! Apparently, restaurants and shops in Batesville prefer to be closed for 50% of the weekend. Oh well. My coffee money went to Scooter's.I just got a black coffee from the drive-thru. Scooter's has a drive-thru! The whole transaction, from pulling up to the drive-thru kiosk to ordering to receiving my coffee, was seamless and fast. The people who work here who I encountered were very friendly, too. Scooter's has a large menu of coffee drinks. In fact, there are more coffee-like drinks than there are just regular coffee. They have things like Cinnamon Toast Crunch lattes, green leprechaun shakes, smoothies, and even energy drinks. They also have pup cups (of what looks like whipped cream) for dogs. I didn't want any of that, but if you're in the mood to drink all of your calories for the day, this place will help you out with that. The coffee was good, the service was quick, and best of all, they were open."
"Neidhammer Coffee is an unexpected stop that you won't regret. We grabbed just 2 large drip coffees, and the coffee was delicious. Great selection of alt-milks! There was an upcharge on almond/oak/etc. Not a huge deal as the coffee was reasonably priced otherwise. After sitting for a while drinking coffees and enjoying the atmosphere, we decided to try the crepes. My partner had never had a crepe before and he wasn't sure what to expect. He loved it, definitely glad we gave it a second look! There is someone working there who mans the crepe wheels out in the open.A lovely stop, will be back."
"The super creative drinks and themes. Friendly staff that remembers your name. Love this coffee shop!"
"I walked in for the first time on a Friday afternoon. The shop smelled great of course. The decor was perfect. It took a few moments to decide what to drink. There were many flavors of teas and coffees. I chose Banana Nut freshly brewed coffee and a Cinnamon Sugar Muffin. Warmed. I settled down in the corner of the shop on a comfortable, cushiony, chair and flipped through my phone. Spoke to another lovely lady who had been waiting for her coffee. Didn't have time to look at their T-Shirts or other products sold. Great experience in Downtown Muncie, IN on a Friday afternoon."
"I had the best chai latte here! I usually just drink black coffee, but I was feeling like something sweet on this cold day, and decided to get a latte with whole milk. Apparently, the chai lattes come in either "spiced" or "vanilla," so I chose spice. It was delicious and sweet and perfectly made.FYI: The cortado comes with a chocolate-covered coffee bean, which is a nice touch. There are also several seasonal coffee drinks on the menu, as well as every permutation of coffee you can think of, from espressos to Americanos to mochas, and also teas, cold and hot.1832 Brew Espresso Bar is located in the same building as Sub Zero Nitrogen Ice Cream. Order ice cream on the left, order coffee on the right. There are tables and booths to sit at, as well as barstool seating that looks out onto Carmel's Main Street. The person behind the counter was exceedingly kind and friendly -- exactly what you'd expect at a downtown Carmel shop."
"I stumbled upon this spot after picking up croissants from the neighbor, Le Croissant. I had an hour between meetings and was craving something healthy. I saw that Root 2 Rise had great Yelp reviews, so I stopped in. They had cute tables outside, a beautifully-tiled counter inside, and lots of artsy, eclectic seating and tables throughout the indoor space. As someone who works from home, I quickly pegged it as a perfect spot to work from. The employees immediately greeted me too, so it all-around felt like a win.Their menus include smoothies, juices, a soup of the day, and a small fridge full of mini to-go meals. I got the anti-inflammatory juice: celery, kale, apple, pineapple, ginger, and lemon. It tasted great and felt good for the body. I was also thrilled to see a small spinach salad with chicken salad and walnuts on top in the fridge. It was a little bowl and so delicious. It's so rare to find a healthy, quick option like that. They also had a few burritos and sandwiches to choose from too.I easily connected to their wifi and got some work done while I enjoyed the food and juice. Such a perfect find. Only things I'd add to this spot would be a hook in the bathroom so you don't have to set your purse or backpack on the floor, as well as a recycling option, since I had to toss my juice and food containers, even though I enjoyed both in-person."
"Service is beyond par - a hearty welcome and a good assessment that new customer might need assistance- sales clerk knew exactly what everything had in it, sandwiches and drinks plus bags of teas and coffee beans. Nice and relaxed atmosphere that I needed in the middle of a day where I was in Madison for training. Will be back soon!"
"Fantastic spot bustling with people, great smells and merchandise! It's in an unassuming area but loaded with pleasant vibes and delicious and unique flavors. I ordered a large Banana Miso Latte with oat milk and it was a lovely blend of creamy banana and savory miso aftertaste. Worth it! They have ample sweet and savory snacks and treats. A good size parking lot and ample seating options inside and out. Don't miss out on this shop!"
"I had just gotten out of an appointment and was craving Jacks Donuts. I had not been to Jack's in quite a while, so this was good for me to visit this location again. It is just as how I remembered it, and was very clean inside. The ambiance is very good and much more organized than the last time I was here. The donuts are awesome and come in a variety of flavors. The fruity pebbles donut is the best! I was so happy to see that they had gluten free donuts, so I picked up a half dozen of them to take home. The woman behind the counter was very professional and nice and took good care of me, so I was happy to see that! These days I am eating healthy and trying to take better care of myself, but I had to have some donuts every now and then, so was proud to be in the area and pick up some Jack's Donuts. Jack's Donuts are high quality in my opinion and they taste amazing!! They always get creative with their flavors, which I appreciate very much! Everyone should experience Jack's Donuts in Indiana because it is worth trying once. You will not be disappointed!"
"Love this cute little place. Went for the first time on Sunday and had the london fog. It was great. Just need to to ask for it extra hot next time. Emy classic was pretty good. Service was friendly and excellent. Will be bad again."
