Emi M. "I went to Yaso for the first time in a long time and it did not disappoint! I love that they have daily specials and I tried brown stew chicken today (Thursday and Friday only). Mine came with a lot of rice and the cabbages were also great. Everything was just great. It would be even better if chicken was boneless but I know I will have this meal again because it was so tasty. There are not so many tables inside but they did have patio seating too. The food only took five minutes. Staff were so nice there! There were two TVs showing some Jamaican people cooking something which was also interesting too. I loved the reggae music playing in the background. Great place!"

Jessica H. "Hole-in-the-wall but FULL of FLAVOR!!!! Visited for the first time on 04/15 for take out and it was delicious!!!!! Thanks Yelp for helping me find a great place with Jamaican food! For take out they only needed a 10 minute heads up for carryout (I was 55 minutes away). So called back I 10 minutes before needing to pick up and had very little wait. Friendly staff and good service. I will totally make the drive from Lafayette for this again!! This was my first time trying this cuisine and what I ordered did NOT disappoint!"

Sara P. "We recently visited Jamaican Breeze for the first time for sit-down dinner, with our vegan friends who raved about their almost weekly take-out veggie stew order. We visited early on a Thursday night and were one of the few dine-in customers, but we noticed a steady flow of take-out pickups and Door Dash drivers. Menu-wise, we wanted to try the oxtail, jerk chicken, and jerk ribs, and found the combo offerings a great option to try more dishes out. Both of our dishes came with the rice and peas mix, steamed cabbage, and plantains. Our vegan friends ordered their same tried-and-true vegan vegetable mix. Our favorite item was the dark meat jerk chicken and hot sauce; we poured that sauce over everything and will order more next time. We also enjoyed the oxtail, but probably missed out on some of the meat still left on the bones...mostly because we felt awkward in sucking meat off the bone in front of a vegan audience. I enjoyed the butter beans that came with the oxtail, as well as the steamed cabbage carrot mix. We noticed the menu was very vegetarian and vegan friendly, for those interested in exploring those offerings. The restaurant was very clean, with a friendly, casual environment that was colorfully decorated. The owners did a really good job in refreshing the space, from its prior lives as different restaurants. Our service was also very welcoming and understanding of our need to chat with our friends, commiserate, and catch up. We live super close to Jamaican Breeze and feel silly for not visiting sooner; we'll definitely be back for more jerk chicken and to try out more options!"

Jemmie W. "Amazing place. I will definitely be back.Jiallo's is run by people from Guinea. The food is rich and flavorful and the portions are generous. If you are looking for a slick place where some cheery blonde greets you and takes you to your table so you can see and be seen, this is not it.If you are looking for a simple place offering authentic, flavorful ethnic food that you won't find in too many other places in Indy, this is it."

Linda M. "I was buying a meal from another restaurant in the shopping complex. I came across this restaurant. So, I checked it out. There is no space to eat inside. I asked for a takeout of a beef patty for $1.75. The crust was crusty. The beef tasted like ground beef. What else can I say except I got what I paid for. However, I was thinking because it was related to Jamaica that maybe it would have more flavor like jerk in the meat. They have $2.25 chicken patty but are made to order so it would have been a 20 min. wait."

Wanda M. "We found a wonderful Mexican restaurant that has been here for a couple of years but wasn't on our radar. We haven't been in this section of the strip center since this was Dickey's BBQ several years ago. We've now been here twice by ourselves and then brought family on Saturday for our third visit in a week and a half. We were tickled that the family enjoyed lunch on Saturday as well. Tacos Don Pablo just hits all points for us from excellent, friendly service, ice cold draught beer, cocktails, margaritas, table service, authentic Mexican food, and affordable prices. Another surprise and positive is that they serve a reduced number of Danny's Mexican ice cream directly from a smaller Danny's freezer on-site. Speaking of lunch, they offer a lunch menu Monday - Friday from 11:00a - 3:00p. or order off the regular menu. Parking isn't a problem with the large shared strip center parking. Our first server here was Buky, who was amazing, and he helped make our first visit so truly enjoyable. Since then, we have found all the server friendly, glad to answer questions, efficient, attentive without being intrusive, and removed used dishware quickly. Another positive was that the music was at a volume where we could have a nice conversation. We enjoy the complementary salsa and chips. We haven't ordered an appetizer yet since we're always so full after our meals. We've now enjoyed the Cameron's a la Diablo twice, Chili Colorado, Quesabirria Tacos, and the Carnitas dinner. The dinners are so good that we keep reordering an entree one of us had previously, so we're not rushing through the menu sampling different entrees.I love Flan and try to order at every Mexican restaurant we visit. It was no different here as I've had the Flan twice now. Both times, the Flan was fresh and creamy, and Taco Don Pablo's serves a generous amount of carmel sauce on their Flan, which I love. We're both happy with Taco Don Pablo's and hope the food quality and service continue to be as satisfying as during our last few visits."

Steve S. "We stopped here for lunch because we've been to Jamaica & love the food there. It's pretty good here.We started with Barbifry and the lemon pepper wings. Loved them, especially the Barbifry wings! Then I had the jerk chicken with potato salad and jerk fries. The jerk chicken was very good and the juicy sauce with it was great. We poured the juicy sauce on the fries and they went from ok to Excellent! I wasn't a fan of the potato salad, a bit too much vinegar. It's slow - we were there an hour. Ask for extra napkins, you'll need them. I went to the restroom and got paper towels. Overall, we liked it. I'd come back for the wings & fries with the jerk sauce on them."

