"Again, they didnt disappoint. Service is excellent, staff personable and most foods fresh and plentiful. About 2-3 pm however, tho few people, the small beef and chunks of chicken and rice on sushi were too overdone..Hard n dry. But.. their shrimp? Large and excellent and plenty! I added a tea with strawberry boba and total cost was only )17.10!"
"I came here when I first moved to Carmel, was great food and good service. After the pandemic this buffet is still great. They where okay when I brought my school bag. Other buffets would want my bag In the car or somthing.Price is okay being a broke college student."
"I like this restaurant. At the price of less than $10, you can get variety of chinese foods. Food is delicious. Clean and very comfy. The owner is very kindly."
"This restaurant has been around forever. When it opened, it was known for low prices, fresh food and a chocolate fountain surrounded with gargantuan strawberries, marshmallows along with other fruits to dip. While the huge fountain doesn't erupt from the restaurant's center at lunchtime (it maybe dinner only) there's still something for everyone. They have steak, spare ribs, sushi, dessert crepes made to order (limit 2 per person), a full salad bar, soups, pot roast, quesadillas and so much more."
"This place was very affordable. I believe i paid $21.44 for 2 people. I was just disappointed with the service. Nobody was friendly or attentive. I didn't like the fried rice which made me sad. It needed flavor! I think i only liked the honey chicken. The egg rolls were just ok. I didn't care to try the sushi. I didn't like the frozen yogurt. I don't think I'll return. I'd rather eat at Wings Etc next door."
"Ordered through Uber Eats. Got in a reasonable amount of time in a blizzard food was very good. Had never eaten there before. Now I have a new Chinese restaurant woohoo"
"Best Chinese buffet in SE Indiana! Super clean, super friendly, hot fresh food, & lots of variety.I'm not a sushi eater but the owner said they get rave reviews about it."
"Stopped in here last night for the crab leg / seafood buffet First off I must say the cashier and hostess were extremely friendly Our server was nice enough but was never around. He got our drinks and we didn't see him again until we were leaving Our bussed Aaron was excellent !! He kept our plates cleared never letting anything pile up We saw him a total of 6 times during our visit verses our server once ... smh I sure hope y'all are paying your Busters more the. Your servers because they are the ones doing all the work Now for the food We got there about 1/2 after the opened for dinner So all the food was fresh and hot Very kind of seafood from crab legs to deep friend oysters, salmon, clams, deep friend fish, shrimp and even sushi All was excellent Nice salad bar Only thing lacking was he desserts Usually any casino buffet you find excellent choices of desserts but not here The placement of the dessert are even unappealing The are on a show over salads and such Really need a desert bar of its own I would have give a 5 star but just can't due to our server When in the area we would most likely come back because the food was really good and a good value at $27 a person"
"I tend to be a kinder and gentler Yelp reviewer, however, I can't deny I found myself disappointed during this first visit to Pagoda Grill and Buffet, a Chinese buffet located in the strip center at 38th and Moller in Indy's International Marketplace area. I'd offered a friend of mine a meal at his place of choice for Christmas. We usually get together on my side of town, however, this time around we chose something closer to him. Pagoda is in an older strip center, though it's fairly well maintained with accessible parking spots and an appropriate curb cut. The glass doorways here are a little heavy, though they were manageable. As you enter, there's dining to the right, a hosting area where you pay directly in the middle, some Chinese decor toward the front, and the remainder of the buffet and dining room behind the hosting area. They also have a party room all the way in the back. We arrived at about 5:30pm in the dinner hour. The crowd was pretty steady. There are several buffet tables with both traditional Chinese fare along with obvious American items like fried chicken, pizza, and other items. My friend and I found a table, though it was quite filthy with a big clump of food directly under it that wasn't cleaned up until we were done. After you pay, they give you your receipt and a server comes by to check your drinks and then brings the drinks. This server was efficient, though not particularly hospitable. That said, she did bring refills. The food ranged from downright cold to kind of warm. I think there were a couple items I'd consider to have been hot. I had one plate and started a second, however, by the second the coldness of the food made it very unappealing.Crab rangoons were decent. Chicken was tolerable. Fried rice was bland. Egg rolls were okay. It was all definitely very "meh" and nothing that I thought was memorable. The atmosphere was tolerable but far from appealing. I think the overall price was in the $40+ range including drinks for two people. Would I visit again? Not a chance. There are too many other better options. This is the area where I grew up and I was really hoping to find a place over here for those times when I am feeling nostalgic. While I've had worse meals, the average atmosphere, cold to warm food, dirty floor, and lack of welcome all add up to this being a one and done experience."
