The general tso's sauce was generous, and we both liked our side fried rice and lo mein. My favorite was the shrimp egg roll that was a slight up charge to get over a vegetarian egg roll that came with the combo.What I wish was better: The general tso's could have been a bit spicier, on the menu it was flagged as spicy but I tasted no heat. Some pieces of chicken were over fried (stringy dry chicken leftover in your mouth when chewing) and some pieces were under fried (the batter was under done) so that was a bit odd. The crab rangoons were just OK.I'd like to give this place another shot - but just overall rating this experience as OK!"

"We happened upon this place when looking for a place to eat for dinner. It is located in the old Bob Evans near 465 and Franklin Rd on E. Washington St. All the old seating is still in place inside. We were sat right away, with only a few other tables occupied. Our server was very friendly and attentive. He was able to explain things on the menu and came to check on us several times. The menu is pretty extensive, with lots of options. The portions are large and everything tastes great. The best part is the BellaBot that brings your food out to you. It is a talking robot kitty!The only dissapointment was the fortune cookies. While they tasted great, the "fortunes" inside were more like proverbs, not fortunes. They have seated tables and also a sushi bar at the front. They serve chinese dishes, soups, appetizers, sushi, and desserts. We all had plenty of food to take home as leftovers. We will definitely be back!"

When it opened, it was known for low prices, fresh food and a chocolate fountain surrounded with gargantuan strawberries, marshmallows along with other fruits to dip. "[COVID takeout review]Overall: A typical yet great option for Chinese takeout during the pandemic.The good: We ordered a large amount of takeout for our family and it was ready within 30 minutes (it was a lot of food), so they are definitely speedy in that regard. Online ordering was a breeze and there are a TON of options to choose from, so anyone can find something they like. The portions are huge and you'll definitely have leftovers, so the prices are well justified as well (not that they're that expensive). The food itself is pretty typical of what you'll find at a lot of Chinese takeouts in the area, but that doesn't mean it's bad by any means. The fried pork rolls were amazing- crispy and stuffed with goodness, as were the crab rangoons and potstickers. The majority of the family all loved their respective meals (see below for ours), and everything was still hot when we got home.The not-so-good: We were expecting the sweet and sour chicken to be a stir-fry of fresh chicken and veggie goodness but instead got fried bites of chicken that you pour the sauce on top of. The end result was a pile of somehow still dry pieces of fried chicken on top of white rice. Also, a minor detail, but we didn't get chopsticks for our to-go boxes."

Their service has always was wonderful and the restaurant was clean though. I don't think I would eat there because the dining room is more of a storage place for all their supplies with a couple tables."

"I tend to be a kinder and gentler Yelp reviewer, however, I can't deny I found myself disappointed during this first visit to Pagoda Grill and Buffet, a Chinese buffet located in the strip center at 38th and Moller in Indy's International Marketplace area. I'd offered a friend of mine a meal at his place of choice for Christmas. We usually get together on my side of town, however, this time around we chose something closer to him. Pagoda is in an older strip center, though it's fairly well maintained with accessible parking spots and an appropriate curb cut. The glass doorways here are a little heavy, though they were manageable. As you enter, there's dining to the right, a hosting area where you pay directly in the middle, some Chinese decor toward the front, and the remainder of the buffet and dining room behind the hosting area. They also have a party room all the way in the back. We arrived at about 5:30pm in the dinner hour. The crowd was pretty steady. There are several buffet tables with both traditional Chinese fare along with obvious American items like fried chicken, pizza, and other items. My friend and I found a table, though it was quite filthy with a big clump of food directly under it that wasn't cleaned up until we were done. After you pay, they give you your receipt and a server comes by to check your drinks and then brings the drinks. This server was efficient, though not particularly hospitable. That said, she did bring refills. The food ranged from downright cold to kind of warm. I think there were a couple items I'd consider to have been hot. I had one plate and started a second, however, by the second the coldness of the food made it very unappealing.Crab rangoons were decent. Chicken was tolerable. Fried rice was bland. Egg rolls were okay. It was all definitely very "meh" and nothing that I thought was memorable. The atmosphere was tolerable but far from appealing. I think the overall price was in the $40+ range including drinks for two people. Would I visit again? Not a chance. There are too many other better options. This is the area where I grew up and I was really hoping to find a place over here for those times when I am feeling nostalgic. While I've had worse meals, the average atmosphere, cold to warm food, dirty floor, and lack of welcome all add up to this being a one and done experience."

"My sister and I decided to get Chen's Wok last week and it was such a great decision. We called ahead and ordered carry-out. We called and they said it would be about 20-25mins. We arrived 20 minutes later and it was ready to eat! Walking in they are still adhering to all COVID precautions which is great to see! I paid and walked right out with my food - took all of 3 minutes!My sister and I ordered quite the smorgasbord from here and we were not disappointed at all. We got an order of Vegetable Low Mein, Sesame Chicken, General Tso's Chicken which came with White Rice and an order of Crab Rangoons. We both shared everything and it was all very good. The food was warm, the noodles were soft and their was a distinct difference in taste between the two types of chicken -- I think sometimes at other places they can run too close together. I think that the amount of food that we got for the price we paid was pretty equal. ALSO 6 Crab Rangoons come in an order. I will definitely be going back here again as you get a lot of food, it's very good and fairly priced!"

Including fresh sushi on the display! I can confirm this because the sushi guy was frequently adding new sushi while I was there. Looks to be a local spot with frequent customers, college students, and seniors. Went around 1pm on a Friday and it wasn't crowded but there was still a decent amount of people there, many having leisure lunches with friends. I knocked it a 1 star because we had no idea what to do when we arrived, there was no sign to indicate whether we sat ourselves or not. The waitress wasn't super friendly and was hard to understand, she just pointed to a table. We still weren't sure if she wanted us to go sit or follow her, eventually we figured it out - she will seat you. Unlimited refills on soda for $1.50, huge glasses and the refills were always replenished. They serve Coke products, Including Mello Yello (for anyone out there who gets as excited about this as my husband )."