Sharaun F. "I always try local restaurants while traveling or staying local. We found this Jamaican spot and decided to try it. We really enjoyed our good. The jersey chicken pasta was tasty and spicy. We enjoyed our cabbage a lot. The rice and beans were not my favorite, but I would just pick a different side next time. My family enjoyed onion rings and also the potato wedges. If we find ourselves back in this area, we would return again."

We ordered several appetizers, and my fave was the fried fish. For seafood lovers, this place is awesome. And no worries for those who are not, they have plenty of non-seafood choices. The atmosphere is breezy, bright, and tropical. The bar area is fun and inviting too! The only thing that would make this better is if the lyrics had live music. Here's hoping that comes soon!!"

Georgia Street takes me back to movies like Love Jones with a really cute vibe that makes you want to fall in love from across the room....I digress. The service is great, and it's so fun and energetic. There was a live band which (live music always wins). I made a reservation and everyone was so accommodating. The food was very fresh (I burnt my tongue, the fish was fresh fresh) and delicious. So excited about the future of this place because they have a great formula"

Chantelle A. "So decided to go to this place because I have been craving Jamaican food, let's proceed.Venue: I'm not going to lie when I pulled up the parking lot was being worked on and the venue kind of looked suspect. However, When you go inside there's a left section a right section, and about four tables where you can sit and dine in (two tables on each side). Then you walk up to a glass where you put in your order. The inside was clean. The only thing was their door every time it closed kept making a loud banging noise so it was alarming until you got used to it. We decided to dine in and I'm glad we did. Would I come here on a date, naaa. But would I come here with the family and some friends for sure (which I did). Service: First of all you know there's that stereotype that if you go to a Jamaican restaurant and the service is bad the food is going to be amazing? ROFL. Honestly, I was scared because the guy who greeted us, Jason, was super nice. So in my head, I'm thinking oh man this food is about to be horrible lol. Jason is one of those people with an energetic, charismatic personality and he spoke with such kindness and happiness. I was thinking to myself whatever he's on I'm trying to get on it as well l, to be as happy as he is. Throughout the whole meal, he checked on us, made sure we were good and asked for our opinions. There was also another lady who came out and greeted us as well as very nice people. Amazing service!!!!!! Once again amazing service! Shout out to Jason!Food: like I said after the great service we received I wasn't feeling too hopeful about the food being good rofl. However, let me state this, I'm actually upset that I went into this establishment because now I have to figure out how I am going to budget for coming here so often. The food was unbelievably delicious!!!!! Danggggggg. (Punches air) l wish the food was nasty so I could not go back but it's nootttt. I'm about to go broke coming here every day almost ugh. They should start a loyalty program rofl. I got the Oxtail, on everything, this was so fresh and hot. Some of the best oxtail I've eaten. I've noticed a lot of Jamaican restaurants making their oxtails overly sweet but this was perfect. Like the gravy was really really good. The only thing I should have done was ask for more gravy which Jason told me I could have done after the food was gone lol. I know for next time. The rice was good. Let me say this, I don't even like cabbage but the way I smashedddddd. I legit inhaled all the food. My friend got the chicken curry. That chicken curry was seasoned just right not too salty not under season but perfect for dipping my beef patty in. My sister got the jerk chicken and when I say it tasted like they were killing the chicken and smoking it out in the back babbbyyyy!!!!! Whew, lord the way I'm trying not to go there while writing this ugh. I also ordered the festivals...... Just buy two orders trust me. Listen I could go on and on about the food let me just do the cons because it's easier. The only thing I wasn't too fond of was the plantains I feel like they were overly cooked I like mine's little bit firmer but to each their own they were still not bad. And the drink I got the Sorel was good but it was overly sweet. However, once I started eating the sweetness definitely went right along with the savoryness of the food. Price: for the oxtail, jerk chicken, two orders of festivals, two drinks I paid around $46. Not bad at all because the way I was eating all I could think about was my bills about to be $100 and it wasn't so I was happy. Pricing isn't bad. Yall know oxtail expensive! LolSummary of you can't read all that lol.Do I recommend this place I sure the heck do! One of the best Jamaican restaurants in Cincinnati, I would say. I'm trying get a part time job here so I can eat for the freeeeeee. Hahaha. 10 outta 10 would recommend!!!!!"

Oneya O. "Gee's has a new location, walking distance from UC! I was excited to try it. I received a friendly greeting when I walked in and was directed to check out the menu. I ordered the curry goat with plantains and cabbage. The goat was the most tender I have ever had. I was nervous that it would be hard to eat because of all the bones, but the meat just fell off the bone. Where the dish fell a little flat for me was in terms of flavor. The curry was present but had no spice and the plantains weren't ripe and sweet. Still, it was a great lunch and I had enough for two days! There's plenty of seating for a group. Worth checking out."

Katharine B. "This bar is pretty nice. My dad wanted to checkout a new restaurant/bar which featured Haitian Food.I ordered the Red Snapper (baked) and wow was this fish huge! It took awhile for the food to come out, but it was very good. Once I find the pictures of the food I'll add it on here. I'm not really into bars so my review is more or less on the food than anything. Bar seemed nice, but I had went on a weekday for lunch so I'm sure this place is popping at night."