"It's new I'm still exploring but so far so good! The ribs were good the sushi was good my husband just sighed as eating an oyster was so very good. He green beans very good. I'll update when I've eaten"
"This place lacks in food quality and service. They are a bit rude and not very helpful.I got there shortly after they opened and the food looked like it had been sitting out for a while. They had egg drop and sweet n sour soup on the Buffet but I wanted wonton soup so I ordered off the menu.I would only go back if a group of friends or coworkers wanted to go.The broth of the wonton soup was fine but the won tons were terrible!"
"The Brown County Inn is such a lovely place to stay with thoughtful amenities all throughout the property. The staff is friendly and welcoming with fresh brewed coffee right at the front desk in the morning! The menus are well curated for bigger-city tastes. Rooms are simple, comfortable and clean. I can't wait to return with my family - rarely do I see playground equipment at hotels to help wear my little one out! There is something for everyone at this resort-style property."

Went there for the snow crab legs and was disappointed that it was cooked with other seafood and was dripping with sauce and hard to get out of the shell! The service was excellent and most of the other foods were fine as well. $60 for the three of us in the evening.

Couldn't have been worse if they tried. Building is old, worn down, and exceptionally dirty. Food looked and tasted like it had been out on the bar since 2013. I won't be going back anytime soon.

The food tastes good. The variety of food is very, very limited. The decor is definitely in need of some TLC. The price of $8.00 makes it worth the visit.

Came here recently at my brother's request for his birthday dinner; and I'm glad he chose Journey! I was impressed with the wide variety of foods--lots of sushi and pretty decent quality for buffet sushi. The crab rangoon... *chef's kiss* The potstickers... *chef's kiss* I look forward to going back! Xoxo, Is this thing on?

Food is ok. Seems somewhat clean. But since COVID they seem to not have the buffet ready until way after opening. It opens at 11 but even by 11:30 it's only about 35% out and ready.

Before my girlfriend had sat down from using the restroom to start eating I was already telling her that we need to go. All of the food was either overcooked, undercooked, or just gross. My girlfriend told me to hold on then found a hair inside of her crab Rangoon and then she was with me in one bite. The manager told us to pay 38 dollars or she would call the cops. Being that we had been in there all of 5 minutes we called for them. We still ended up paying 20 dollars as to not cause a scene with the police. I've never walked out of a restaurant before. I can't explain just how bad this place is. I have no idea how it hasn't been shutdown yet.

Really good buffet! We were here for Sunday brunch. We had a half off coupon for one buffet and with casino points, only paid $23 for two people. The place was clean and the good very hot and fresh. Great crab legs, shrimp cocktail, roasted beef, ham, fried chicken and waffles...all super good! Nice fruit and chocolate fountain. They had a decent dessert section, but nothing spectacular.Definitely worth trying if you like buffets. Clean, hot and fresh! Great service.

"They have a huge impressive buffet. A really nice salad bar. They even have hot bacon dressing as an option with different types of lettuce. There are several comfort foods also fried chicken, noodles, mashed potatoes and many sides. Oh and the desserts there are so many to choose from . Come here hungry for a really good meal."
"Arrived at opening. Approx 20 people waiting for doors to open. Comfortable seating, clean tables not crowded. The Buffett was well stocked with a wide variety of all Chinese top dishes. All food was fresh hot and serving table was clean. Staff was friendly and removed used dishes quickly. Not a show place but a good place to meet family and enjoy a meal."