"This week, I had one of the most delightful beverages I have ever experienced. The Honeydew Blueberry Boba Shaker is insanely delicious--a familiar flavor pairing, and yet completely fresh and new. Cute little chairs for sitting and talking with friends, old and new. A table smack in the middle, made of an old bicycle, adds to the visual appeal. Not a lot of seating, so if you want to sit and stay awhile, might be better to go at an off-peak time."
"I love this place, and I have for the 15+ years I've lived in Indianapolis. Here's why: -There is something for everyone. Tea lover? Coffee fanatic? Just stopping by for a nibble of some locally made baked good? They got you. -There's local art on display, local flyers up advertising local events, and locally made baked goods for sale. (Notice the theme? They're the real deal for supporting local). -They have great natural light for working or relaxing with your coffee. -Free wi-fiI genuinely can't imagine Broad Ripple without this spot, and don't want to! If you haven't tried it yet, get on over there and get you some coffee. :)"
"I first discovered Mariam Coffee on Instagram, where I watched a video of traditional Turkish coffee being heated in a copper pot over hot sand. I was instantly intrigued and knew that I had to check this place out for myself.I was impressed with the variety of drinks on the menu, ranging from Turkish coffee, to boba tea, to more "familiar" drinks like macchiatos and milkshakes. There was something for everyone in my group to enjoy, even the pickier eaters. Mariam also offers an array of assorted baked goods and sweets, including the viral Dubai chocolate. Unfortunately, they were out of the Dubai chocolate when I went, and the waitress said it is very popular and usually sells out before the end of her shift. I wanted something refreshing and sweet, so I tried the sparkling boba drink with mango boba and strawberry syrup. It was presented to me on a wooden tray, and it tasted just as good as it looked! I loved the mix of mango and strawberry, and the fizziness from the sparkling water. On the table, there was a QR code to scan and leave a google review in exchange for a free Turkish coffee, and since that is what i came to Mariam for in the first place, I had to take advantage of that offer. The coffee was different than anything I had ever tasted before, and I can't say I was the biggest fan of the blend of spices. However, the experience of watching the coffee being brewed over the hot sand was very fun and made me glad that I tried something new.I would recommend Mariam to anyone who wants to diversify their palate and try a specialty drink from another culture!"
"Excellent tea!Great tea service - sandwiches and scones were amazing!Staff were so friendly and welcoming!Adorable tea shop!"
"A new favorite donut shop. I stopped by a weekday at 8am and the case was full of donuts and staff were quick. The glazed croissant was delicious. Would drive 15 mints for just this item! Also tried the chocolate old fashion donut and it hit the spot. They have tables for dine in with plenty of space, drinks, and sandwiches."
"LOVE Amelia's. The Windsor Park location is right near where I work and I'm so grateful! They never miss in the pastries!"
"I had a delicious sandwich here and amazing chocolate croissants! So excited to have a bakery in town. I look forward to trying out more of their bread--especially their sourdough. Bonus: There is a discount on day-old bread and pastries. Still delicious, and will save you a bit of cash!"
"Hello Fellow Yelpers Today, I allowed myself a good 30 minutes to do a little midday R&R at Ascend Coffee. This was my second time visiting this cozy coffee shop and I ordered myself a Brown Sugar Cinnamon Latte with Almond Milk Substitute. There were GF/DF breakfast squares on display, as well, so I added that to my $10 order. Ordering in person is quick and easy. The menu is pretty straightforward. I am not a coffee drinker but on occasion I can really use the pick-me-up. I like the seating arrangement in this open concept space. They have several couches, lounge seating, and a few little nooks (or I like to call them *cubbies*) with bench seating in the shape of your own personal cube. I had no trouble with setting up my things in my little cube, and there are charging outlets inside for your device. I recommend using a napkin or ask for a small plate for your food items to be laid on the bench that can cross-function as a low tabletop. Customers can clean up after themselves and any soiled dishes can be returned underneath their ice water station. I like that they use glassware for dining in. I will mention that today there were a good number of people already inside when I walked in at about 12:30 PM. There is semi-soft music playing overhead, but I noticed the conversations and talking more than that. Depending on your noise preferences, I would recommend wearing headphones (or airpods) to block out ambient sounds. The talking and chatter may be a distraction if you are coming in at a busier time and need to focus or study in "silence." But this is nothing unusual for a local coffee shop that is bustling. Today, I read another two chapters in one of my favorite Emily Henry books, 'Funny Story' and took my time savoring my gluten free, dairy free breakfast bar with my hot almond milk latte. This was a great choice of space to stay warm in this frigid weather. Easy going, casual, and cozy."
"Cute store with a really cool selection of international groceries, and an amazing bakery stocked with fresh pastries, breads, cakes, and more. I've never had homemade Turkish delight, and it is very delicious! The staff are friendly and welcoming. We are looking forward to coming back soon!"
"Great find on our stop back from VT to OK! Wonderful cafe latte, chocolate milk, French toast, blueberry muffin, & apple turnover. Worth the stop, antique atmosphere, and close to the highway."
"Such a cute spot! Here's what it is: + Beautiful home goods store (everything from wall hangings to furniture)+ Coffee shop called Cafe Jardin (baked goods, coffee, tea, smoothies, etc) + Outdoor chill area (patio, grassy area, games, picnic tables) + Event space (family-friendly movie screenings, book-readings, etc)I'd recommend following them on social media for the cookie pop-ups and events they host too. The location is far out in Noblesville with not a *ton* around, but that makes them an even more special *oasis* in the neighborhood. Baristo Sam is awesome and the Providence owners are wonderful too. Definitely people I'm excited to support!"
"Just a good ole home town place to eat. Prices are good and the food tasty. Bring your appetite, the portions are not small. FYI- The cheesecake donut is the best donut of them all. Enjoy!!"