"I would give them a 3 but I didn't get hot pot. I got the all you can eat sushi. The ordering process was confusing it also took a long time to get the sushi. I ended up just getting it off the buffet. They were very busy I just think they need more people at the buffet. The guy at the buffet was doing noodles and sushi. Overall the prices are pretty reasonable they had a ton of toppings for hot pot. Half I didn't even know what they were."
"I'm surprised, I like the place. They food is fresh and hot. The restaurant looks clean and well put together. I found a few menu items that I haven't seen on other local buffet's. The service is shallow. They work quickly to remove empty plates and freshen up the buffet tables. For the fair price I recommend this restaurant..."
"We've lived in Indiana for 2 years & just found out about Stoll's. We had company, from out of town, and we took them out to lunch. The buffet was excellent. Everything from salads to fried chicken, mashed potatoes & cream gravy, were outstanding! And, the rolls!!! Oh my! We took a dozen home with us, they were so great. We will definitely come back!! The view of the water is very pretty and we're from Seattle, where we had water views almost every where, so, seeing a body of water was a bonus for us!"
"Having just visited another Chinese Buffet about a week earlier, I have a decent point of reference for this establishment. The similarities were amazing.Strengths: Lots of food for a low price. If quantity and cost are your motivation, you will do fine here. Plenty of room, plenty of parking, and generally clean inside. This place has some ornamentation at the lobby to make it look Chinese, and limited decoration inside the dining area.Cons: Customer service is just absent. After being asked how many in my party and what I wanted to drink, I was shown to my seat. And that was it. No one asked if I wanted a menu (they apparently do have them) or wanted the buffet. No one said "help yourself when you are ready". I received my drink and sat until I finally asked someone at the table next to me what was the procedure. Since I didn't see the host/server, I decided to do the buffet. The sushi is made in the back and set out in a bar without labeling. Fortunately, it looked fresh and colorful and I was able to figure out the ingredients on my own. They also had multiple bars of different varieties, like salads, Asian entrees, soups, and appetizers. I did notice someone bringing out refills on the food bins who took time to clean the counters while there after delivering the food. The food was fine, but nothing special. I did try some of the sushi, the egg drop soup, and a couple appetizers, but based on the quality of those, decided I had had enough. I walked to the front desk without a ticket and asked to pay and they found the guy who kept track of that. Again, the system and training for meeting expectations is not there. Maybe it's a cultural thing, but I expect to be greeted, offered a menu, and a wait staff to pay attention to refilling beverages, clearing plates, and bringing a bill. Otherwise, put up signs so that I know what to expect.Review #2007"
"Great selection of foods. Fast paced and everything for a nice, quick meal. Came here for Sunday brunch with family and the foods were very tasty and freshly made. Service was good. Our sever was attentive and kept our drinks refilled. Not a bad price for the foods you get. Sushi and grill are included in buffet price. Can order carry out if preferred"
"I think Golden Corral gets a bad rap but it was a great option on Thanksgiving Day. I guess everyone else had the same idea because there were hundreds of people dining in at around 11am. It was chaotic but honestly the managers and all the staff were on it. The line was out the door but we got seated in about 15-20 minutes. They were great at seating people and mostly keeping everyone together. We have a small family of just 3 so we slid right in. There were some families of upwards of 20 people that had to be split up but otherwise I think everyone got sat together. They were stocking empty food trays and replacing drinks right away. Just when I was thinking it was missing the homey Thanksgiving experience, a couple got in a fight (which the manager promptly broke up) so it was just like home There was sooo much food and a good variety. Plus, a great value at about $16 a person plus drinks. They had all the thanksgiving classics like ham, turkey, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes and macaroni and cheese plus other entrees like pizza and Chinese food. Plus ALL the desserts. I had pie and carrot cake which I would never do at home. And a salad bar so I could feel kinda better about eating all the things. It's been probably 6 or 7 years since I've been to this Golden Corral. In the past I found it dirty and the food wasn't good enough to overlook that. But I read recently that they had made some changes and it was much cleaner. It definitely was and I'm sure I'll be back. I was sad when Ponderosa closed but Golden Corral definitely stepped it up to fill in that void."
"Stopped in here for the lunch buffet. It was pretty inexpensive! Overall the food was good. There were a few dishes I tried that tasted odd, but nothing too major. The food was hot and everything was kept up on nicely. The hostess was making sure to check on everything when she had down time. She worked very hard at making sure everything was in good order for the entirety of our meal. The only complaint I had was that all the tables were pretty sticky. Other than that it's your typical Chinese buffet. They also do take out. Very cheaply, might I add!"
"So much delicious food. One wish I had taken pictures of the buffet lines. Everything was as you would expect- and the price was great. Not a lot of seafood dishes for lunch- and not sure if they add more for dinner-- but for the price ($28 for 2 including a soda) it was great! The drive (from Indy) was about 30 minutes, and, I would do it again! Give them a try!!"
"This is our go to place for Chinese food In the area! We love grabbing carry out from here. Our favorite meals are the sesame chicken and coconut shrimp. We also love the crab Rangoons. such a great little place in Rockville!"
"Diamond in the rough! Wedged between two hotels and close to the highway. We stopped here missing the buffet experience and we're so happy that we did. Seated right away we were able to grab plates and pick out yummy options. I was a little nervous that the options were going to be too limited but pleasantly surprised to be wrong. They wasted no space here by loading up on all the favorites: General Tso, bourbon street chicken, beef and broccoli, teriyaki chicken, Szechuan chicken, chicken on a stick. They offered steamed rice, fried rice and lo mein. Even options for our daughter that included pizza and French fries. There's a little bit of everything here and they really went out of their way to cover all the bases. Personally I loved the garlic green beans as well! Delicious!Finishing off the meal we had ice cream, cake, melon and sugar donuts. We left with very full bellies and happy. Only drawback was the lack of music in the background. It made it so quite but in a way it was also nice and refreshing."
"They are always so kind and food is great! I eat here often! And they one older lady the clears the tables is always so sweet and plays with my 1year old son . Family oriented place ."
"I believe this used to be a Chinese restaurant that I never got a chance to partake. I can't speak to the inside being renovated but it does look very new and it was immaculately clean. They opened October 11, 2024.There was a wide variety of entrees, vegetables, fruits, and salad fixings. I selected steamed rice, green beans, steamed broccoli, BBQ pork and sliced sausage that came with a little sauerkraut. The sausage was very good and so were the green beans which were seasoned with plenty of onions and other ingredients. I liked the BBQ Pork as well. For dessert I chose a slice of white pie that the writing on the glass said cheesecake but it was banana cream pie. That pie was delicious! Service was good throughout my time there including the bussing of dirty plates. The restroom was clean but in need of an air freshener service. Motion flushers and a foot pedal to open the door would be nice too."
"This is probably one of my favorite places to eat in Indiana . And likely the closest to southern cooking you will find. It's not a large buffet but there is more than plenty to eat. Their pan fried chicken is delicious as is there freshly cooked vegetables and sides. This is definitely a not to miss place if you find yourself close to Terre Haute. It's about 30 minutes or so south of Terre Haute."
"Always amazing buffet! This place has something for everyone in your family. Several american dishes, a pizza (things littles will eat). Then massive expanse of chines food, a dedicated sushi area. They have all the soups, and any possible dessert. Best buffet around. The servers are always on drink watch and its usually refilled before you get back. The extra dish ware cleaned up. While large the tables are arranged to where you are not sharing space too close with others. Comforting and relaxed."
"I've been coming here since they opened and they haven't disappointed yet.Full delicious buffet with everything you could want. I would like if the General So chicken was spicer....I guess that goes for everything on the buffet but it's all still good. What makes the Great Wall special is the Mongolian BBQ. I live that I can get a pork chip or a steak cooked any way I like it. Their selection of toppings is pretty good for a smaller buffet. Service is about what you would expect from a buffet. They clear my dirty plates and bring refills. That's about all I ask from a server at a buffet"
"Very nice selection, we really enjoyed our meals. Nice to go up and select any raw meats available and have it cooked to your preferences. Four of us went and no one had any complaints. We've been back many times."
"Yes, it's the restaurant inside of the hotel. I dined here three times during my stay at Crown Plaza Hotel. They have a buffet that has items that rotate each day, so you could literally choose the buffet everyday and have different options. The first day I choose the buffet and filled up mainly on the salad options, so the next day at lunch I inquired about getting just salad and I was pleasantly informed that getting the salad bar only is only $7.50! Score! The first day when I got the full buffet, my tea was included. But when I got the salad bar solely, I was charged an extra $2.50 for my tea. The food was fantastic but the service was despicable. I didn't come into contact with one single pleasant or remotely nice person there. When I asked for a refill after Mary passed by my empty glass several times, she literally shushed me. She said that she had to take someone else's order first. There is a bar area separate from the restaurant that you can order from the same menu. The first night I had the club sandwich and it was so good that my husband ordered it the next day for lunch. His was a lot different... obviously prepared by a different chef. Both were great though, don't get me wrong. My cousin ordered the club sandwich and fries later on the first night and after quiet awhile, she asked where her food was. The bartender went to the back and brought it out... all cold. My cousin mentioned it to her and she brought out a side of fries, but not a replacement sandwich that was also suppose to be toasted and warm. I'm quite certain that fault was of the bartender leaving it back there too long. They certainly need some training..."
"Great place to get some comfort food... buffet style. The food and service is very good. A little on the salty side, but that's how i like it. Had the pork, fried chicken, salisbury steak, mashed taters, brown gravy, green beans, some stewed tomatoes and the sweet tea. I liked everything I ate. They have a salad bar and some cakes and desserts.I will be going back."
"I went to the previous bakery here a couple of times, and it was okay. Nothing to write home about, but they're right down the street from me, so it'll do. I was sad to see them go.But now? I hope they have a great retirement, because Two Guys is pretty dang great. Spouse and I went on opening day and got some donuts and cookies. After I came down from my donut-inspired sugar high, I came immediately to Yelp.First off, the ambiance is delightful, and the staff (the eponymous Two Guys and their employees) were all courteous, perky, and friendly.Secondly, the prices seemed very reasonable. For about $20, we got 4 donuts, a loaf of sourdough, a box of cookies, and a dozen donut holes. Going to a local big box store might be cheaper (maybe), but definitely not as tasty. Where else can you find peanut butter cookies stuffed with peanut butter cups and dipped in chocolate? Well, not in my house anymore, because they're in my belly.Really, the only less than delightful thing is that the space doesn't have AC. Not really a concern today, since I was just picking up food to take home, but although they have an expansive seating area, I'd probably not hang out for long in, say, August."
"Your typical no-frills greasy American-Chinese buffet. Not a huge selection , but convenient enough to pull off the highway and grab some food. Nothing fancy, don't expect crab legs or sushi. If you're Asian the staff will be excited to see you and will ask you where you're from, because there are not that many in Martinsville. They also sell some merch like baseball caps if you want rep their buffet I guess. Friendly service."
"First time there. Lunch buffet. Service was awesome. Waitress stopped by our table to take away plates and refill drinks about 4 times, and they were busy. Buffet was plentiful (2 hrs after opening) and was fairly typical of offerings in a Chinese restaurant. Nice sushi bar, although I just don't enjoy that. They have a grill as well, but we were hungry, so we just opted for what was already out there. Lots of various chicken offerings and various vegetables prepared various ways. Only reason I didn't give them a five is some of the chicken was a little overcooked. Egg rolls were pretty good too. This reminded me of the Teppenyaki restaurants. Restrooms were clean. Drinks and all for two of us was under$30. I think prices go up for dinner/evenings, but way better than a burger joint for just a few bucks more. Next time we are in Muncie, this will be our go to place. IMO they earned it."
